This recently renovated house is located in the centre of Olhão, a lovely fisherman town near Faro. Your apartment is one of 3 private accommodations inside the building which are all named after one of the main attractions in this area: the nearby located islands Armona, Barreta and Culatra. Your accommodation is private and fully equipped, the patio/terrace areas of the house are shared.
The space
Apartment Barreta is located on the first floor of the house with a private entrance. It includes a well-equipped kitchen with a 2-plate induction hob, microwave, refrigerator and dishwasher. The apartment has WiFi and air conditioning, and the windows allow good ventilation in the summer. The separate bedroom has a large and comfortable double bed. The shower and toilet is separate with the shower being en-suite to the bedroom and the toilet next to the living room.
Guests of the apartment also have access to the spacious, shared roof terrace to catch all those lovely rays of sun!

The neighborhood
Olhão is located next to Faro. It has a lovely and lively old center with a rich history of traditional Portuguese culture. From here you can easily explore both the east, west and inland Algarve but Olhão is perhaps most famous as the access point to the beautiful and peaceful islands of Armona and Culatra by ferry. There are public and private ferry options available and they are located just a couple of minutes walking from the house.
Due to the central location, you will have lots of shops, restaurants and bars to choose from in close vicinity of the apartment. A large supermarket is located at less than 5 minutes walking.
Getting around
You can easily get around on foot or use public transport or a taxi/uber to travel around. If you wish to explore the larger Algarve area, a hire car is recommended. Parking in old town Olhão is for free in most places, except along the waterfront. It can be challenging to find it but usually there will be a spot available close to the apartment.

➤ Check-in time: 16:00-22:00. Check-in after 22:00 at your own risk as support lines might not be available.
➤ Check-out time: before 10am

Etwas schade war, dass zum Beispiel nur ein Spülmaschinentab für die ganze Woche da war. Insgesamt war es angenehm sauber, allerdings sollte man die Klobürste vielleicht ab und an wechseln und in der Wohnung war es extrem feucht. Dadurch ist im Wohzimmer und im Bad Schimmel und die Fenster waren morgens komplett nass angelaufen. Die Klimaanlage hat zwar auch eine Trockenfunktion, das half aber nur kurzfristig. Im Moment war es auch noch recht kalt in der Wohnung. Heizen ging auch über das Klimagerät, allerdings roch das sehr muffig. Deshalb erinnerte es in der Wohnung manchmal eher an tropisches Klima :/ Wir waren trotzdem zufrieden mit unserem Aufenthalt, sind uns aber nicht ganz schlüssig inwiefern wir die Unterkunft empfehlen würden.

Le Check-in autonome est un très bon point lorsque l’arrivée se fait tardivement.
Logement propre et proche de Faro en voiture.
Rentable Valley est également très réactif par message.

Appartamento pulito, con tante cose molto utili all’interno e a farti vivere una bella vacanza.
Zona cucina comoda e zona notte confortante.
Unici piccoli nei il condizionatore non presente in camera e il fatto che il letto sia fatto da due materassi senza topper, un po’ scomodo durante la permanenza.
Ma sono comunque cose secondarie che non ti rovinano per niente l’esperienza.
In sintesi molto soddisfatto della scelta fatta, consiglio a tutti.

Il manquait quelques produits de nécessité (éponge, savon, torchons). L’appartement est simple et efficace si vous passez vos journées à l’extérieur, pas de charme particulier. La terrasse est petite et pas aussi « cosy » que sur les photos.

Le seul bémol, l'escalier métallique, qui est en commun avec les autres locataires qui résonnent dans tout l'appartement.

The space was nice and clean, it's a good position to travel around Algarve region and there are many nice restaurants just 5 minutes walk from the flat.

Já sabia que não tinha uma televisão no apartamento mas deveria ter, portas e janelas da sala deixa o espaço muito aberto não oferece muita privacidade, o barulho o movimento dos outros hospedes dos outros dois apartamentos faz parecer que estão dentro do apartamento a onde eu estava, tive que levantar duas vezes para verificar se havia outra pessoa dentro da casa por vezes parecia que estavam a abrir a porta. O poliban não tem aspecto agradável é escorregadio e asqueroso e estava com muito cabelo no ralo, tivemos um encontro com uma barata no meio da noite no quarto. Acho que certas coisas a melhorar no alojamento para oferecer mais comodidade aos hóspedes.

klein dingetje met de badkamer was in een halve dag opgelost.
alles op loopafstand bereikbaar en heerlijke restaurantjes.

Lediglich einen Parkplatz vor dem Haus zu finden war, wenn man spät nach Hause gekommen ist, etwas nervig.
