The neighborhood
The townhouse is located in a calm neighbourhood at the entrance of Sagres town. The house is 400 m from the Intermarché supermarket; 400m from the restaurant "Meridian"; the surf shop 400 m; the bicycle rental shop 400 m; 1000m from the centre of Sagres (Pharmacy, Market, shops, restaurants, bars, health centre, post office, etc.)
Getting around
There are several buses a day going to and from Sagres (the nearest bus stop at 100 m from the bus stop (Sagres- Sítio do Poço), but to get around,d a hire car is recommended. You can park one car in the private parking spot in front of the house. Further shared parking spots are available.
By car, it's 15 km to the "Golf Santo António" course, 30 km to Lagos, 50 km to the "Slide & Splash" water park, 90 km to Faro airport, 350 km to Lisbon airport and 350 km to Seville.

Sie ist ziemlich heruntergekommen und nicht wirklich sauber gewesen.
Der Grill hat ein Loch, eine Fliese am Pool ist zerbrochen (barfuß sehr gefährlich!), Lampenschirme sind durchlöchert, Babymatratze voller Flecken, keine Halterung für den Duschkopf vorhanden, die Toilettenbürste ist schon gelb, überall Flecken auf dem Sofa & den Stühlen, dreckige Küchengeräte.
Überall sind starke Abnutzungsspuren zu finden.
Wir waren froh, nur 3 Nächte dort verbracht zu haben. An sich ist das Haus wirklich toll, wenn es in einem guten Zustand gewesen wäre.
Die Lage ist in Ordnung, man ist mit dem Auto schnell am Strand und im Inneren von Sagres.
Es ist außerdem hellhörig. Im hinteren Schlafzimmer konnte man die Nachbarn sehr deutlich hören.
Wir können diese Unterkunft definitiv NICHT weiterempfehlen. Sie braucht eine Renovierung!

The furnishings are quite minimal and feel like the most budget-friendly options were used throughout. The shower head holder was either broken or missing, and there was no shelf for shampoo in the shower. The walls are quite thin, there were some ant nests on the terrace, and the couch and bedding weren’t particularly comfortable.
That said, the host responded very quickly and fixed both the internet and the broken shower head, which we really appreciated.
If I could, I’d give 3.5 stars – the place is fine for a short stay if cleanliness and location are your main priorities. But for longer stays or guests who value comfort and a cozy atmosphere, it might not be the best fit.

Die Wohnung liegt nah der der Hauptstraße, so dass es nicht wirklich ruhig ist.

The dishwasher is a bit strange. While it cleans the cups and plates, it seems to leave them dry and slightly damaged. Additionally, when you book for 1 week there is not enough toilet paper or dishwashing soap provided from the rental company. The first aid kit was also missing many essential supplies, however the rental company promised to stak it up.

Nous avons eu un peu de mal à trouver l’emplacement du logement car difficultés de visibilité avec le GPS. L’équipe a été très réactive afin de nous aider ! Tout s’est très bien passé.
À noter qu’il est à notre sens, nécessaire d’être véhiculé pour pouvoir profiter des environs voire même pour accéder sans problème au logement.

Situated on the way into Sagres it’s a very easy drive to all the main attractions Sagres has to offer and it’s a lovely town with great restaurants / cafes and a really relaxed vibe. Our favourites - 3 little birds, Laundry lounge and picnic.
Overall a nice stay.

Schönes Haus - schöner Garten/ Pool / Terrasse.
Ausstattung war gut - leider funktioniert bei uns die Kaffeemaschine nicht und die Duschköpfe haben definitiv auch schon bessere Zeiten gesehen.
Leider war die Mängel Beseitigung nicht direkt möglich.
Es wurde angeboten das sich jemand in ein paar Tagen drum kümmern - aber wir warnen nur ein paar Tage Vorort - So das wir uns da auch nicht mehr mit aufgehalten haben - paar Tage geht auch mal mit Pulverkaffee.
Allerdings war die Kommunikation da nicht so gut.
Ansonsten tolles Haus - würden wir wieder buchen.

Había una invasión de moscas increíble, yo creo que es por los contenedores que están a la entrada.
A nuestra llegada la piscina estaba sucia y tardaron 5 días en limpiarla.
Los cubiertos y utensilios de cocina estaban sucios.
La barbacoa estaba completamente rota y sucia.
La ducha del baño grande estaba completamente atascada de pelos.
No hay lavadora!

Las camas son muy muy cómodas, espacio amplio y confortable.
Lastima de estos pequeños defectos que deslucen la calidad del establecimiento.
Por último hay un pequeño inconveniente que son las moscas diminutas que entran durante el día, tuvimos que comprar spray porque es bastante desagradable sin embargo no creo que se pueda hacer nada.
La ubicación es perfecta y como sugerencia estaría bien que la piscina se pudiera climatizar.

A vila não era localizada no Martinhal, mas sim, na entrada de Sagres, ao contrário do que é indicado. As louças disponibilizadas na cozinha não eram suficientes. As regras da casa eram claramente exageradas, foi-nos pedido uma caução de 300,00€ que só nos foi comunicada após o período de cancelamento e após termos feito o pagamento total. Após reclamação tivemos de enviar um termo de responsabilidade, sendo esta situação abusiva e de má-fé. Durante a nossa estadia colocaram regras adicionais na piscina, que na realidade não usámos devido à sua pequena dimensão que mais parecia um tanque. Tínhamos indicações expressas nas regras que só poderíamos utilizar os utensílios próprios do grelhador, que estava completamente carbonização e sem possível utilização. Com tantas regras, quando chegámos, tínhamos loiça suja no lava-loiça. Certamente, uma experiência a não repetir!

Some things were not to our liking though. Couch had stains on it and the floors weren’t clean. We also were not able to get extra bath towels or pillows, despite our requests. Also, certain things like beach towels are not provided, which was slightly upsetting especially since it’s a beach town. The unit is also not in the heart of town, and it’s a minimum 5 minute drive to the closest beach.
Despite all that, we were still able to enjoy our stay in Sagres :)
