This completely renovated and gorgeous quiet family villa is divided into three units. The one bedroom apartment offers all you need for a relaxing holiday.
The space
With amazing views over the typical Algarvian cliffs and the ocean, Villa Miramar offers an oasis of peace just between Burgau and Salema in the south of the Algarve. Last year, the complete property was renovated and split up into three brand new private apartments. All spaces are comfortably and beautifully furnished to the highest standard with modern equipment.
This specific apartment has one bedroom with two single beds. A large bathroom and kitchen living area are connected to a private patio where you can relax outside and enjoy the view.

The apartment is all yours during your stay. You share the main entrance and the parking area.

The neighborhood
Burgau and Salema are quiet fishing villages situated between Lagos and Sagres. Sheltered from the wind by the cliffs on a small cove is the lovely Praia do Burgau. It is an excellent base for a relaxing beach holiday or to explore the beautiful Western Algarve. It has some amazing restaurants and bars facing the sea, and there are several other beautiful beaches in the area to explore. So if your idea of the perfect holiday is to relax in the sun and swim in the sea, this village will provide everything your heart desires.
Three golf courses are within 15 minutes drive, as are many of the Algarve's best surfing beaches. Only 8 kilometres from the historic town of Lagos with its lively nightlife, bustling yacht marina and a huge variety of shops, cafes and restaurants. Other things to do in the area include surfing, fishing, diving, golf, tennis and hiking.
Getting around
You can reach Burgau in about one hour by car from Faro Airport, and car rental is available in the airport's parking lot. By train, it will take about 4 to 5 hours.
Public transport is available in the area but limited. A (rental) car is highly recommended.
Parking is free and abundant everywhere in this area.

Zona comoda per visitare tutte le diverse spiagge e località dell’Algarve.

Sengen er god, stuen og køkkenet er dejlig stort. Badeværelset er også ret stort. Dejlig bruser og varmt vand med det samme. Køkkenets skabe er ret irriterende, da det er et klik system. Derfor er det ikke fulde 5 stjerner herfra.
Vi havde problemer med at få nøglen ud af hoveddøren, og de sendte en tekniker ud til os inden for en time. Fint ophold

- Apartment's terrace is huge and has a nice ocean view.
- Apartment was clean.
- Wi-fi signal was very weak. Also no connection at all on terrace. Cellular connection was also bad due to location. Wi-fi connection has to be improved.
- There was not enough fork in the apartment. You have to run a huge dishwasher almost everyday.
- There was no sofa in the living room. It was definitely not comfortable when sitting in there.
- There was no washing machine in the apartment. Also no laundry options nearby.
- Fridge was small.

Was wir jedoch vermisst hatten war eine Möglichkeit die Handtücher zu trocken. Zudem hätten wir uns ein weiteres Geschirrhandtuch und einen großen Besen gefreut, da es nach einigen Tagen doch sehr sandigen in der Wohnung war (Aufenthaltsdauer 10 Tage).

El apartamento tiene deficiencias bastante importantes. Para empezar, no tiene lavadora ni pinzas ni tendedero, que es algo básico si se va a realizar una estancia de más de un fin de semana. En cambio tiene un friegaplatos enorme, que no vale para nada, porque literalmente sólo hay tres tenedores, tres cucharas... Vamos que no lo llenaríamos ni aunque pusiéramos toda la loza que hay en el apartamento, eso sí, si no nos importara comer con las manos desde el segundo día. Y para fregar el bote de lavavajillas estaba casi vacío y no hay escurreplatos. Tiene detalles como ése bastante cutres. Sólo nos dejaron un juego de sábanas y de toallas para diez días de estancia. Sólo tres rollos de papel de baño y no había rollo de papel de cocina. Sólo dos trapos de cocina y uno de ellos con manchas negras de moho. La ducha se atasca, provocando olor a aguas fecales y el tapón del lavabo más vale que no lo toquéis, porque si se mete para adentro no hay forma de sacarlo. No hay dispensador de gel de ducha. No hay plancha. No hay delantal. No hay horno. La nevera es minúscula y no hay armarios para dejar comida, lo que es bastante necesario porque en cuanto dejas algo de comida sobre la encimera, se llena de hormigas. En las detalladísimas instrucciones que te envían, te dicen que tienes que dejar el apartamento impoluto antes de irte, pero no hay escoba ni fregona. Te indican que hay que separar la basura, pero sólo hay un cubo y no hay bolsas de recambio. La WIFI tiene muy poca potencia, en cuanto sales a la terraza ya no se pilla. Sólo hay dos plazas de parking, aunque hay tres apartamentos, con lo que sino te espabilas, te toca aparcar en la calle. El sofá es la cosa más incómoda que he visto. Los estores son claros y no hay persianas, con lo que dejan pasar la luz, lo que es un problema en verano si quieres dormir, porque amanece muy temprano. En fin, que por lo que cuesta el apartamento, deberían dar mucho, mucho más. Se nota que no está gestionado por portugueses.

Der WLAN-Empfang in unserer Wohnung war schlecht und wir hatten Null Handyempfang.
Die Kaution-Zahlung kann nur auf Anfrage ohne ihren vorgeschlagenen Dritt-Anbieter (der die personenbezogenen Daten an Dritte übergibt) bezahlt werden.
Ich musste die Verwaltungsfirma nach fast 3 Wochen selbst anschreiben, um die Kaution zurück zu bekommen (hatte auch nicht eine E-Mail bekommen, warum die Kaution eventuell behalten wurde).
Sie haben 35,50€ extra verlangt, um die Handtücher nach 7 Tagen zu wechseln (oder 69€, um sie zu waschen), was bei einer Mietdauer von insgesamt 10 Tagen und dem Gesamtmietpreis eigentlich nicht gerechtfertigt ist.
Sie schreiben, dass ein Parkplatz vorhanden ist, aber es gibt 3 Wohnungen, aber nur 2 Parkplätze.
Der Dusch-Abflussfilter verstopft sehr leicht.
An einem Tag, bei einer Reparatur in der Nachbarwohnung, ist der Fachmann unnötig (er hätte sehr gut die Wohnungseingangstür benutzen können) über unsere Terrasse gegangen, was unsere Privatsphäre beeinträchtigt hat.
Die Verwaltungsfirma der Wohnung schickt viel zu viele E-Mails vor dem Aufenthalt (12 E-Mails+ 3 Erklärungsmails), was etwas störend war.

Mas de 50 minutos dando vueltas en una urbanización a medio desarrollar , con casas abandonadas y otras a medio construir , servicio de limpieza nulo en 10 días , ni cambio de toallas , ni sabanas , ni siquiera el papel higiénico , lo mas cercano para tomar un café ... mas de tres kilómetros , muy mal , una gran decepción. Nos dejamos un poco de chocolate encima de la mesa de la cocina y al llegar por la noche teníamos una invasión de hormigas . Los muebles de salón son super incomodos , una pena , unas vacaciones perdidas

Ziemlich viele nervige E-Mails im Vorfeld (bzgl. Kaution, Hausregeln, etc.) Das Personal an der Hotline war sehr nett aber etwas unkoordiniert. Im Schlafzimmer gibt es nicht ein Doppelbett sondern zwei Einzelbetten. Leider gab es pro Bett nur je eine dünne Decke, was für die kühlen Temperaturen im Februar viel zu wenig war. Wir haben dann noch zusätzliche Decken gekauft.

Ausstattung der Wohnung sehr gut, es hat nichts gefehlt. Die Terrasse mit dem Ausblick ist wunderschön.
Wasserdruck ist manchmal nicht ausreichend. Wasserablauf gelegentlich auch schwierig. Habe die Abflüsse selber gereinigt. Danach war der Ablauf etwas besser. Wenn alle drei Wohnungen belegt sind u. die Bäder zeitgleich genutzt werden, muss man halt mal 5-10 min. warten. Dann läuft's 😉

Muito perto da praia e com uma vista fantástica.
Infelizmente as fotografias não representam bem a casa em si e é um valor bastante alto para a qualidade da mesma.
Faltam coisas básicas na cozinha, nota-se que não há preocupação com conforto e necessidades diárias.
A maquina de lavar a loiça estava avariada e não foi utilizada na nossa estadia com receio que a água saisse para fora.
