Spacious 2 bedroom apartment with lovely seaview. Within walking distance of city centre Lagos.
The space
This spacious two bedroom, one bathroom apartment is set on the third floor with lovely sea views from its balconies. Situated a 10 minute walk to the Historical Old Town of Lagos and its City Walls. There are two of the most popular beaches in Lagos within a 20 minute walk from the apartment, Praia Dona Ana and Porto de Mos.
The apartment offers two bedrooms, one bathroom complete with bath and overhead shower and a fully equipped kitchen. The newly refurbished modern lounge/dining area has access to a balcony with sea views where you can enjoy the morning sun rise. The main bedroom has a double bed and another balcony where you can sit and relax on the sofa, taking in the views of the popular Meia Praia beach and surrounding area. The second bedroom has two single beds and access to a larger balcony.

The neighborhood
There are several local cafes and restaurants for you to enjoy traditional Portuguese food and drink, and a local bakery on your doorstep. You have a small supermarket within a few minutes’ walk. For those who do like to explore further a field there are some beautiful beaches within reasonable walking distance, where you can take in the incredible views of the coast or continue along the cliff tops to Porto de Mos beach and beyond.
Close to Lagos there are a variety of activities and sights which range from waterparks to zoos, through to historic monuments and challenging hiking and biking trails. The Algarve is known as one of Europe’s premier golf destinations, and there are many courses within close proximity to Lagos, the west coast is also very popular for surfing.
Whether you are couples travelling together or a family with children, there is something for everyone in Lagos.
Getting around
But bus and trains do not go very often and a (rental) car is recommended. Should you decided not to hire a car there is a bus stop close to the apartment that will take you into the town and also links up with the main bus routes to throughout the Algarve and Lisbon.

Die Betten sind sehr bequem, die Balkone sind toll. Man kann die Sonne zu jeder Tageszeit genießen. Zum Strand geht man ca. 20 Minuten.

Despite all this, the hosts were extremely responsive and even let us check in earlier than the set time.
Overall, there are some things to look out for, but manageable if you’re looking for a good value price.

A bit of improvement can be made in terms of cleanliness . Staff not helpful or responsive during power outage affecting our unit. Left to figure out the problem to ourselves with staff taking a very laid back and carefree attitude.

The flat itself was in good condition and comfortable. There was a little trouble with hot water the first night, however we communicated with the host and she was able to instruct us with the boiler, and afterwards it was never an issue. We enjoyed spending a lot of our time on the balconies—morning or afternoon there was always a balcony that had sunlight pouring in as well a beautiful ocean view in the distance.
Overall we had a lovely stay, and would highly recommend this airbnb to anyone who’s looking for a week (or longer) getaway in Lagos.

Noisy neighbours,rubbish by neighbour left outside door for a week.Paint pealing off walls in double bed room due to damp. All 3 balconies not clean.All floor areas in apartment not clean.Stain in toilet.We left the apartment cleaner than we arrived.

The listing accurately says the unit has no stairs, however, you must climb 60 stairs to actually access the unit! This wasn’t an issue for us but it is good to know.

No té ascensor i és un 3r pis. Està a més de 1km del centre, en teoria aprop, però hi ha un bon desnivell, al tornar i amb calor, dur.

the wifi ist fast and reliable so that you can work from home.
the highlight is the space that you have in this apartment and the amazing view from the balcony.

The location is also great. About a 20 min. walk to old town Lagos full of dining and shopping options. Same for the beach. Property includes parking if needed. I drove a few times to further destinations.
Also, there is a convenient and delightful cafe immediately outside the building.

Da falta de limpeza em algumas zonas do apartamento.
Da inexistência de piscina. Havia a indicação que o apartamento estava inserido num prédio com piscina.
Da falta de indicação que o apartamento é num 3*andar sem elevador.
