  1. We had a lovely stay. The apartment was very convenient as our son and family were staying in Baia D Luz not far from us

    Positive: Very convenient to the pool area and Alloro. Negative: The Camper Van site and the dogs barking at night. The police visited the site while we were there. Left us feeling nervous.

    Second time we’d stayed in this resort but first in this apartment- it’s a great spot for a family like ours with young kids. There wasn’t a Highchair or travel cot provided which would have been helpful, and the table outside only seats 2. Otherwise well set up and we enjoyed our stay!

  19. Nice apartment with direct access to pool.

    Positive: Nice apartment with direct access to swimming pool. Negative: When reserving this apartment it stated there were 2 bathrooms - they are not - there is only 1. Similar 1 bathroom apartments on this complex are available at considerably lower prices (we cancelled one of these to book this apartment). The apartment is through an agency - they had not told the reception about our booking when we arrived and we had to call them to get this arranged. The shower leaked onto the bathroom floor but we did not complain about this. I would not book through this agency again.

    Richtig tolle Unterkunft, schön eingerichtet, die Küche perfekt ausgestattet. Unser Appartement war direkt am Pool und trotzdem sehr privat. Die Anlage ist sauber und gepflegt. Das Meer, die Geschäfte und die Restaurants sind fußläufig erreichbar. Ganz klare Empfehlung - besonders mit kleinen Kindern.

    Super séjour. Le logement est propre et agréable. Il est vien situé (accès aux commerces et aux plages à pied, piscine juste à côté) Toujours de la place sur les transats et la piscine n'est pas surchargée de monde, donc super agréable. nous avons eu quelques petits soucis dans le logement mais tout a été pris en charge rapidement par l'hôte :-) Je n'ai que 2 petites remarques à faire : - Dommage que la table de dehors soit une petite table pour 2 (alors qu'on loue pour 4). Du coup on ne peut pas manger dehors... C'est conforme aux photos de l'annonce mais c'est dommage quand même - Ce serait bien qu'il y ait un peu plus de chose pour faire un brin de ménage, le balai est dans un sale état, quelques sacs poubelles supplémentaire et un peu de produit pour nettoyer seraient la bienvenue. Ca reste du détail et cela ne nous a pas empêcher de passer un très bon séjour !

    Positive: Our second time at Baja. This apartment was better on ground floor. Blockbout shutters were great for lingerie lie inside. Location is perfect for access to the beach. Negative: We couldn't get the TV to work. We didn't try too hard. Instructions would have been useful. Couldn't switch it on.

    Tolle Unterkunft um die Algarve zu entdecken. Man ist sehr zentral und kann mit dem Auto die Strände abfahren und die Städtchen erkunden. Den Pool haben wir fast täglich genutzt. Der Strand ist nur 4-5min zu Fuss entfernt. In der Unterkunft war alles vorhanden; von Waschmaschine(für uns als Familie mit 2 Kindern gold wert) bis hin zum und Staubsauger. Einen Negativpunkt haben wir jedoch anzumerken; Die Küche bzw. das Geschirr war leider nicht wirklich sauber. (Besteck fleckig, Essensreste, Tassen mit Kaffeerand unten,..)Der Kühlschrank hat nach Wurst gerochen und war schmierig. Also habe ich nach dem Check in erstmal 4 Gläser,Teller, Schüsseln und einen Topf gespült und den kompletten Kühlschrank gesäubert. Ärgerlich. Unabhängig von der Küche haben wir schöne Tage dort verbracht. Und wir haben uns einen grünen Sonnenschirm für den Strand geholt, haben ihn auf dem Balkon gelassen für all die Gäste die nach uns folgen:-)

    Beautiful spot quietly nestled close to the beach. Super location. We were there for almost a month and the apartment was very set up for a long stay. As happens in life, a few things arose while we were there but the host was always very responsive with great communication. They dealt with anything that arose thoroughly and promptly. We loved our time there and hope to return! Highly recommend.

    This condo is in the Baia da Luz complex. It’s on the ground floor, good for easy access but also means that everyone can see into your living space when they walk by to get into their condo or go to the pool. The pool and tennis court were nice to use. Pictures described the place accurately and good for a short weekend getaway. We found that most of the people who stay here are either young families with kids or seniors.

The on site restaurant is also fabulous with quality food and very accommodating - even when we arrived at 10:00pm they were still happy to serve us. We would definitely recommend and return.     Positive: Baía da Luz is a good resort. Negative: The apartment was quite small. From recollection the advertisement did not indicate that there was only one bathroom between two bedrooms. Due to a family bereavement we had to leave the apartment early.We left a wedding ring behind in the apartment. Neither the agency used by the owner or reception at Baia da Luz were helpful and in fact told us that the room had been cleaned and there was no jewellery there. Only for a friend was staying for a few extra days and insisted on getting access did we manage to retrieve the ring.

  59. Highly recommend, spotlessly clean and beautiful apartment in a great location.

    Positive: The apartment is in a lovely complex with 2 separate pools (one for families and one for adults only). The playground, pools and grounds of the complex are beautifully maintained and spotless clean. The apartment had everything you need for your holiday and was very clean. It's in a great location, a few minutes walks from the beach and centre of Luz and a few minutes drive from Lagos. Negative: We had asked for an earlier check in than 4pm but this could not be facilitated. As the apartment is privately owned the reception cannot help you with any issues inside the apartment. We had an issue where the bedroom door/window could not open and it took 2 days for them to organise someone to look at it - by which time we had managed to fix it ourselves. But overall its a lovely apartment.

    Positive: El apartamento está muy bien situado cerca de Lagos. Tiene una bonita piscina con acceso directo. Apartamento grande con mucha luz. A primera vista esta nuevo y es muy bonito. Negative: Te dan las llaves en la recepción del complejo pero ya te dicen que no te dan asistencia si tienes un problema. La ducha estaba rota y en dos dias no vinieron a arreglarlo. No estaba demasiado limpio y los colchones estaban sucios. Una de las puertas de uno de los balcones no cerraba, así que teniamos que dejarlo que la persiana bajada. Nos fuimos a las 5 de mañana y a pesar que nos dijeron que habría un vigilante para darle las llaves, no había nadie, ni tampoco un buzón para dejarlas.

No había ni una toalla para cada persona y aunque las reclamamos al llegar y quedaron en traerlas al día siguiente, nunca llegaron.(Las q había eran insuficientes ademas para una estancia de 10 DIAS ). Aunque se anunciaba Netflix y Amazon disponibles en el apartamento con las contraseñas del huésped, no había acceso a ninguna de las plataformas. También de esto se desentendieron en la agencia, aunque reclamamos al llegar. Quiero dejar constancia de que este es un apartamento privado, que no es gestionado por el complejo Baia da Luz. En la recepción del complejo, donde recogimos las llaves, el trato ha sido buenísimo y además les conozco de una estancia anterior directamente con el complejo y había sido todo excepcional.

    Positive: Ubicación. Piscina. Lugar precioso con paisajes maravillosos. Negative: El apartamento no estaba limpio, vitro sucia, huecos de ventanas sin limpiar, . Había insectos hormigas, etc. Las persianas automáticas no funcionaban correctamente. Menaje justo, no había tabla para cortar. 2 rollos papel higiénico para 4 personas durante 3 días. No había nada de detergente, no había bayetas. En fin podría continuar. 150€ noche merecía más cuidado y para colmo restricciones Covid que nadie había avisado. Los niños tuvieron que hacer un test que menos mal que en recepción nos facilitaron todo lo necesario. Aire acondicionado correcto.

    Everything as described! Communication was great! This is a good place to go if you have kids - close to the beach but also 3 pools (adult, family, little kid wading) to choose from, and all right out the door! If you get out this way, you will probably want a car to get around.

    Great location. Free parking, good AC, good pool right outside the door. Host needs to provide more essentials like salt & pepper in the kitchen, garbage bags, or even soap. We weren’t impressed by the lack of these details by the host, even though the property is very nice. We came here from Canada and didn’t think our rental wouldn’t even have soap. So, disappointed in that. Otherwise, Luz is a pretty little town and it’s nice to have a pool outside.

  75. 5 dagen geweest waarvan we 3 dagen niet konden douchen

    Nadat we bij de receptie vandaan kwamen om in te checken, kregen we een sms met bericht doucheslang kapot was. Dit was zaterdagmiddag, zondags zou de douche gerepareerd worden stond in het zelfde bericht.We moesten zorgen dat we de middag thuis zouden zijn.Hele middag gewacht maar kwam niemand. Maandag nog niemand, daarop is mijn man naar de receptie gegaan.We moesten middags thuis zijn , er is toen eindelijk iemand gekomen. Dus drie dagen bezig geweest te zorgen dat boel gemaakt zou worden en geen douche. We hadden een ander idee van vakantie vieren en 50 euro terug weegt niet op tegen de ellende…..had een andere tegemoetkoming verwacht. Helaas nooit meer
