The space
The Sea View Villa is located on the quieter Eastern side of Martinhal with stunning views over the protected Costa Vicentina Natural Park and the Atlantic Ocean. The villa has been recently and completely updated to include Air Conditioning, a new kitchen, bathrooms, and total internal and external refurbishment.
This spacious 5-bedroom (including game room) villa has two internal courtyards that give the villa ample fresh air and natural light! Its living quarters include a large comfortable living room with connected open dining room and fully equipped kitchen. All rooms on the ground floor open onto the garden and terrace, and the master bedroom upstairs has a huge sun terrace overlooking the pool, valley and ocean. All bedrooms and the lounge have Smart TV's.
This villa is amazing for those that love the countryside and open sea views. You have access to one of the largest private swimming pools in Martinhal. The terrace includes an outdoor dining area with BBQ that conveniently leads into the kitchen.
The villa is just a few minutes' walk to the beautiful sandy Martinhal Beach with 2 beach restaurants and water sports activities. We can host up to 8 adults + 2 children under 12.

The neighborhood
Martinhal is a quiet and safe resort location, in close proximity of the Martinhal beach, Sagres town and beaches, Atlantic Ocean and the Natural Reserve Park of Costa Vicentina.
The villa is literally a 5 minute walk from Martinhal sandy beach with 2 fantastic beach restaurants. You can also walk along the beach to the local fishing village of Sagres where you will find some great local restaurants, and 3 further beautiful beaches.
Getting around
It is possible to reach Sagres by bus and there are taxi's and übers available in the area. But if you want to make the most of your stay and explore the area, a hire car is highly recommended.

➤ smoking is not allowed, parties are not allowed
➤ Swimming pool can be heated at a surcharge of 35-50 euros per night depending on the season. Please let us know about this before your arrival.

➤ Check-in time: 4 - 9pm (arrivals after 9pm must be confirmed before booking. Late arrivals could result in a fee of 30-50 euros to be paid at arrival.)

die küche und der aussengrill waren nicht ordentlich sauber.
abschliessend ist es für uns aber vorstellbar dass wir wieder kommen !

We stayed here in May 2025. The property is lovely on a great complex. Beach is around 5 minute walk with a couple of beach bars which are good (80’s night at Bahari was brilliant). Ideally you need a car to get into Sagres to get to resteraunts which are all brilliant and easy to find. We did get an Uber 1 night, 5 euro each way. You don’t get the usual hassle from people standing outside resteraunts trying to get you in, they don’t need to as they are all great. Supermarkets are 5 min drive. Sagres is a brilliant spot, a little windy, but it’s a cooling breeze in May. All in all a brilliant stay and would definitely return. Thanks for a great stay.

This villa was a highlight of our time in the Algarve and of our entire trip to Portugal. Sagres was not central to the areas we explored in the Algarve, but the villa made the drive to other cities more than worth it. We had ample space for our family of 4, loved the outdoor areas, enjoyed the game room for family time, and loved the heated pool. We didn’t want to leave and if we ever get the chance to return to the area, we would stay here again in a heartbeat. Thank you for a lovely stay in a gorgeous location.

Absolutely loved our stay at this stunning villa in Sagres! From start to finish, it exceeded all our expectations. The villa is beautifully designed and has everything you could possibly need for a perfect holiday. The thoughtful touches, such as the utility area, gas BBQ, and spacious outdoor eating area, really made it feel like a home away from home. The pool area was a highlight—so relaxing with sun almost all day and plenty of sun loungers to enjoy the perfect weather.

The villa itself was spotlessly clean and very well maintained, with no issues at all during our stay. Eine sehr schöne Villa. Wir haben uns alle sehr wohl gefühlt. Zudem war die Ausstattung mehr als ausreichend. Das Gebiet war sehr ruhig und angenehm. Die Aussicht aus dem Balkon im oberen Stock war grandios. Der Pool wurde für eine extra Gebühr aufgewärmt und war sehr angenehm zum Schwimmen. Es kann abends etwas schwieriger werden, was in der Nähe zu essen zu bekommen, da es für uns in diesem Gebiet keinen Lieferservice gab und die Restaurants in der Nähe außerhalb der Saison früher geschlossen haben. Alles in allem auf jeden Fall noch einen Besuch wert.

Atemberaubende Villa, die absolut keine Wünsche offen lässt. Wir waren als Familie dort und wissen schon jetzt, dass wir definitiv wiederkommen wollen. Besonders toll fanden wir, dass wir vom Garten aus in die Landschaft bzw. das Meer sehen konnten und uns damit absolut privat fühlten.

Lovely villa, door handles need fixing and many draws broken. Overall amazing place. We had our staff there (house keeper and 2x chefs) I think the kitchen is really for smaller families as only single oven and we had to buy a lot of glassware and towels for the stay. Fabulous pool and perfect location.

We had a lovely few days in Seaviewvilla. Everything was pretty much perfect and exactly what we needed for a family of six.
Pool was amazing and getting it heated was so worth it.
Everything you could possibly need is there.
Beds were very comfortable but if I had one minor quibble it would be that the pillows weren't great and didn't offer any support. That however is more personal preference.

Only drawback: It is located in the Martinhal resort. However, as it is not managed by the resort, none of the resort offers can be used.

Also, down by the beach (2 min walk) there are 2 restaurants open to the public and in the town of Sagres (5 min drive) there is a great selection of supermarkets, local stores and restaurants.

This house was AMAZING!!! The views the rooms, the pool all amazing. We had a few hiccups (power went out, pool heater some how came on on the last day) but all of this matters were address and taken care of as fast as possible. The team for this house was amazing - from the welcome we got long with explanation of the house to the handyman that came to help with the power being out - all friendly and there to help!

This house is stunning! We absolutely loved it, it is beautiful, luxurious and well equiped, the pool is amazing and the view is breathtaking! It is nested within an upscale resort community by Martinhal beach. The town of Sagres is absolutely awesome, small but not crowded and with a cool surfer vibe. It also feels very safe. lots of nearby attractions and incredible beaches. We did have some maintenance issues in the house but the team was quick to respond and fix. Overall we really enjoyed the experience and would definitely stay there again. Great for families!
PS: One thing to keep in mind is that the nearest private hospital at night is 50min away, in the town of Alvor. We did have a medical emergency during our 10 day stay and having to drive so long at night to the hospital was quite challenging and stressfull. During the day you will find a hospital 35min away.

The views were amazing and ocean cliff hiking and a gorgeous beach were a five minute walk away. The house was spacious and the neighbourhood was beautiful and felt very safe. We loved the security of the gate and parking.

Fantastic villa for our family holiday. Great location, great pool and gardens with total privacy. The house has been beautifully renovated with everything you need for a great holiday. Everything was as described on the website and the management agents were brilliant. Couldn’t recommend the whole experience more highly.

We are coming every year to Martinhal and this Sommer was our first time in the fully renovated Sea View Villa. Very modern und excellent equipped villa. One of the biggest pools in Martinhal. We will come back!
