Die Unterkunft war 1A gelegen direkt am Meer. Die Beschreibung stimmte auch weitestgehend. Ein genereller Kritikpunkt für alle Unterkünfte, die ich in Portugal besucht habe bleibt stehen: Die Fotos sind offensichtlich vom Neuzustand der Unterkunft gemacht worden. Tatsächlich waren Türen von Schubläden abgebrochen, Wasserleitungen/Dichtungen im Bad undicht und insgesamt die Unterkunft einige Jahre alt. Das ist alles in Ordnung und tollerierbar, es ist aber nicht fair diese Dinge nicht zu erwähnen. M.E. ist das eine Gegebenheit die länderspezifisch zu beobachten ist. Bspw. in Schweden (im letzten Jahr) entsprachen die Unterkünfte exakt der Beschreibung. Wenn etwas älter war, stand es dabei, wenn etwas nagelneu war ebenso. Ich finde es wichtig dies im Vorfeld deutlich zu sagen. Das ist nur fair. Leider geht dies aus den vorangegangenen Bewertungen nicht hervor.

Sehr schönes kleines Häuschen (cottage) in kleiner Anlage. Perfekt und ruhig gelegen, um die Algarve zwischen Lagos und Sagres zu erkunden. Manche Möbel sind vielleicht erneuerungswürdig, ganz kleine Reparaturen auch ausstehend, was aber den schönen Gesamteindruck nicht trübt. Wir haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen und können die Unterkunft empfehlen.

The apartment is spacious and equipped enough to ensure a comfortable stay. Enough space for things and relaxation. Comfortable beds. Kitchen with sufficient equipment, we did not complain about the lack of something. The owner is very nice and polite, offers advice about the area and available attractions. The decor of the apartment may be a bit old-fashioned, but the furniture is comfortable and functional. The bathroom is quite large, and probably requires a slight modernization and cleaning of some nooks and crannies. However, overall our stay was pleasant and we didn't really complain about the quality and the rental price is very reasonable. A convenient place to park the vehicle next to the apartment. It's a bit outside the village and you might need a car for shopping or going to the beach.

Wirklich ein sehr tolles Apartment. Sehr gemütlich. Es war eine sehr gut ausgestattete Küche vorhanden. Das Pool teilt man mit anderen , aber es ist sehr groß und immer ruhig. Es war alles sehr sauber. Die Kommunikation war sehr schnell und hilfreich. Wir würden auf jeden Fall nochmal hinfahren!

Positive: Era un lugar alejado del bullicio que era lo que buscábamos. La casa preciosa. Cocina con todo lo necesario, muy útil si vas con niños pequeños. Un patio delantero muy acogedor con barbacoa, hamacas, una mesa preciosa y ducha Negative: Los accesorios del baño necesitan renovación. Son demasiado viejos y oxidados.

Nuestra estancia en este alojamiento ha sido increíble. La casa es tal cual se ve en las fotos y tienes todo lo necesario para que la estancia sea perfecta. Utilizamos mucho la terraza para desayunar comer y cenar (eso sí, recomiendo llevar repelente de mosquitos) y también la parrilla para varias comidas. La piscina estaba genial, fuimos con un peque de 3 años y la disfrutamos muchísimo. La zona es muy tranquila y tiene muy cerca un supermercado continente donde puedes hacer la compra necesaria. Además, está cerca de lagos y de varias playas maravillosas. La comunicación fue buenísima en todo momento, ya que tuvimos un pequeño problema con la ducha y con una sartén y lo arreglaron muy rápido. Ya estamos planeando las próximas vacaciones para ver si podemos repetir destino y alojamiento. Un 10!! Gracias por todo kiki!!

Positive: Boa localização com facil acesso e estacionamento para a viatura Negative: A enorme "população" de mosquitos e melgas existentes no interior da casa não permitirão uma única noite de descanso a toda a família. O facto de não ter um simples pequeno almoço também não é comodo, pois é sempre necessário realizar uma deslocação com viatura.

Großzügigste cottage in einer perfekten Lage zwischen Burgau und luz . Kiki war super freundlich und immer zu Stelle. Dafür definitiv 5 Sterne. Jedoch ist das cottage etwas in die Jahre gekommen, insbesondere das Bad. Aber für den Preis auf jeden Fall empfehlenswert. Der Pool ist ferner gut gesichert , damit keine Kinder in diesem fallen können.

Great location! You do need a car. Beautiful quiet setting close to the walking trails. Centrally located between Burgau and Praia de Luz. It was a perfect place to relax and rest as we had been traveling Portugal and Spain for 8 weeks.

Très bon séjour, dans un endroit calme et reposant. La région est très belle. Maison bien placée pour visiter. Il a fait très beau, pourtant en Mars. Jolie terrasse avec Barbecue. Vous pouvez aller à pieds jusqu'aux falaises qui surplombent la mer, et y marcher jusqu'au village par les sentiers. Niels est très discret, bien qu'il habite juste à côté. Il répond très vite aux questions posées. Dans la chambre, nous aurions préféré un lit de 160 ou 180 (plutôt que 2 lits de 90 collés, mais c'est un choix personnel, cela plait à certains). Nous sommes très satisfaits de notre séjour.

Positive: Local tranquilo e perto das praias. Casa com boas condições, ter acesso à piscina partilhada foi uma mais valia para a nossa família. Positive: Es war sehr schön, die Besitzer und Brian mit seiner Freundin waren sehr nett und hilfsbereit! Die Besitzer selbst haben uns für die Kinder Spielzeug/Fahrzeuge gegeben, was natürlich super war! Die Lage ist super und man ist in Kürze an den schönsten Stränden der Algarve! Negative: Leider gibt es nur eine Klimaanlage im Wohnzimmer! Im Schlafzimmer wurden wir leider von Moskitos aufgefressen und es war sehr warm aufgrund der fehlenden Klimaanlage!

Nice little place with a good pool that is child safe and that my children love. Great bbq/outdoor eating area also. We have stayed here a few times before and would definitely go back as it’s perfect location for us, although it may be just a bit far out of you didn’t have a car.

Die Quinta ist ein sehr schöner Ort zum Urlaub machen. Wir haben alles sehr sauber und gut ausgestattet vorgefunden. Den Besitzer der Unterkunft haben wir nicht persönlich kennengelernt. Vor Ort waren aber Bryan und Manouk, die sich um alles sehr gewissenhaft und liebevoll gekümmert haben. Von ihnen haben wir Tipps für Restaurants und Surfspots bekommen. Das kleine Häuschen ist als Unterkunft sehr zu empfehlen. Die Einrichtung ist schick und man hat viel Platz, denn die Räume sind wirklich großzügig geschnitten. Wir waren mit unserem 2 jährigen Sohn da und hatten eine entspannte Zeit. Babybett und Hochstuhl waren vorhanden, selbst der Pool ist mit einem Zaun gesichert. Ende September/ Anfang Oktober ist eine sehr gute Reisezeit für diese Gegend, denn es ist noch warm, aber die Strände sind nicht überfüllt. Leider bekommt man nicht viel von Portugal mit, denn die Region ist komplett auf Touristen ausgelegt.

We were well received by Bryan and Manouk. The apartment was very well equipped, we liked the flowery and quiet patio, the kids liked the pool. We enjoyed the 20 minutes walk on the pathways by the cliffs, arriving at the beach and restaurants in Burgau. Many beaches at short driving distance, whether one likes busy or quiet ones.

Geweldig ruime cottage, apart van het huis, met alles wat je nodig hebt. Zelfs een Nespresso apparaat. De buitenplaats heeft ligbedden en zon tot ongeveer een uur of 4-5 (voorjaar). En een bbq! Zomers kun je gebruik maken van het prachtige en sfeervol gelegen zwembad, achter het grote huis. Zeer stil. Ligging is ideaal om allerlei kustplaatsjes te bezoeken en je kunt een prachtige wandeling langs de rotskust doen lopend vanuit het huis. Wij vonden het een heel fijn appartement en kunnen het iedereen aanbevelen. Viv en Niels zijn perfecte hosts en zijn zeer gastvrij met veel goeie insider tips.

Super netter Empfang. Es ist immer jemand da, falls man etwas braucht. Die Anlage ist super sauber, der Pool immer aufgeräumt. Unser Zimmer war recht kühl gelegen, ansonsten konnte man auch die Klimaanlage anmachen. Das einzige, was gefehlt hat war eine Spülmaschine :-) Aber das ist natürlich meckern auf höchstem Niveau. Also absolut zu empfehlen!

Very lovely stay
We liked the welcome of Manouk and Bryan! At our arrival everything was very well taken care off, the cottage is nice and quiet. However the booking process was a little bit of a hassle with different contact persons. The kitchen is well equipped and we liked the bbqThe walk to Burgau beach is a good 30 min walk and very beautiful! If we come back to the Algarve we would definitely book the Quinta again.

Perfect relaxing stay
Cottage was perfect with a baby - everything we needed for a self-catered holiday and we had our own space in the evenings when baby had gone to bed in the cot kindly provided. Outside area was spacious but shaded so baby could enjoy being outside and we enjoyed a few BBQs in our lovely BBQ and dining area. Bryan and Manouk looked after us very well and Niels and Viv were brilliant hosts. Perfect location for getting out in the car each day to explore different bits of the beautiful coast!

Beautiful place
Not easy to satisfy a family with two young children (5 and 1 year old), but we have loved our stay. We have been welcomed by Manouk and Bryan. Both taked care of us with many nice attention, good advise and provided everything we needed during our stay (baby bed, baby chair, etc.). The cottage, and the quinta are like in the photos, beautiful, peaceful, with a lot of space. The swimming pool was perfect for all of us as it goes deeper and deeper. And we really enjoyed the BBQ. For the location, two beaches are very closed to the quinta. And, for other spots to visit, we were not far from all of them (for instance, Odeceixe is at less than 1 hour by car, praia da marinha or benagil 45 minutes...). For sure, we recommend Quinta da Libertade.

Nice dutch couple, excellent service. Super clean and beautiful interior. Very equipped cottage especially for kids and in the kitchen. Such as a babychair, babycot, toys, bathtub, washing machine and dryer, blender, milkfoam tool, an oven and bbq and an outside tap to rinse your wetsuit. Many pots and pans all you need to feel really at home. Made super safe for kids, for example the fench around the swimming pool and a little fench in front of the cottage’s patio. We had a super good en very comfortable stay! Loved it!!
