A casa é muito ampla e confortável. No entanto fomos no inverno, e pagamos previamente pelo aquecimento da piscina, o qual nao ocorreu. Também quando chegamos a casa estava sem agua quente nos banheiros e ficamos 24horas sem abastecimento de agua quente, mesmo estando com uma crianca e um idoso, o que foi extremamente desconfortável e incomodo. Os hosts nos devolveram o valor equivalente a menos de meia diária pelo inconveniente, porem achamos que o justo seria terem devolvido o valor de uma diária completa, ja que ficamos 24 horas sem agua.

Reasonable, not great
We stayed at Casa Gribouille for a month. We had a mixed experience. The house itself is very nice and roomy and has an excellent location. Pool and garden was great to relax in. Also the outside kitchen is amazing. Our support agent Jacqui was friendly and very easy to reach, which was great. However, we were disappointed in the quality of many of the facilities in the house. It is clear the house has not had enough maintenance in the last decade. Every choice the owners have made is clearly based on saving money and choosing the cheapest option. The bedding is fairly low quality, mattresses are old, some are yellow, pillows and blankets all synthetic and very basis. Only soft mattresses, literally everyone over 60 kgs in our company complained of back pain after a while. Some of the beds are missing slats. Kitchen is missing even very basic stuff. Not enough hot water for everyone to take a (short) shower. Appliances kept breaking down and had to be fixed, dishwasher never worked, gate broke down on day 2. When we called customer support they said we were the first people to complain about the beds. As I am writing this review I see that other guests have complained about this too, wonder why stuff like this does not get resolved and if these reviews are even read. All in all, I would recommend if you don't mind missing some basic features to your house and can sleep on any kind of bed. It really is a in a beautiful location and the house itself (not the facilities) is a great place. Personally I think we are going to rent a different property in the future.

A lovely Martinhal villa
This property is lovely perfect for a family with young children or like ourselves with grown up ones ! However there are some issues that need attention in order to make this property five star . The beds really do need replacing a comfortable nights sleep on holiday is a must , new pillows needed too. The dishwasher had no salt or rinse aid this makes using it difficult as the crockery is not clean . Some fly screens need replacing and the plug does not stop the water draining from the sink . These are little things that would really make a difference. We would love to return to Casa Griboulle in the future. Thank you

Absolutely beautiful location. Pool and the view of the ocean are fantastic. Overall, the Villa was a wonderful place to stay. Spacious and the pool and ocean view made the Villa very special to be in. For people new to Portugal and to the Algarve region, Sagres itself is a little bit further away from a lot of the main activities, but for us, it was nice to have a quiet, peaceful place to stay and Sagres has its own beauty. For such a lovely villa, I would say that the beds were not quite as comfortable in the master bedroom, and could use some updating. But overall would highly recommend staying here.

Wunderbarer Aufenthalt. Die Villa ist großartig. Die Einrichtung und insbesondere die Küche/Utensilien sind in die Jahre gekommen. Aber das hat uns nicht gestört. Die Kommunikation mit dem Gastgeber/Verwalter war ausgezeichnet. Achtung in der Hochsaison können die Einrichtungen und Restaurants vom Martinhal Resort nur sehr beschränkt genutzt werden (SPA geht gegen Bezahlung)

We enjoyed it and the team were super responsive. The pool is lovely (though very cold if you don’t opt for the heated option) and the view is beautiful. Lots of room in the house and overall good value! However, it felt like the house was being opened for the first time in the season. It was very dusty which caused some bad allergy responses. The house is pretty dated - old and stained crockery etc - dusty drawers, and dated interiors. It ain’t luxe - but it’s comfortable and spacious, a very short walk to a gorgeous beach, restaurant and Sagres town. The team who manage the property were very responsive. Thanks for the stay!

Excellent property, well managed, spacious, clean and in close proximity (walking or driving) to martinhal beach. Also a very short drive to town of Sagres with restaurants and shops. We visited in mid august and paid a little extra to have the pool heated which I would highly recommend because it can be breezy and even a little cool in Sagres. We didn’t walk to the beach but it would have been a 5-10 minute quick walk. We found that even with the small lot there was parking at the beach when we wanted to go (including at 10am). The beach was very nice with calm waters (our 10,12 year olds actually wished there were more waves). The house was well appointed and the three bedrooms were a great size. The management company was great and gave us suggestions for surfing and horseback riding lessons. We felt the companies they recommended were well run, very safe and our kids loved the experiences. Overall we really enjoyed our stay! We would definitely stay again.

Le lieu est très joli, les plages très belles. La maison a un peu vieilli surtout le mobilier. A l’extérieur les fauteuils sont très usés, plus de coussins, les lits de piscine sont pleins de tâches d’oiseau. A l’intérieur la literie est minimale, matelas très fin, dans la cuisine les casseroles sont cassées, toute la vaisselle est dépareillée, ailleurs plein des déchets qui trainent, chaises cassées, …. Plusieurs problèmes avec l’ouverture du portail. Pour le prix j’ai déjà eu beaucoup mieux.
