Excellent townhouse in traditional fisherman town with amazing views of the Atlantic Ocean - what more can you wish for?
The space
This townhouse is within a few minutes walking distance of the beautiful blue flag beach of Salema, the fresh fish restaurants and the centre of this quaint village. The property has been refurbished to a high standard and is bright and welcoming!
On the ground floor, you find the living/dining room with doors opening onto the spacious south-facing patio. The outside area is very private and has ample space for sunbathing, and it is perfect for enjoying your Alfresco dining. There is an open-plan kitchen with a microwave, small oven and electric induction hob. The freezer and washing machine are located in the utility room. On the same level, we also find a bathroom with a shower.
A staircase leads to the first floor which has two spacious bedrooms with sea views, and one has a small balcony. There is also a high-quality family bathroom.

The neighborhood
Our holiday home is in Salema, a small village close to Lagos. It is very popular amongst golf lovers, families and nature lovers.
A selection of restaurants & bars allows you to explore local and international food. We recommend trying fresh fish and seafood dishes! There is a supermarket 4 minutes away by car. Like Burgau and Praia da Luz, other beaches are just a short drive away. So whether you want to relax, go for a surf or enjoy a fantastic hike in nature, Budens is the place. And if you crave city life at some point, Lagos is only 20 minutes away.
Getting around
You can reach Salema in about one hour by car from Faro Airport. By public transport, it will take about 4 to 5 hours. There are various taxi and shared shuttle options available as well.
You can easily reach the beach and Salema town on foot. But f you want to explore the area, a (rental) car will make your life much easier as public transport is limited.
Parking is free everywhere in this area.

➤ Check-in time: 16:00-22:00. Late arrivals are possible but at your own risk as our service desk might not be available after 22:00.
➤ Check-out time: before 10 am

les points positifs :
-logement propre.
-vue magnifique.
-proximité de la plage et des endroits d'intérêt.
les points negatifs :
- les deux lits dans de la deuxième chambre grincent comme pas possible rendant le sommeil difficile 🫤.
- le canapé est trop petit 😐 pour un logement de 4 personnes, ils suffit a peine a deux personnes. il faudrait prevoir un canapé d angle plus grand.
- les ustensiles de cuisines sont assez sommaires et pas du tout digne d une maison louée a presque 170euros la nuit.
- Odeur assez désagréable qui se dégagent de la salle de bain 🤢.
Nous avons rencontré un problème, la porte d'entrée est restée bloquée 😶 cependant l'hote a été reactif et a réparé en 24h le problème. ça nous a tout de même coûté une journée de vacance mais soit.
en résumé le logement nécessite un réel investissement de la part du propriétaire et de l'entretien.

We could reach the beach in a few minutes on foot and spent lots of days there. There are a number of restaurants in walking distance but only a few small shops. The next big supermarket was 5 minutes by car.
We can highly recommend this apartment.

Die Dusche in Erdgeschoss war kaputt und sehr dreckig, die Dusche in oberen Geschoss war ebenfalls dreckig und das Spiegel Licht war auch kaputt auch die Halterung für Handtücher hinter der Tür in der Oberen Dusche ist Kaputt!!! Die Küche war klebrig und der Überzug am den Blauensofa kann man mal waschen BITTE!!! Man hat uns ständig belästigt wegen der kaputte Dusche!!! Wir hatten trotzdem einen schönen Urlaub gehabt und kommen wieder, aber nicht in dieser Ferienhaus!!!! Für 2100€ 14 Tage Nur Abgezockt!!! LG Anna und Thomas

Die Betten im 2. Schlafzimmer sind leider sehr unbequem und knarzen laut. Das große Bett ist dafür sehr bequem!
Es fehlt außerdem ein Staubsauger zur Reinigung des Bodens! Nach 9 Tagen reicht es eben nicht mehr mit dem kleinen Besen zu kehren! Ebenso fehlt es an Gewürzen, Öl, Mülltüten, Küchentücher, Küchenschwamm, Waschmittel und Spültabs und Kaffeekapseln. Die Hausverwaltung teilte mit, dass dies nicht inkludiert sei, was sehr schade ist, da ich nicht vor hatte einen ganzen Haushalt einzurichten!

A few minor issues:
-No toiletries, except hand soap in the bathrooms. Bring your own!
-Comforter on full bed not wide enough to cover two people. We had to bring in a comforter from one of the twin beds.
- Upstairs toilet did not flush well. We used mainly the downstairs toilet.
-Shower heads were partly clogged- so water shot out sides of shower head.

well, it was like staying at construction site: a neighboring apartment was being renovated and they were hammering and hammer drilling during 4 out of 6 days of our stay. This house should not have been rented out! No possibility of relaxing during the day.

Alles war tadellos sauber und bereit für unsere Ankunft.
Das spektakuläre ist der Blick von der Terrasse und vom Wohnzimmer aus.
Alles war da und wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.
Die RentalValley hat sich immer und schnell um alle Fragen gekümmert und war ausgesprochen hilfreich.
Insgesamt also alles toll - sehr zu empfehlen!

For two days the house one door up had jack hammers going from 0900-1700. The noise was excessive which we recorded and shared with the letting agency contact. We wanted to understand why they are not aware of such planned work (notice was published on property) if known we would not have booked. The answer from the agent was "Enjoy your stay". Waste of space we just couldn't stay in the property during the day. I do not blame the owners as this is the letting agency issue of not managing the property environment.
