The space
Dutch tradition and modern living come together in our Volendam Old Bridge Residence. Your stylishly decorated private room with private ensuite bathroom is located in a guesthouse with six private rooms in total. All our rooms are modern and light and have a comfortable large double bed and a luxury ensuite bathroom. Each room has coffee and tea facilities.
The guesthouse is located right next to the famous Volendam harbour. Just walk out of the front door and you will be in the middle of everything this traditional Dutch town has to offer. Supermarkets and other shops are just a few minutes walk away.

The neighborhood
Volendam is famous for the traditional Dutch folklore that is still very visible here. Although majority of it is now catered towards tourism, you should not be surprised to see locals pass by in traditional dress and fishing is still a big part of the income for this community.
You will be able to enjoy this folklore while visiting the harbour, the museums and churches.
From Volendam it is only a short way to Amsterdam and Alkmaar if you want to enjoy some city life and to other smaller Dutch towns that are located on the Markemeer and Ijsselmeer lakes such as Marken, Enkhuizen and Hoorn. Or how about a day trip to one of the Dutch islands? It is the perfect location to experience many of the aspects that Dutch culture has to offer.
Getting around
From Schiphol, take the train to Amsterdam Central Station. From Amsterdam Central Station there is a direct bus to Volendam that take about 30 minutes and goes regularly from early morning to late evening.

Não é um hotel, muito menos um boutique hotel. Sem recepção, só uma porta na rua e uma escada perigosa e íngreme para ter acesso aos quartos. Entrei no quarto com o código que me enviaram para o email, relaxei uns minutos e usei o WC. Deixei as malas e mochilas no quarto e saí para dar uma volta...quando cheguei cerca depois de jantar, as minhas malas e mochilas estavam no chão do corredor, entregues à sorte de todos os que ali passavam. Eu nem conseguia acreditar!! Minhas malas no corredor?? Nunca me aconteceu isso em lugar nenhum do mundo…uma atitude de total ausência de confiança e sem nenhum respeito com os hóspedes??? Minha avaliação só pode ser péssima!!! Um absurdo! Entrei no quarto com o código que o alojamento enviou por email, deixei as minhas malas dentro do quarto e quando cheguei umas horas depois, as minhas malas estavam no chão do corredor, entregue à sorte de todos os que ali passavam. Nem queria acreditar!! Alguém entrou no meu quarto, um quarto que eu já tinha entrado, usado e deixado as minhas malas e retirou-as!!! Um autêntico absurdo!! Uma falta total de confiança e de segurança. Nunca me aconteceu isso em lugar nenhum do mundo. E sei que era esse o meu quarto pois eu tinha o código da porta enviado por email pela própria gestão da propriedade e abri-o para deixar as malas!!! E retiram-nas sem o meu conhecimento e sem a minha autorização?? E deixam-nas no chão do corredor?? Péssimo!! Nem tenho palavras!! Um choque chegar e ver as minhas malas e mochilas no chão do corredor!! Um choque!!! Uma falta de confiança!! Dormi num outro quarto depois de ter telefonado para vários números de telefone e apenas um atendeu e disse-me apenas que o quarto a mim atribuído era outro. E só não fui embora pois já era tarde para conduzir. E tive que dormir com uma cadeira a trancar a porta pois já não conseguia confiar que estava segura. Um horror!!! Uma péssima experiência!!!

Logement impeccable et très bien situé mais comme il est au dessus d’un bar ( précisé dans l’annonce) il est resté bruyant très tôt sur le matin. Bon échange et correspond totalement au descriptif de l’annonce Pour se garer il existe un parking gratuit tout le temps vers le loueur de vélo 😃

Não é um hotel tradicional, pois não tem recepção e você não tem contato com ninguém. Mas todas as informações necessárias são fornecidas por e-mail ou estão no quarto. A localização é excelente e o quarto é agradável, bem limpo e com tudo novinho. Tem máquina de café e água mineral no quarto e a cama e o chuveiro são excelentes. A desvantagem é a escada, extremamente pequena e íngreme. No comment

De kamer was zo gezellig en smaakvol ingericht , super netjes allemaal. Fijn dat er thee, koffie en zelfs flesjes water stonden. Ook de badkamer van alles voorzien . Gehorig. Maar wij zaten in een rustige periode daar, dus dat scheelde enorm. (Zondagavond en geen vakantie )

Camera piccola ma bene arredata. Posizione ottima, molto centrale. Bagno ampio e spazioso con prodotti di cortesia di qualità. Self check in molto semplice e veloce. Macchinetta del caffè e cialde a disposizione, tè ed acqua. Non c'erano comodini ai lati del letto. Non c'erano sedie, ma solo una poltrona. Poche prese. Le scale per raggiungere la camera erano ripidissime e molto molto strette: non è stato agevole salire e scendere con i bagagli al seguito.

Mooie kamer op goede locatie
Goede bedden en prima douche. Erg steile trap omhoog, niet schikt als je slecht ter been bent.
In weekend erg veel lawaai van de omliggende cafe's.
Alhoewel er rookverbod is in het gehele pand, hangt er wel een rooklucht.

La cittadina di pescatori di Volendam è meravigliosa, la posizione della struttura è ottima, a pochi passi dal lungomare e porticciolo della cittadina. La stanza nella struttura era comoda ed accogliente, abbiamo apprezzato la presenza della macchinetta che ha permesso di farci un te e un caffe in cialde. l'orario per il check-in era dopo le ore 15 e questo era un po' un problema perchè la mia permanenza era di un solo giorno.
Ammetto che la colpa era completamente mia che non avevo letto con sufficiente attenzione le istruzioni che mi sono state inviate dopo la prenotazione. L'host è stato comunque molto gentile dandomi tutte le informazioni necessarie. Nel mio caso sono stato comunque fortunato perchè sono riuscito a lasciare i bagagli in camera per poter visitare i dintorni per tornare quindi all'ora corretta, tuttavia il mio è stato un caso fortunato e quindi consiglio di mettersi d'accordo con il proprietario per esigenze particolari.

Chambre avec thé/café/sucres/bouteilles d'eau + salle de bain contenant des minis kits de toilette !
Très bien dormi ! Il n'y a pas d'accueil physique, les consignes sont transmises par mails avant l'arrivée, pensez à aller les lire !

Die Zimmer waren schön und sauber. Die Lage ist was für Partyjunkies. Jeden Abend bis in die Nacht maximaler Lärm aus den Kneipen unter dem Hotelfenster. Offenes Fenster ging gar nicht. Oropax war überfordert. Der Parkplatz ist 20 Minuten fußläufig vom Hotel entfernt. Nur was für Leute, die abends auf die Partymeile wollen.
