Enjoy a great family time at the pleasant villa, with great indoor & outdoor space and close to the amenities!
The space
This 4 bedroom with all air conditioning villa is in an ideal location for clients who want to walk to the beach and restaurants. When you arrive at the villa you can park your car in secure parking. You enter the villa and on your left, you have a fully fitted kitchen with a microwave, washing machine, dishwasher, oven and all utensils. On the right, you have a reading/tv/workroom.
You have the dining area together with a spacious living room with satellite TV, DVD player and air conditioning. On the same level, there is a double bedroom with air conditioning and a bathroom with a shower. From the living room, you have doors leading to a dining terrace overlooking the pleasant garden and pool. Outside there is a spacious area with a pool (4m x 9,5m), a dining area, a garden with grass and you can do a delicious BBQ near the pool. The property is totally walled, which gives complete privacy.
Up the stairs you arrive on the first floor and on your left you have a spacious double bedroom with doors leading to a terrace, an en suite bathroom and air conditioning. In the hall, there is a family bathroom. On your right, there are 2 single bedrooms where you can sleep comfortably. In each bedroom, there are 2 single beds and air conditioning.
Located in Galé, you can spend the day at Galé beach or São Lourenço beach. The W Algarve hotel (opening 2022) is located directly across from our villa. Once the W Algarve is fully open it would be very appealing with the additional restaurants, spa and other amenities nearby. So after spending the day on the beach, you may be too tired for cooking, so you can relish a meal across the street at W Algarve or have a stroll to Quinta da Galé (pizza), Por do Sol (typical Portuguese food), Tapas or you can to Galé beach and find Pedras Amarelas restaurant (Mediterranean food).

The neighborhood
The house is located in a quiet area just outside Albufeira (a 7minute drive to the old town and main beach). Albufeira has a great beach and a nice town with many nice restaurants. As it is known for having great nightlife, the old town offers nice bars in the evening, but heading a little bit further to 'The Strip' you will find many bars and big clubs. If you're not there for the nightlife and you would like to explore a little of the environment, there are many great options. If you have your own transport, there are many great beaches if you head in the direction of Portimão or Lagos.
Getting around
But bus and trains do not go very often and a (rental) car is recommended. Should you decided not to hire a car there is a bus stop close to the apartment that will take you into the town and also links up with the main bus routes throughout the Algarve and Lisbon.

The property is next to a fabulous hotel which was noisy on our last night when we needed an early night for flights the next day but it was only one night so can’t really complain. The location close to the beach and shops was perfect. A very pleasant stay and excellent host!

1 - Utilize o link do airbnb para chegar a casa, pois se usar o endereço no maps ele indica um ponto bem antes da casa.
2 - O ralo da suíte esteve entupido durante todos os dias da hospedagem o que impossibilitou o uso do chuveiro.
Fora isso a casa esta exatamente como mostra as fotos, limpa e bem cuidada.

The outside areas needed some tlc. The sunbeds could ideally do with replacing and the garden area needed some attention (the gardeners turned up the day before we were leaving).

We noticed water leaking when using the shower in the second floor bathroom so we avoided using this shower. Not an issue for us because the 2 other bathrooms were enough for the number of people there. But it is something to point out. Also, the living room sofa caused allergies in everybody when using it, so a deep cleaning should help. Overall really good place, just two small nuisances that didn't harm our enjoyment.

beaches easy walk -10 mins/15 mins all have restaurants at,
lovely pool bar -scoobys just up the road and tapas restaurant too both 5 mins walk away,
mini shop 100 yrds up road,
nice beds,
air con throughout,
extra sitting room/home office - perfect as one of us was working from home.
3 bathrooms and 3 balconies with netted doors, shutters and secure.
pool was a bit cold on arrival - as weather not good for first 2 days of our trip , it warmed up by the time we left (9 days in April so early in season). otherwise lovely , clean and garden well equipped.
parking area on drive fine for a small car but maybe not SUV.
