    We really enjoyed our 3 week stay in March in spite of the rainy last week. The accommodations were as described and the location was perfect for us as we are familiar with the area. The apartment is large with 3 patios and has a nice view of the golf course. We found the seating in the living room limited, 2 plastic chairs plus a bench for dining and an L-shape couch, not all that comfortable. The kitchen was large and functionable. The beds, linens and espectially the towels were excellrnt. The location is quiet and private, even though it is in a condominium community. We were nicely positioned for our hikes on the coastal cliffs which were a short drive away. Shopping is available in the local village, in nearby Villa do Bispo, and Lagos is only 15 minutes away by car.

    Property is beautiful but the agents managing the property let down the experience. Responses were speedy but i spent lots of time emailing them.during our stay. There are more than a 'few' steps to the property as described by the agent when this question was asked before our stay. From the car park, about 20, so older or less mobile guests may struggle. The pool 'keys' were not labelled. After contacting the agent, I discovered that they were fobs and had been left behind a photo frame on a table. None of the outside lights worked so we couldn't use the outside spaces in the evenings. 2 were fixed 5 days into our stay. The other needed more work so couldn't be fixed at the time. I raised a complaint with the management agency, but not being able to use an outdoor space in the evening or use the barbeque in the evenings is unacceptable. This is the first time I have felt the need to raise a concern on a review, but these are issues which take the gloss off a beautiful property, with the owner placing trust in an agency to property manage their property.

    Wir waren zum dritten Mal in dieser Anlage. Die Häuser und die Pools gefallen uns sehr. Auch das Dorf Budens hat super viel Charme. Wie andere zuvor berichtet haben ging es uns genauso dass die Ausstattung im Vergleich zu anderen Häusern etwas schlechter ausfiel. Die Waschmaschine war defekt aber nach ein paar Tagen wurde sich gekümmert👍🏻

    We were at the Encosta Velha estate for the third time. Previously with another owner. We love this estate, it has a great location, it is beautifully arranged, the views are stunning. However, we are very disappointed with this particular apartment managed by Rental Valley. Described as renovated, it is neglected, dirty, the equipment has not been repaired and is very worn, and many elements are broken and require repair (contacts, curtain rods, shower cabin). It is very spacious, like all apartments in this estate, but the quality of the apartment does not match the description in the advertisement.

    Spent a very enjoyable 5 days in this peaceful, quintessential, Portuguese complex/apartment. The spacious apartment spanned 4 floors with 4 different terraces to choose from; allowing excellent views of Biden and beyond, from different vantage points. Overall a well equipped apartment, especially the kitchen, although instructions how to use the induction hob, would have been helpful. The living room would really benefit from an armchair as it was quite a squeeze on one sofa. Also another bedside table/night stand would be helpful in the twin room as there is only one. The bathroom is a little tired, racially the shower screen, but was clean with plenty of hot water. Fab ‘heated’ pool and lots of parking. Superb location to get into Salema for the fabulous beach and excellent restaurants. Will definitely go back.

    Grundsätzlich ist die Unterkunft schön, geräumig und hell. Leider ist es teilweise etwas renovierungsbedürftig und auch die Ausstattung ist sehr reduziert und teilweise heruntergekommen/abgenutzt. Die Liebe zum Detail fehlt leider auch an vielen Stellen, was ich persönlich sehr schade finde, weil man echt was tolles daraus machen könnte.

    Com crianças menores de 2 anos não aconselho, muitas escadas, dos quartos para a cozinha um andar, da cozinha para a sala outro andar, da sala para o churrasco outro andar, do churrasco para o terraço outro andar. Depois de fazer a reserva aparece uma lista de exigências que não combina com férias muitas restrições. Não se consegue parar o carro a porta para carregar e descarregar malas, da estrada ao apartamento ainda se anda um pouco e com escadas pelo caminho o que com malas não é fácil, é uma semana desportiva. A factura dizem que entregam no fim, não acho correto porque já paguei a totalidade á mais de 15 dias e ainda não tenho factura. Outra coisa ninguém explica o funcionamento dos eletrodomésticos devia haver um apoio personalizado. Gostei da aldeia de Budens boa padaria e bons cafés, pessoas muito simpáticas.

    Great location, spotless property. Close to fab beaches. Parking was easy, very peaceful and easy 10 minute walk to local bar and bakery, 20 min walk to the supermarket or 5 mins in the car. Lovely choice of balconies to sit on or the roof terrace. The roof is accessed by quite narrow spiral stairs so maybe not good for little children or those with mobility issues but the other two balconies are easy to get to. Bedrooms are downstairs, kitchen in the middle and living room next level up, followed by a terrace and shower room up more stairs.. We didn’t have any children but there was a stair gate installed on the stairs that link the four different levels. Everything was very clean, a few ants about but we’ve stayed in this location before and they are just unavoidable. The price you pay for warm weather and beautiful gardens. Did not cause a problem. Very comfy beds, showers were good. Comfortable living area with nice TV. Would def stay here again.

    We enjoyed our staying in Budens the Villa was amazing and there was all necessary for 2 couples of friends. Good space for eating outside and dry off the beachwear. Good wifi connection and enough space for 2 couples. We loved the tostadora in the kitchen :) great environment and super quiet resort. A lot of parking and close to Intermarché. We will for sure come back

    Wir haben unseren Urlaub genossen und uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Matratzen sind super, wir haben sehr gut geschlafen. Es ist ein sehr schönes und grosszügiges Apartment in einer tollen und sehr ansprechenden Anlage mit super Aussicht. Alles in allem eine klare Empfehlung.

    We had a very nice day in this apartment which was clean and well equipped. Lots of nice terraces to sit out on on sunny days to eat and to relax in the sunshine. Nice to have a pool to use and the golf course is very close by so it was ideal for us.

  51. Casa spaziosa e ben organizzata. Adatta a famiglie e a chi vuole visitare l'Algarve più selvaggio.

    Positive: La casa è spaziosa e ben organizzata. La posizione per noi era strategica, perché avevamo un'auto a noleggio e volevamo esplorare la costa atlantica dell'Algarve. Siamo rimasti qui per circa dieci giorni con due bambini e ci siamo trovati molto bene. Il residence è tranquillo e silenzioso, la collocazione in collina ci ha regalato temperature davvero miti. E il mare era a poca distanza. Negative: La casa deve migliorare notevolmente la dotazione generale. In cucina, stoviglie e pentole scarseggiavano. C'era una sola coperta (e le temperature per la maggior parte dell'anno la sera sono fredde). Quando siamo arrivati, la lavatrice aveva lo sportello danneggiato (non era possibile aprirlo). Nonostante la richiesta di assistenza, non è stato sostituito e questo ci ha causato notevoli disagi.

    Positive: It’s a good location, close to the different beaches and touristic sites. Gas station, supermarket, restaurants are placed close to the location. Silent and peaceful place. It is better to stay there with the car to be able to visit beaches and attractions. I recommend this properly. Negative: There was a problem with wifi connection, but it was fixed next day. Also washing machine in our townhouse wasn’t working. And one of two key fobs from the pool wasn’t working.
