Make yourself at home in our bright and inviting 1-bedroom apartment, located in the heart of Luz. Just 2 minutes from the beach and surrounded by charming cafes, shops, and supermarkets, this apartment puts you right where you want to be. Whether you're looking to catch an early surf session or enjoy a peaceful stroll along the shore, everything is just steps away. After your adventures, end the day with a sundowner on the shared rooftop terrace, offering stunning views over the ocean. t’s the perfect spot for a group of friends looking to relax and explore.
As you enter this 1st-floor apartment you’ll find closet space straight ahead. To the right is the kitchen, ready for you to prepare your favorite meals. To the left of the kitchen, the bathroom is equipped with a toilet and shower. Moving straight ahead, you’ll step into the living/dining/sleeping area, featuring 2 single beds, a couch, and a dining table. This space opens up to the south-facing balcony, ideal for soaking up the sunshine. Don't forget the huge shared rooftop terrace with panoramic views over Luz Bay. I
For comfort, the living area is equipped with an AC unit and electric heaters on the wall, ensuring a pleasant atmosphere throughout your stay.

The neighborhood
Luz is a quaint little holiday getaway along the Algarvian coastline. Shops, bars and restaurants and a beautiful beach are right on your doorstep. Set amidst spectacular coastal scenery you can take your time to explore the stunning cliffs, undiscovered beaches, neighbouring quaint villages and the national park. It’s just a 15-minute drive to the regional capital, Lagos, if you want a bit more action.
Lagos is the perfect holiday destination with a lively historical center full of shops, (super)markets, a marina, bars and restaurants. It is known for its cliffs and we highly recommend a boat, kayak or SUP tour to see them from the water. The town has a picturesque historical center, great food and friendly people. As it is located on the coast you can enjoy several watersports activities such as surfing and sailing. There are many activities for all ages and preferences in this area.
Getting around
You can reach Lagos in about one hour by car from Faro Airport and car rental is available in the parking lot of the airport. By train it will take about 2,5 to 3 hours.
Lagos has a train station (for travel towards Faro, Lisbon and Porto) and a bus station (for buses towards the west-side of the south coast) but do note that buses and trains only go a few times per day. You can easily get around without a car and there are plenty of taxis and Ubers available, but if you really want to explore the area surrounding Lagos, a (rental) car will make your life a whole lot easier.
Free public parking nearby. Parking in front of the apartment is not always possible in summer, but there will be plenty of space in the surrounding streets.

Guest can cancel free of charge up to 14 days before arrival. After this date, 100% of the total booking amount is due. Cleaning fees will be refunded to the guest in case of cancellation within 14 days of arrival. We strongly advise taking cancellation insurance for your trip to avoid possible financial loss.

Die Ausstattung ließ keine Wünsche offen. Seife, Shampoo, Waschmittel etc. In der Küche alle notwendigen Geräte vorhanden.
Die Wohnung liegt auch sehr zentral, in Fußweite sind Restaurants und der Strand. Malerisches Städtchen.
Wir haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen!

The great latitude restaurant and it's wonderful crew below was a blessing, never a noise factor.
I spent 10 weeks in mariner #4 and never regretted a minute of that.

Die Küche war super ausgestattet und insgesamt war die Unterkunft sauber. Jedoch sollte man sich ein eigenes Bettlaken mitnehmen.. ist etwas angenehmerer als das was dort war.
Ansonsten waren wir sehr sehr zufrieden.

with our supper and wine there was neither a corkscrew nor bottle opener. Toilet seat was loose and the plug in the basin did not work. A parasol on the balcony would have been a distinct advantage. When our Internet went down Rental Valley was
quick to respond with a solution. Despite a few minor niggles we enjoyed what the apartment had to offer

Attenzione: sia qualcuno prima di noi sia noi abbiamo acquistato un ombrellone da spiaggia lasciato in casa a causa del volo aereo; NON COMPRATELO, lo trovate nell’appartamento.
Pulizia non ottimale; potrebbero fornire capsule caffè/spugne pulite per lavare i piatti e sacchetti per la spazzatura.

- Hygienetechnisch war es nicht wirklich gut - unsauberes Geschirr und etwas dreckige Toilette etc.
- Ansonsten Kleinigkeiten wie nicht funktionierende Wanduhr, kaputter Toaster etc.
- nicht alle angegebenen Haushaltsmittel etc. waren verfügbar
- kurzer Weg zum Strand war toll
- lautes Restaurant im EG - hat uns persönlich aber nicht gestört, Fischgeruch aber etwas störend
Insgesamt nicht verkehrt, aber Preis-Leistung entsprechend nicht das Beste.

Die Ausstattung wich von den Angaben der Buchung ab. Deutlich schlechtere Betten, in unserem Fall statt einem versprochenem französischen Doppelbett, zwei getrennte Feldbetten wie bei der Bundeswehr. Bei 7 Nächten in der gleichen Unterkunft erachte ich das Bett als das Wichtigste!
Die Küchenutensilien waren überwiegend schmutzig und mussten vor erstmaliger Benutzung eigenständig gespült werden. Es vergeht einem beim Anblick schmutzigen Geschirrs der Appetit und die Lust, selbst zu kochen! Aus welchem Grund zahle ich als Gast die Endreinigung?
Aufgrund des Self-CheckIns bei Problemen wie o. g. keine Ansprechpartner vor Ort. Uns wurde lediglich eine Entschädigung von 80,- der gezahlten 781,50 Euro angeboten. Immerhin, aber meiner Meinung nach zu wenig. In diesem Fall hat man lediglich für die gute Lage gezahlt.

If we had a question there were answering right away.
It’s a beautiful location 2 minutes walk to the beach and a lot of really good restaurants.
If you take a Uber your within 10 minutes in Lagos and from there you can do everything. We were doing a kajactour to ponta da piedade and it was one of the best things we were doing there. You can also do a lot of other boat tours,snorkeling, surfing etc. so there’s something for everyone.
Also the city is really beautiful with much of restaurants, bars, shops, street musicians and more.
So I would defenetly go there a second time.

The property was small with twin beds, dresser, aged leather couch and table for eating all located in the same narrow room. The view of the Atlantic was obscured by the apartments in front of the balcony. If you were tall or stood up you could view the ocean.
