The space
We are happy to share our lovingly decorated 2 bedroom, 2 bath house in the small community of Altos de Raposeira with you while we are away! The house is perfect for families, couples or small groups who want to spend their holidays away from the crowds, but close enough to everything the south-west Algarve has to offer. From restaurants and nightlife to stunning beaches and great waves.
This new two story house offers you:
- 2 bedrooms + 1 sofa-bed in living room
- 2 bathrooms + 1 extra WC
- Living and separate fully equipped kitchen
- Small garden and balconies with incredible ocean views

The neighborhood
Raposeira - Is one of the places in the south-western Algarve where Prince Henry the Navigator lived.
You are spoilt for choice when it comes to the 16 beaches, all within a 5-15 minute drive away. There are also several supermarkets to get fresh supplies from within this timeframe. With a plethora of restaurants to chose from, your taste buds will embrace the authentic Portugese food & Algarve specialities.
Altos de Raposeira is a small, growing community right behind the town of Raposeira. Here, you will be away from the crowds, and surrounded by nature without feeling completely isolated. Raposeira town, with some lovely local shops and restaurants is close by and some of the most beautiful beaches of the Algarve are only a short drive away. By car you will reach the nearest big supermarket within 5 minutes. Surf town Sagres is only 10 minutes away and beach town Lagos and another selection of amazing beaches can be reached in 15-25 minutes.
This area is the perfect getaway for families who are looking for tranquility but don't want to go too far off the beaten track. It is also ideal for hikers, surfers and other (water)sport lovers. Golf resorts just around the corner.
Getting around
From Faro Airport Raposeira can be reached in 75 minutes by car and in between 4-5 hours by public transport.
The best way to travel the Algarvarian coast is by boat or car. If you really want to explore the area, a (rental) car will make your life a whole lot easier as public transport is limited but will also get you around. There are buses going from Lagos and Sagres as well that stop in Raposeira.

ℹ SEF REQUIREMENTS. All property owners in Portugal have a legal requirement to report tourists’ and guests information to Serviço de Estrangeiros e Fronteiras (known for short as, SEF). To comply with legal requirements, from a week before arrival we shall send to you a link to our SEF form for you to complete and send back to us prior to your arrival. It is mandatory requirement.

Cancelation policy
Free cancellation up to 14 day(s) before arrival, then 100% cancellation fee.
Guest can cancel free of charge up to 14 days before arrival. After this date 100% of the total booking amount is due. Cleaning and linen fees will be refunded to the guest in case of cancellation within 14 of arrival. We strongly advise to take cancellation insurance for your trip to avoid possible financial damage.

First of all we had an issues with the price as during the booking process it showed that deposit is included in the price but it was not. That is rather not the problem by Casa Kama but be careful what you pay for.
Moreover we did not like the location at the end. It is indeed on the hill with nice view but this area is far from everywhere and in very windy place (more than the others), clouds are often very low and it can be quite foggy due to that even during high summer season. If you visit Sagres you know what I mean. If you are surfer it is perhaps nice place to be but for just staying in Algarve I would rather choose other place next time. We were other 5 days during our stay in Algarve close to Lagos and we saw the difference. Moreover apartment next to Casa Kama is also rented and we had a badluck that the people there were partying a lot so a lot of noise quite late in the evening. If you want to relax in the evening enjoying the view you could forget that.

Wir wollten eine ruhige Zeit mit gutem Wetter und Stand haben und genau das haben wir erhalten.
Von der Unterkunft erreicht man mit dem Auto in 10 Minuten traumhafte Strände. Und die Strände in der Nähe sind nicht so voll wie die Strände in Lagos oder anderen touristischen Orten.
Supermärkte und Restaurants sind mit den Wagen auch alle gut erreichbar.
In der Wohnung ist alles was man benötigt und noch mehr. Super ausgestattete Küche mit Spül- und Waschmaschine.
Und auch sonst fehlt es an nichts.
Einfach ein Wohlfühlort...

Das Haus liegt etwas abseits der nächsten Ortschaft, dafür ist es ruhig. Die Gegend ist perfekt für Ausflüge in alle Regionen der Algarve. Wir haben unsere Urlaubswoche sehr genossen.

Van het huis niets, alles prima. Maar na het boeken bij booking.com kwamen we nog in een omslachtige administratieve toestand terecht met oa borgstelling met tussenpersoon Rental Valley. We hebben vaak geboekt via Booking maar dit was de eerste keer dat we dit meemaakte.
De sleuteloverdracht en informatie was overigens wel gewoon goed verzorgd hoor en de borg kregen we terug volgens afspraak maar nogmaals, even omslachtig.
