The space
Nothing compares to the views from the top floor lounge at villa Ocean Blue! Gaze out of the window from the comfort of your own home at Martinhal beach, the Sagres Cliffs, the Atlantic Ocean and Natural park. Villa Ocean Blue is modern and tastefully finished, equipped with all of your creature comforts.
Not only does Ocean Blue have some of the most incredible panoramic views, surrounding the property are beautifully landscaped gardens. The patio area meets the heated swimming pool with great views of the Atlantic Ocean and Natural Park. The heated swimming pool is equipped with an electric cover and a removable child safety pool fence. There are two BBQs (one gas and one charcoal) and huge first-floor roof terraces for sitting, outdoor dining and sunbathing.
The villa is set up to accommodate 10 people with an additional 2 children under 12, with 4 spacious bedrooms and another huge children´s entertainment room. The children´s room is another great family-friendly feature of this home as it includes a tennis table, sofas, beanbags, games and a smart TV. It is the perfect place for your kids to chill out and enjoy themselves. There are also four movable beds that can be used in any of the rooms.
3 of the bedrooms have en-suite facilities, a family shower room, and an additional WC.
The size and layout of this villa is perfect for 2 or 3 families to share.

The neighborhood
Villa Ocean Blue is located at Martinhal, a luxurious getaway with proximity to stunning beaches, great local seafood restaurants and some of the best surfing spots (famous with world-renowned surfers!).

If you want to explore the area, a car is recommended.

➤ Swimming pool can be heated at a surcharge of 23-35 euros per night depending on the season. Please let us know about this before your arrival.

We had a great long weekend at the villa! It’s spacious, modern and well equipped, with great views from the roof decks for sunrises/sunsets. The villa is located in a resort complex, a short walk to Martinhal beach, and a short drive to Sagres town and supermarkets. The rental company were very responsive ahead of our stay and their local host was there to greet us on arrival and show us around the property. We stayed as a group of 8 friends, but the villa would be equally well suited to families with children. Highly recommended!

The house is nice but it lacked basic amenities likes bin bags. Only one provided for a week with 11 people staying. You cant use any facilities at the resort the house is within, not even the supermarket on site, so future guests should keep this in mind as the closest supermarket is in Sagres, which is 44 mins walking or a ten 7 minute drive.
The house was nice but the bathrooms could do with an upgrade. Our shower was held together with a bandage....

As for the bin bags, our 'welcome pack' typically includes one spare bin bag, but we normally store additional ones underneath the sink for our guests' convenience. If there were no extras during your stay, this was an oversight on our part, and we sincerely apologize for the inconvenience.

I loved everything about the stay! The home was cozy, beautiful, and spotless, with all the essentials provided. The host was incredibly friendly and quick to answer any questions. The pool was clean and warm, though there was an extra charge for the hot tub.
The only downside was the weather. In August and September, Sagres can be quite windy, so we ended up traveling about an hour to Lagoa and other beaches for better conditions.

Great destination with access to loads of activities. The villa is set in a resort community, however it is easy to drive or taxi to the Sagres village which has amazing restaurants and bars. The villa was clean and well laid out and the pool is great (you will need to pay additional to heat it).

Better than the pictures, beautiful villa! The views are amazing and the location is very quiet and peaceful. Lots of rooms and bathrooms, perfect for a big group trip. Pool was great, nice to have it heated with the wind. Walking distance to a beach and beach restaurant. Sagres is a great little town, easy to drive or get taxi to go into town. Would 1000% come back and stay here!

Be wary of the restaurant on the beach with chairs and umbrellas. They are unfriendly and purposely tried to rip us off charging for chairs we did not use. It is worth a trip into town for better food and atmosphere.

Absolutely beautiful home. The views were spectacular and the home was so enjoyable to live in. Loved that all the bedrooms had their own bathroom and the home was so nicely furnished and enough kitchenware to handle many guests. The two balconies were lovely to sit out and enjoy reading a book or just take in the views. Best place to stay in Sagras!!!

This was a wonderful home in Sagres. Our family thoroughly enjoyed the pool, decks, and basement game room. The home is beautifully furnished and comfortable and the bathrooms were perfect for a group of 3 couples. We would highly recommend renting here, especially since the company is so great to work with!

Great place and location, there is only one think that is not clear when you book this house is that is not even possible to speak outside of the house after 10 pm, so you can't smoke and speak.

That is why we put some extra emphasis on sharing our house rules. These say that there cannot be any disturbances and no excessive noise or loud music outside, especially after 10pm - nothing that is potentially audible outside of the property. But of course, as I tried to explain to you when we spoke on the phone before your arrival, a regular conversation is no issue at all!

We were a family of 10 including three kids and two teenagers. The kids loved their room in the basement and the heated pool. We were there for a cold spell of weather in February so welcomed the heating in every room. The house is very well equipped with everything we needed. Algarve Private Collection could not have been more helpful or responsive.

Great property. Check-in & check-out were smooth, their team is friendly and responsive. The place was as advertised, although to be honest it felt a bit older than expected. We thought it was an almost-new construction where clearly it is not, however there is no real complaint here, everything was fine.
We enjoyed our stay at Villa Ocean Blue and would recommend this property for a nice vacation in Sagres.

A fantastic, well-appointed villa in a fabulous location. Great pool, very child friendly (from cots & cutlery to gates & shutters) and plenty of indoor & outdoor space. Heated towel rails were a real bonus when we were there.
Sagres is a great location - would recommend both Mar Ilimitado & A Tasca.
Hosts were always quick on communication and made the entire process very straightforward.

Great location, we stayed with 8 other friends lots of room and most rooms have privet bathrooms, pool area great. lots of beaches near by. Kitchen well equipped, good communal areas.

We had a wonderful week in this exceptional villa. We stayed with ten adults and had plenty of space and options to relax, swim, sunbath, cook, enjoy the group or enjoy the peace and quiet. We had a great time and enjoyed all amenities of the propoerty and specifically the stunning views. The villa is very well equipped, so we did not miss anything and felt comfortable at all times. Anna welcomed us very kindly and introduced us to everything we needed to know. Thank you so much from all ten of us for an impressive week at the Algarve.

Das Haus ist perfekt. Es ist sehr sauber, top ausgestattet und perfekt für eine Gruppe oder eine grosse Familie. Die Aussicht von der Terrasse traumhaft inkl. Sonnenuntergang und Meerblick. Wir würden das Haus jederzeit wieder mieten.
