This recently renovated house is located in the centre of Olhão, a lovely fisherman town near Faro. Your apartment is one of 3 private accommodations inside the building which are all named after one of the main attractions in this area: the nearby located islands Armona, Barreta and Culatra. Your accommodation is private and fully equipped, the patio/terrace areas of the house are shared.
The space
Studio Culatra is located on the second floor of the house with a private entrance. It includes a well-equipped kitchen with a 2-plate induction hob, microwave, refrigerator and dishwasher. The studio has WiFi and air conditioning, and the windows allow good ventilation in the summer. Sofa unfolds in a comfortable double bed.
Culatra has its own terrace area but note that other guests can pass by this area to get to the roof terrace. Of course, you also have access to the spacious, shared roof terrace to catch all those lovely rays of sun!
The apartment is perfect for a couple or solo travelers.

The neighborhood
Olhão is located next to Faro. It has a lovely and lively old center with a rich history of traditional Portuguese culture. From here you can easily explore both the east, west and inland Algarve but Olhão is perhaps most famous as the access point to the beautiful and peaceful islands of Armona and Culatra by ferry. There are public and private ferry options available and they are located just a couple of minutes walking from the house.
Due to the central location, you will have lots of shops, restaurants and bars to choose from in close vicinity of the apartment. A large supermarket is located at less than 5 minutes walking.
Getting around
You can easily get around on foot or use public transport or a taxi/uber to travel around. If you wish to explore the larger Algarve area, a hire car is recommended. Parking in old town Olhão is for free in most places, except along the waterfront. It can be challenging to find it but usually there will be a spot available close to the apartment.

➤ Check-in time: 16:00-22:00. Check-in after 22:00 at your own risk as support lines might not be available.
➤ Check-out time: before 10am

Bien ubicado en Olhāo aunque tened en cuenta que está localidad está alejada de los mayores puntos de interés del Algarve.
No tenía persianas por lo que entraba mucha luz en la habitación, para nosotros esto fue lo más incómodo ya que incluso por la noche se veía mucho la luz de los otros apartamentos. Eran ventanales amplios con cortinas muy transparentes por lo que apenas habia intimidad. La nevera es muy pequeñita y apenas tiene un congelador que entra una botella pequeña de agua y poco más. La limpieza de los utensilios de cocina podría ser mejor, tuvimos que lavarlo todo antes de usarlo.

Check-in was ok, we received in advance instructions, even if in the day of our arrival there was a misunderstanding between us, but it wasn’t a big problem.
Location was a bit inconvenient: in front of the accommodation there is a house inhabited by drug dealers and drug addicts. Nevertheless we feel quite safe and sunset was amazing from the terrace.

Einzige Nachteile: hellhörig (aber es gibt nur max zwei andere Parteien), es fehlen verdunkelnde Vorhänge für Tür und Innenfenster, daher ist es ab 6h morgens sehr hell. Das wäre einfach abzustellen. Zur Barrierefreiheit: Aufzug ist defekt.

When we arrived, we had some cleanliness issue. The bathroom was full of hair from the last guest ( I think he shaved himself and it was full of hair ), the floor super dirty full of stains of shoes, the kitchen was super oily and the dishes was dirty aswell.
I directly talked to the Host and the customer service. Both were super responsive and they find us a solution fast.
The day after we arrived, they sent us the cleaning team. But it was still a bit dirty, So we had to clean by ourselves.
The apartment is really nice, with everything for a stay of some days. There is a terrace up, with a nice view of all the city.
Except the cleanliness issue which is not acceptable on this kind of rent, everything was perfect. Thanks they were reactive and attentive.

À notre arrivée, le logement était encore sale, crasseux, plein de miettes de nourriture sur la table, beaucoup de poussière épaisse dans tout le studio, et des déchets et des mégots de cigarettes plein le cendrier qui était sur la terrasse.
Il y avait une odeur nauséabonde et insupportable dans la salle de bain. La douche et le lavabo avaient de la moisissure dans les joints. Les murs du logement sont pleins de traces. Dans la cuisine, équipements et couverts sales, frigo minuscule.
Pas de rideaux occultant sur les grandes fenêtres côté cour intérieure, qui donne aussi sur les voisins du dessous. Nous avons très mal dormi.
Le wifi ne marche pas constamment donc pour ceux qui font du télétravail ce n'est pas pratique.
Ce logement qui est soi-disant ''récemment rénové" est en fait mal entretenu, voire presque laissé à l'abandon. Nous y avons passé un mauvais séjour.

The patio was amazing to have breakfast on and the roof terrace gave great views and a great place to sunbathe!
It was a really accessible property and was close to all restaurants/bars on Olhao. Would definitely stay again!

En general, no es una mala ubicación, pero no es exactamente limpio o idealmente cómodo. A la llegada, el estudio no estaba limpio. Concretamente, todos los utensilios de cocina estaban todavía llenos de restos de los anteriores ocupantes. Además, las cortinas no se habían puesto en orden, lo que permitía tanto a los transeúntes mirar hacia dentro como a la luz entrar en la habitación por la mañana.

The company tried to get my card details after I paid through booking.
Even the booking customer service adviced me not to share anything with them.
Check-in process was a nightmare too, they really want you to get in their website.
About the flat :
There was nothing in there, not salt or oil, or shampoo or nothing of the stuff you would expect from a flat with a kitchen where you're going to stay for 3 days. So we end up buying everything and leaving it in there.
