The neighborhood
Die Wohnung befindet sich auf der Lagos-Seite von 'Meia Praia', dem Gebiet, das nach dem Strand benannt ist, hinter dem es liegt. Sie werden Ihre Füße innerhalb von 5 Minuten nach Verlassen des Hauses im Sand haben! Our stay here was great. The place has more than you need and certainly is as listed. The location is right across the street from the beach in a quite safe area. It's not a far walk to the Marina area, about 20 to 30 min, depending on if you walk the beach/boardwalk or the roadway, or a very short drive. Old town Lagos is charming. Lots of shops and restaurants. We would highly recommend this rental if you are looking for a peaceful getaway with all the required home amenities, but close enough to the restaurants and action if you wanted that.

I had to go to the Algarve to take care of a few things and wanted a nice place to stay, that was close to Lagos and not too far from Carvoeiro and Lagoa. This place was perfect, very well located, 2 seconds from the beach, minutes walking from nice restaurants etc The price was just right.

Location is very nice near the sea and walkable to Lagos centre.
When you’re inside you can’t see the sea and this felt a bit claustrophobic. The terrace is very small and has no deckchairs, only a small table and 3 chairs.
Nice pool on the roof with deckchairs but no shade.

This property was very spacious in a private condo complex right across from the beach. Walkable to downtown Lagos and roof top pool with an amazing view. The location was perfect. It also came with private indoor parking which was a bonus. The only negative is that they only provide min amenities so be prepared to bring things like extra toilet paper, soap for bathroom etc… I would highly recommend this property to anyone who wants to stay at the beach but still have easy access to town via the board walk.

Wir haben das Apartment für einen kurzen Aufenthalt gebucht und es war insgesamt in Ordnung. Leider gab es von Anfang an einen sehr starken und unangenehmen Geruch (ähnlich wie Gully oder faule Eier), der über den gesamten Aufenthalt hinweg nicht verschwand. Das war leider ziemlich störend.
Von den drei Terrassentüren ließ sich nur eine öffnen. Die anderen waren entweder nicht benutzbar oder fielen uns beim Versuch, sie zu öffnen, fast entgegen – hier besteht definitiv Reparaturbedarf. Auch im Badezimmer und den anderen Räumen sieht man, dass einige Teile schon komplett auseinanderfallen und dringend erneuert werden sollten.
Abgesehen von diesen Mängeln bietet die Wohnung alles, was man für einen kurzen Aufenthalt benötigt, aber eine umfassende Sanierung wäre definitiv empfehlenswert für das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis welches wir bezahlt haben.

Very well located on a beautiful beach. Although pictures published did not include front balcony view which was a vacant ruined building. The shower/tub not draining (others said the same). Toaster not working - had to hold down to toast bread. Remote to open garage door not working. Had to park outside! Patio door leading to main bedroom was broken and unable to secure shut. Had to request they come take a look. Maintenance came and said it was not the first time they came to try to fix. Place requires some cleaning and maintenance. Location is great. Walkable to main attractions. Lagos is a beautiful town! Restaurants are great! If the place was better maintained it would be the perfect place to stay.

Excelente localização (basta atravessar a rua para chegar à meia praia), quartos com boa área a camas muito confortáveis.
A cozinha está bem equipada, a zona da sala é confortável, tem um bom sofá e uma boa televisão. Havia um cheiro intenso a esgoto na casa de banho que tornou a permanência em casa não muito agradável, principalmente na zona da casa de banho e do quarto mais próximo da mesma.
Podiam fazer pequenos melhoramentos no apartamento principalmente na casa de banho (candeeiro de teto tem ferrugem, o resguardo da banheira está partido), com pouca coisa tornariam a experiência muito melhor.
Haviam poucas molas para estender roupa e fez alguma falta uma vassoura.

L'appartement était impeccable, très grand et bien équipé pour notre famille avec 2 enfants. Une bouteille de vin blanc et une bouteille d'eau nous attendaient: une belle attention! La literie et les serviettes étaient de qualité. La terrasse avec table et chaises et vue sur la mer était fort appréciée. La cuisine avait beaucoup de vaisselle et les équipements étaient nombreux. Les petits moins: des unités de climatisation murale bruyantes dans le salon et les chambres et une odeur étrange dans la salle de bain (la tuyauterie?). Mais le confort est A1. La localisation, à 2 minutes de la plage, est fantastique ! La piscine au toit était très propre et l'eau à bonne température pour se rafraîchir. Nous avons toutefois pris l'auto pour aller au centre-ville ... Nous vous recommandons, sans hésiter! Coup de coeur: resto Quintal do Peixe, juste de l'autre côté de la rue!

Superlocatie met fijn balkon en mooi uitzicht. Comfortabel bed. Het zwembad is op het dak en daar is het uitzicht ook super. Het stinkt er en dat komt van vocht uit de badkamer. Waarschijnlijk vanonder het bad. Verder oogt het allemaal wat verlopen. Allemaal vrij simpel te verhelpen en dat geeft het appartement veel potentie. Als de eigenaren daarin zouden investeren, dan kan dit een topper worden.

Appartement was heel netjes en goed uitgerust. Ruime slaapkamers. Voldoende ruimte op het balkon met 2 volwassenen en 2 kinderen. Het complex waar je verblijft is ook heel goed onderhouden. Wij hebben 1x in de garage geparkeerd. Deze was erg smal maar buiten het complex er voldoende parkeerplaats. Het zwembad op het dak is heel goed onderhouden en voldoende ligstoelen aanwezig om te genieten van het mooie uitzicht. Doordat het zwembad solar verwarmd is konden we zelfs begin mei al zwemmen. Als je de weg oversteekt bereik je direct het prachtige praia Meia. Er zijn ook veel leuke strandtentjes in de buurt. Je loopt langs het strand over een aangelegd wandelpad in 20 min naar Lagos. Wij hadden een auto gehuurd vanaf het vliegveld en we hebben heel veel mooie plekjes van Portugal in de buurt (binnen een uur) kunnen ontdekken.

После 10 дней пребывание в этой квартире могу отметить минусы и плюсы: Квартира выглядит немного уставшей, старый запах и нужен небольшой ремонт. Ванная немного устарела. К сожалению после прочтения отзывов могу сказать что проблема с ванной не решена, вода по прежнему плохо уходит и не работает переключатель для душа. Кран умывальника так шумит что его слышно весь дом. Отсутствие необходимо вещей таких как пакеты для мусора, кофе, шампуни( было указано что есть), полотенца для пляжа. Дверь-окно в спально плохо закрывалась и по этому шумно с улицы. Не очень чисто в доме так и на балконе. Сушилка для вещей грязная, старая и ржавая. Парковочное место есть но парковаться так сложно, очень узко. Мы поркавались на улице.
Из плюсов: -большая и хороша оборудована кухня( много посуды , есть всё необходимое) -хорошее расположение ( рядом пляж) -рядом центр города и магазин -WIFI хорошо работает
В целом не плохо но мы сюда больше не приедем.

The apartment was ideally located across the street from the beach. There was a nice boardwalk which parallels the ocean and went for quite a distance. We appreciated the rooftop pool and fully supplied kitchen. Note that the parking is underground and you have to go into the apartment first to get the key fob.

We really enjoyed our stay here! The place was spotless and the location was perfection, literally a one minute walk to the beach! We spent some time lounging in the rooftop pool… fantastic!
We walked into town several times and it was totally doable. It was about a 25 minute walk which helped to justify the happy hour drinks that we partook in!
One recommendation that we have is for the host to provide instructions ahead of time for unlocking the door as it was a real head-scratcher at first!
Unfortunately, the tub drained very slowly and was clearly clogged. In addition, the switch between the two types of shower heads was broken. I reached out to rental valley asking them to address these issues and although they said they would send someone they did not.

Das Appartement war direkt vis a vis vom grossen Strand Maia Praia und zu Fuss in die Stadt hatte man ca 30Min. Der Balkon mit seitlichem Meerblick war zwar nicht riesig, aber es reichte super aus. Es war die perfekte Lage. Die Wohnung war sehr gross und hatte alles was man brauchte. Um die Waschmaschine waren wir sehr froh, das war purer Luxus. Der Parkplatz in der Einstellhalle war ebenfalls super, jedoch schwer zum einparken. Der Pool auf dem Dach war sehr sauber und es hatte nie viele Leute. Es hatte auch noch eine riesen Dachterasse zum sünnele. Uns hat es sehr gut gefallen und wir kommen gerne wieder.

Apartment very well appointed with everything you needed. Nice views from rooftop pool area which was quite large. Enjoyed the balcony terrace for breakfast and afternoon drinks. Secure parking was on site underneath the building. Walk to beach and great walks along boardwalk. Approximate 20min walk to town but we drove so we could get groceries etc. but bus stop right in front. Would recommend.

Diese Wohnung ist für einen längeren Aufenthalt geeignet. Die Küchenausstattung , Geschirr. Besteck und Gläser sind vorhanden. Es gibt schnelles Internet zum gucken mit einem Streamingstick. Wir haben in den Betten gut geschlafen. Sie entsprach voll unseren Erwartungen. Die Selbstversorgung geht ohne Probleme. Lagos ist die Reise wert. Unser Aufenthalt war Dez. bis März. Der Strand und Dünenstrandweg aus Holz sind sehr schön, natürlich auch der Blick auf den Atlantik. Einige Gäste haben auch darin gebadet. Vielen Dankfür die schönen Tage. Familie Misch

Nice apartment but not what we thought we were renting. Beware of properties that say the configuration of the apartment you rent may differ from the pictures. Never rent unless you know the address and entry details before you agree to rent the property. You probably want to look it up on Google earth first. We arrived at the property before knowing entry details and had to call. The pool in the picture does not belong to this property or if it does, it was not explained or shown to us. The person who helped us enter the property was great, and if not for her we would have gone elsewhere an tried to get our money back. Communication with both VRBO and the property owner was inadequate or worse. Never accept any entry details from a property that uses Vikey and says they will send a signal to your phone that will allow you to place your phone next to a screen and automatically open doors. This property did not do that, but others we used did. The electronic signal does not work with some (many or most?) American cell phones. VRBO has gone down hill; beware of using their “premium providers.”

The apartment was lovely, clean abnd all facilities that were needed. We had a problem with unlocking the main front door which was a concern, we were responded to quickly by the rental team on how to fix it but hopefully it will be replaced to stop this happening for other guests. It was A short walk across the road to an amazing beach. Not many beach bar options for lunch but the ones that were there were very friendly and good food. The marina and town of lagos was a lot further than the advert listing implied, it was a good 20 minute walk to the marina and a further 10 to 15 minutes to the town. We had no car so relied upon a hourly bus service ( which didn't really follow the timetable) or taxis. The town and marina, once there were both very nice. Overall a lovely holiday, just personally longer to lagos than we anticipated.

Eine relativ ruhige Wohnung mit viel Platz und ordentlicher Ausstattung -wenn auch leider ohne eine Kaffeemaschine oder eine Teekanne.Lediglich eine Nespresso-Maschine, was das Kaffeekochen mit Kapseln für mehrere Personen erschwert. Im Bad leider deutlicher Schimmel , aber die Betten sind von sehr guter Qualität. WiFi funktionierte super und die Dachterrasse ist toll.

Genial ist die Lage, man ist in 2 Minuten am Strand und kann stundenlange Strandspaziergänge unternehmen. Außerdem kann man bequem in ca. 30 Minuten nach Lagos gehen und somit auch das Auto mal stehen lassen. Das Team von Rental Valley hat uns bei zwei kleineren 'Problemchen' superschnell und kompetent geholfen. Die Wohnung ist sehr gut ausgestattet. Wir haben uns rundum wohlgefühlt und werden sicherlich nochmals diese Wohnung buchen.

The apartment is a short walk to the beach and has a rooftop pool in the complex with a great view. The staff was very helpful and responded to messages in the app quickly. It has a lovely shower and the apartment was clean. It would have been nice to have a few extra amenities included since we arrived late the first night and had no coffee, soaps, etc. We used the parking garage the first night and had many difficulties with the limited space for the parking spot.

El apartamento está muy nuevo, es muy luminoso y está bien ubicado, muy cerca de una magnífica playa y a corta distancia de sitios de interés.
La cocina es muy completa y amplia. Echamos de menos un kit de café de bienvenida para la primera noche.
Le falta mantenimiento: tenía fundidas varias luces, una la del baño, lo que obligaba a usar la lampara asociada al extractor que es ruidoso. La puerta de salida al balcón desde el salón estaba bloqueada y no fue posible abrirla durante la estancia, solo pudimos acceder al balcón desde el dormitorio.
El balcón es lateral, pero se ve el mar, delante de la casa hay una carretera por la que pasan continuamente coches lo que le resta cierto encanto para la ubicación tan extraordinaria que tiene.

We had a lovely stay! The hosts were thoughtful and left us a bottle of wine to enjoy. The apartment was a great layout for my husband, myself and our 1 year old daughter. Annemarie provided us with a travel cot and high chair. The roof top pool and terrace had a great view and we got to enjoy it all to ourselves as noone else was up there. The apartment did have a parking garage which was nice but it was a tight space for our rental vehicle, but there is street parking available as well. Would definitely stay here again!

Look no further, this is THE place to stay if you are in the Lagos area. The side porch that overlooked the water to spend mornings and evenings on, the espresso machine and wine bottle upon arriving, the AC, the personal parking space, laundry machine, the list goes on... (If you happen to go here we fell in love with Praia do Beliche, the most beautiful beach we went to that wasn't so crowded, as well as Tasca do Kiko for dinner!! We went twice- you wont be disappointed). Thanks Annemarie and Renske! We will be recommending your place to others!!

The location is truly the best. A quick walk to the beautiful beach and about a 15 min flat walk into Lagos for all you would need. A big grocery store a 3 min drive away. The apartment was very spacious and had everything we needed. We kept remarking how it was such a special location. The parking space is a bit tight so beware if you have a larger car with you but it was great to have dedicated parking. I would recommend and would go back.

The apartment is located very close to the beach and the amenities were fantastic. Ivo and Miriam have a lovely place and they have done the place in a thoughtful and pleasing way. They even have an ice chest you can use to take stuff to the beach, which is literally a 2 min walk from the apartment.
The place was a little hard to find, but Annemarie was always available to answer our questions and help us. We had a fantastic stay and everyone in the family loved it.

My girlfriend, brother and fiancé and I had a lovely stay at Annemarie and Renske apartment,, it was very clean and quiet and only a very short walk to the beautiful beach. If you have intentions of visiting the neighboring beaches and small coastal towns then I would recommend hiring a car for your stay. I would definitely recommend this apartment to explore the great beaches and fantastic food in the Algarve:) Wish we could have stayed a little longer.

Stop looking for a spot for your Lagos holiday because this place is PERFECT! Annemarie is so kind and sweet and the flat was absolutely incredible. Can’t beat the location by the beach, and the rooftop pool was such a special place to watch the sun set! This place was very nice, Annemarie and Renske gave us a lot of good recommendations and tips. We had a hard time getting into the place at first and the parking garage is super tight so that made things stressful but we were able to figure it out. What a beautiful, high spec apartment. Electric shutters, great shower over the jacuzzi bath, all the things you need to cook (except oil, salt, etc). The apartment is directly opposite a stop for the gold and white tourist train (€3.50pp for a day ticket, ~10 min ride to Lagos marina). There is secure underground parking but, despite hiring a car, we decided to walk most days (Lagos town to the right, Bar Quim to the left is right on the beach and does amazing prawns and tasty Piri Piri chicken). There is a pedestrian/cycle path set back from the road, parallel to the railway track, so you don’t need to walk along the main road. Our host sent us all the necessary info via a very handy app, was interactive without being intrusive, and was quick to respond to any queries. We were lucky to have the sun terrace and pool completely to ourselves every day we were there, and the views of the bay were nothing short of spectacular. My husband went for a run along the beach, to the marina and back and jumped in the sea afterwards before walking back up to the apartment to cool down. They kindly arranged for a travel cot and highchair to be assembled in the apartment. We honestly had such a brilliant first holiday with our baby boy, and wouldn’t hesitate to come back to this apartment, perhaps with a couple of friends next time. The only 2 things I could possibly suggest to add the icing on the cake would be to include beach towels (Ryanair’s new baggage policy is very limiting) and a cheese grater! Thank you Annemarie. We had an excellent stay.
