Très chouette logement parfaitement situé!! C'est une petit maison typique d'Amsterdam, très mignon. Le sol dans la chambre n'est pas droit mais ça ajoute finalement du cachet. Il faudrait peut-être juste mettre un cal sous le lit pour équilibrer ainsi que rafraichir un peu la salle de bain, mais tout le reste était impeccable! Lot est gentil et accueillant, nous avons passé un agréable séjour! Nous recommandons ;)

Lot a été très accueillant en dépit de notre arrivée tardive. la chambre était chaleureuse, bien chauffée (un bonheur avec le froid d'hiver d'Amsterdam) et propre. l'emplacement est au coeur des canaux d'Amsterdam dans le quartier de Jordan ce qui permet de faire presque tout à pied. Room interiors aren't exactly the same as shown in the booking pictures- some interior details are missing. Rooms in booking.com pictures look much more beautiful than in life. Broken window.

Our host, Lot, was welcoming and helpful. He also ran the restaurant next door which was convenient and excellent for dinner. Unfortunately breakfast is not included at this B&B but tea and coffee were provided and kitchen facilities were good. Our room was characterful, comfortable and quiet and the location is very central, easy to walk everywhere. This is an old Dutch house with uneven floors and very steep stairs to climb - a bit alarming getting to the bathroom in the middle of the night!

Overall this was a great place! Lot was super helpful and responded quickly to everything! He made check in super easy as well and gave a tour of the whole place! The room was nice and had a cute little window! The room was spacious and had a sink in it which was nice. The bathroom was downstairs and the stairs were very steep. If that is not doable I wouldn’t recommend the place. However, for anyone who doesn’t mind the steps then I couldn’t recommend this place enough! Would stay again next time I’m back in Amsterdam!

We loved our stay in Amsterdam! The location was perfect for us - so beautiful to be right by the canals while also in such a peaceful place. The room was comfortable and we really enjoyed the outdoor area where we had our coffee each morning. We had the place nearly to ourselves, and staying here made our experience in Amsterdam really special. As other reviews said the stairs are steep, and going down a flight to the bathroom/kitchen was a little challenging - but we think it was really worth it! Our host was thoughtful and went out of his way to make us comfortable.

This place has an incredible location. That is absolutely a huge selling point. It is a great place to stay for a night or two. The shared bathroom wasn’t a problem but the bathroom itself was a bit mildewy and the towels didn’t smell very good. The host was absolutely lovely and the room was nice! The balcony was really enjoyable. There is also a sink in the room which is convenient. Very steep stairs but we were able to get our giant suitcases up and down no problem, just challenging.

Our personal room had it's own sink, so we didn't have to use the shared bathroom to brush teeth, wash face, etc. The shared facilities (bathroom, kitchen, laundry) were good quality and exceeded my expectations. The host was very friendly and showed us around and chatted with us for a while. The laundry wasn't super user-friendly, but we figured it out! :)

Ubytování bylo skvělé v tom že bylo opravdu v centru. Vše kousek.. Majitel byl senzační a vstřícný! Za což bych ještě jednou chtěla poděkovat! Ubytování na fotkách vypadá verši než se zdá, nedoporučuji cestovat s velkým zavazadlem aby jste ho dostali do pokoje!😅 Dále bych chtěla zmínit, že úklid nebyl úplně perfektní ale nic co by se nedalo přežít.

I stayed at this property for 3 days and enjoyed it and Amsterdam thoroughly. The host was very helpful and open. I had no issues with anything at the property. The area is very nice and quite at night. Only possible downside could be for people with mobility issues as the staircases are very narrow and steep. As long as you're aware of that, I recommend this place.

Charming, picturesque room with private sink and access to rooftop, located in very nice neighbourhood, kitchen access with fridge, microwave and espresso machine, friendly and welcoming host, easy check-in/check-out. Two very steep and narrow flights of stairs; room is upstairs, bathroom downstairs. Old building, hence not the most functional bathroom - we couldn't find the trick to make the tap work so washed our hands in the kitchen. ;) Very enjoyable stay, would come back! :)

Lot a été un hote adorable, très accueillant avec le sourire dès notre arrivée. Il a été très arrangeant car nous sommes arrivés un petit peu plus tôt que prévu.
Il s’agit d’une maison typique d’Amsterdam, très accueillante et chaleureuse . L’emplacement est idéal pour vous prendre le tramway, vous balader et profiter des établissements qui sont à côté.
Nous avons adoré notre séjour en amoureux et recommandons fortement cette maison .
Nous n’avons malheureusement pas eu le temps d’essayer, le restaurant de Lot mais nous espérons une prochaine fois.

Amazing morning coffee everyday with the professional coffee maker machine. I loved the grounded Arabica coffee for my morning espresso! The host was very friendly, everything as mentioned, please read carefully. I loved the sink in the room, was really useful. What is not mentioned clearly is a good surprise is the terrace you can go through the big window. I can call it a balcony. Peaceful and calm. The host provided kitchen to be used along with others, a lot of shampoos (funny to say but it’s true). The host also, helped me understand the map of the city and some mind blowing information about the history behind of the street names and in general Amsterdam. I strongly suggest the Italian Sicilian restaurant downstairs also.

Had a lovely stay - the area is perfect to explore and very picturesque. We only had one other couple staying at the same time who we didnt see, so the shared bathroom was not an issue and the place felt very private! Lot was very communicative and friendly. As other guests said, the only reason I wouldn't stay is if you have mobility issues as the stairs are very narrow and steep. If that's not a problem then its a great Airbnb experience :)

Todo me pareció excelente, el alojamiento es tal cual se describe, hay un lavamanos dentro de la habitación lo que resulta muy útil para no tener que salir al baño a lavarse los dientes o ir por agua.
Tiene un calentador que funciona súper bien.
Además puedes salir por la ventana a una pequeña terraza que en lo personal me gusto mucho.
Lot es dueño del restaurante de abajo por lo que siempre está disponible pero te da mucha privacidad
En la cocina hay todo para poder cocinar y las instalaciones funcionan súper bien.
Agua caliente e internet todo el tiempo
Estoy muy contento de haberme hospedado aquí y sin duda regresaría!

Die Unterkunft liegt sehr zentral und trotzdem ruhig. Das alte Haus hat Charme. Der Vermieter ist nett. Unser Zimmer war sehr unsauber. Die gemeinsam mit anderen genutzte Küche ebenfalls. Ich habe neue Lappen zum Abwaschen gekauft, da der vorhandene mehr als unhygienisch war. Das Geschirr habe ich vorher nochmals abgewaschen. In den Küchenschränken steht neben dem Geschirr auch jede Menge anderes Abgestelltes. Der Müll quoll über, auch auf der gemeinsam mit anderen genutzten Toilette, was für mich als Frau sehr peinlich war, da der Mülleimer offen war. Wir verbrachten 5 Tage in Amsterdam, sind oft über booking in Großstädten unterwegs, aber haben beim besten Willen kein Verständnis für diese Unsauberkeit. Das verstehen wir nicht unter Gastfreundschaft. Schade, ansonsten ein lieber Vermieter.

Lot was a great host he was very welcoming offered suggestions on things to do. The stay was good although the other guests helped themselves to my pizza. Lot was very kind & invited me into his restaurant below for dessert & wine. Would recommend to anyone as you get a great host, it is very central & the Airbnb has everything you need. Only caution is there are two sets of steep & narrow stairs so if you have large luggage be aware.

Die Unterkunft war rund um perfekt ! Wir haben uns mehr als wohl gefühlt. Der Vermieter war unglaublich freundlich und zuvorkommend, sodass wir sogar einen Abend mit ihm in seinem direkt unter dem Airbnb liegenden Restaurant verbracht haben. Our stay with Lot was great. The location is perfect. The home is more of a traditional Dutch style home, so some modern amenities are sacrificed and you do share a bathroom with the house. That was all fine for our short stay, but for a longer period it would have been tough. Lot was an awesome host and gave us such a warm and knowledge welcome to Amsterdam.

Great location in Jordaan, just enough outside the hustle and bustle but still close enough to come and go throughout your day in Amsterdam. It’s more of a ladder than a staircase getting up to the bedroom, so if you have limited mobility this isn’t the place for you. They were flexible with letting me check in early, but it felt like they only half cleaned to have it ready for me in time. There are other Airbnb guests here. Rachid was helpful and friendly.

Our stay in Amsterdam was made more convenient thanks to Rashid who was the local host. He always responded very quickly to any texts, phonecalls and was eager to help at all times as well as give any useful tips about the city. The room was nice and the bed was comfortable. The only thing to beware of would be a steep staircase which may be demanding for elderly people or people with any injuries/disabilities. The area is located in a less busy neighborhood in a close proximity to the vibrant city center which in our case was exactly what we were looking for. The kitchen was fully equipped and ready to be used for making breakfast or a quick dinner in case you´d like to save a few bucks by not eating in a restaurant every time. The kitchen as well as the bathroom is shared between I think up to 3 rooms so it could get crowded or less private depending on how full the building is. In case you like to socialiaze, this could also be perceived as a benefit ;)

Lot fue muy amable y estuvo siempre al pendiente. Fue flexible Con mi horario de llegada que se iba atrasando más y más con el tráfico de llegada. Incluso fue por mí cuando pensó que estaba perdida.
El barrio no nos gustó tanto. El centro está muy concurrido y nosotros hubiéramos preferido algo más tranquilo. Pero si lo que se busca es estar en medio de los bares y restaurantes, a un paso de todo, este es el lugar. Está muy muy bien ubicado.
Y de nuevo, el anfitrión es extremadamente servicial y amigable. Dispuesto a ayudar y contestar todas las preguntas.

- The location is superb, walkable to everywhere in amsterdam and in a trendy suburb which is more local and less touristy - The rooms feel homely and are comfortable with lockable doors - Having a sink in the room was an added bonus - The host is really nice and welcoming - Airconditioning portable unit in room was great - Washing Machine / dryer in property was very handy (however see next point) - We were in the attic room, which didn’t bother us however they are very steep and narrow stairs which if you have mobility issues could be a problem. - There are also a number of stairs, still quite steep to get up the the property as it’s on level 1, again no issue for us but if you have mobility issues maybe don’t stay in a classic style Amsterdam house. - It is a shared bathroom (which it clearly states in the property) however the shower and toilet aren’t separated which can mean you may need to wait before use.
- Wifi didn’t work in the attic room which was a shame
- We used the washing machine & dryer on our first day and the owner was very helpful in showing us how to use on check in. When ready to use the dryer, it still had towels in it for a day, so we waited but couldn’t wait any longer so I folded the towels and placed them aside so we could use the amenities. The second day we tried to do our next load of washing however the washing machine was full of bedding and remained full for the next two days. This was frustrating as we paid and wanted to use these amenities but they were not available and clearly not another guests items.
- The toilet paper also ran out, however the host was helpful in replacing this quickly. Over the next two days the toilet paper wasn’t topped up.
These two last points made us question how often the property is serviced/cleaned during the stay.
We did enjoy our stay and the hospitality of the owner, but you can probably get something better for the price if I’m honest.

The location was excellent, with most of central Amsterdam and anything you'd want to see being ~10 mins walk away. However, the property was nice and quiet at night, which was brilliant.
The host, Lot, was very friendly and informative. With the weather being so hot we were very grateful that the room had air-con too. Not much. We were aware of the shared bathroom and that was fine with us. This isn't the fanciest place but if you want somewhere quiet and central to stay, it does the job very well.

Friendly, welcoming and available host/owner. This attic room felt shabby and neglected. Could use a paint job, a good cleaning, some furniture, (another chair, a less dilapidated rug, luggage rack, some drawers, somewhere to hang clothes on a hanger), a better mattress, bedside lamps (as seen in ad photo).
You can step out through large French windows on to a dangerous, insecure deck, with makeshift incomplete railings unsecured to deck surface or building. Nice to have outside access, but poorly protected.
Two staircases , both very narrow and steep (an older building of course) - not suitable for older travellers.
We have travelled extensively through the years and found the value for the high cost disappointing. A modern hotel, literally around the corner, offered available rooms for almost 100 Euros less per night - we checked to see if the high cost we were paying was fair for the neighbourhood. It wasn't.

It's in a pretty good location, a short tram ride from the main station, and the bus coming from the airport. Plenty of cafes and supermarkets around. Staff were friendly, met us from the cafe downstairs and let us in early after our flight was early. Staff were quick to respond when the wifi network included on the third party arrival instructions didn't work. The TV in our room was not connected to any antenna, so you could not watch anything.
The hand towel for our basin looked used and towels given for showering are very small.
After showering, while drying myself off I realised my towel smelt like urine. I had to shower again and we had to wash and dry all towels after this.
If you aren't aware, lots of places in Amsterdam have very steep stairs. We were in the upper floor and the stairs are more like a ladder. If you have a heavy bag or disabilities, this could be tricky.
There was a full, but previously opened bottle of water left in our room (cap seal had been broken).
The rooms do not have a bin, so you need to collect your own rubbish and place it in the kitchen.
There is one toilet and shower between we think 4 apartments within the B&B. The toilet is very cramped and cannot be used if someone is showering. No hand soap was provided.
The shower was very slow to drain, when inspecting the drain plug I found it was clogged with hair as it had not cleaned out.
We stayed three nights in late March 2023, didn't see anyone cleaning communal facilities. There was no mattress protector on the bed, only a sheet.
The entrance staircase is very dark, with slow automatic lighting. We took videos of before and after, but can't upload.

The location was amazing, walking distance to everything and on a lovely laneway. You could only access via steep and narrow steps to the room, which wouldn't be accessible for everyone -the room was a decent size but the mattress/ bed was uncomfortable, and although we knew the bathroom was shared it was hard to get to in the middle of the night because of the stairs. Small thing but the wifi didn't reach the top room so had to sit downstairs to reach wifi.

A really nice spot seemingly right in the middle of everything you want to do in Amsterdam. I stayed with my girlfriend for her birthday and we were concerned we wouldn’t get to see and do everything we wanted. The location here put us within 10 minutes to literally anything you’d dream of doing in Amsterdam and we managed to visit 7 museums, 30+ coffeeshops, boat tours and ate in some great places from breakfast & pancakes to tasting menu restaurants in the evenings.
The host Rachid was never really around, (he may own the restaurant on the ground floor which looks lovely), but we met him briefly on our way out and thanked him for the stay in his home.
I can’t find any faults for the stay here besides recommending somewhere else for the elderly or people with mobility issues as the door can be difficult to get to and one room is located up a very steep narrow set of stairs. Thanks again Rachid!

Increíble lugar, esta muy bien ubicado. Estuve con un amigo un par de días y genial. El anfitrión es muy simpático y nos explicó todo al detalle. Muy recomendable el lugar. The apartment of Lot is absolutely lovely and located perfectly in the old center of Amsterdam. We never had to use public transport since everything was easily reachable by foot. This airbnb is well suited for couples and has a very cozy flair. The host was also super generous, kind and very welcoming! We definitely recommend it and would enjoy to visit again :)

Rachid nous a très bien accueillis au petit restaurant juste à côté de l’appartement. Ce dernier est très bien équipé que ce soit au niveau de la cuisine, SDB, chambre (couverture, serviette, plaide...). Nous n’avons manqué de rien ! Le quartier est très charmant, rempli de petits commerces ce qui est très pratique pour faire les courses. Le tram est juste à côté (2min) à pied et ça ça change tout. Nous avons beaucoup marcher pour mieux découvrir la ville, et vu l’emplacement de l’appartement c’était pratique ! Je recommande fortement ! Si nous revenons sur amsterdam nous y retournerons avec joie!!

Rashid was the best! met us to have that personal touch with check in, got us settled, gave us advice, and coffees. He's a lovely personality and really adds to the trip and knows everyone on the block who you need to know

The house was nice, cleaned and warm. The shared bathroom was good. We could use the kitchen, have a good coffee and when we arrived the owner was really kind. He spent time with us and give us tips for the journey. The area is really nice, bars, shops, in centre of Amsterdam. Good !

our host made us breakfast the first morning and stalked a mini fridge for us to us. location was great ! 20 min to van gogh and 20 min to heineken experience. definitely would 10/10 recommend and use again.
