The space
Located in the much sought after resort of Porto de Mos in the Lagos area, this spacious two bed, two bathroom apartment is luxuriously furnished to a very high standard. The condominium is small and is shared with eleven other apartments.
Situated on the ground floor, it is fully air conditioned with balconies both front and back of the property. Either unwind on the sofas whilst looking over the pool and with sea glimpses, or the easy chairs at the back with its private garden. Inside it is light and airy with plenty of space to unwind and enjoy your holiday. This unique apartment has a King size bed in the main bedroom, with an ensuite bathroom, jacuzzi bath and overhead shower. The second bedroom has two single beds that can have a configuration of a double if required and a separate shower room. A fully fitted kitchen with dishwasher and washing machine, ceramic hot plate and integral oven. Large open plan lounge and dining room which looks out through floor to ceiling glass doors onto the south facing balcony where you can enjoy your evening meal or breakfast.
For around the pool area, there are sunbeds available, so relax whilst being surrounded by well manicured and beautifully landscaped gardens.

The neighborhood
Porto de Mós beach is less then a 10 minute stroll away, where you can find two beach side restaurants and a bus stop for going into the town centre. Alternatively, an approximate 8 minute car/taxi ride will also take you into the bustling historic town of Lagos. Lagos perfectly blends traditional Portuguese culture with beautiful beaches and great tourist facilities. It has an amazing historic centre with lots to explore and a leisurely walk alongside the charming harbours estuary. With an extensive selection of restaurants to choose from and nightlife, you will be spoilt for choice. Close to Lagos is a variety of activities and sights which range from waterparks to zoos, through to historic monuments and challenging hiking and biking trails. There are three golf courses within close proximity to Lagos, making it an ideal location for your base.
Getting around
You can reach Lagos in about one hour by car from Faro Airport and car rental is available in the parking lot of the airport. By train it will take about 2,5 to 3 hours.
Lagos has a train station (for travel towards Faro, Lisbon and Porto) and a bus station (for buses towards the west-side of the south coast) but do note that buses and trains only go a few times per day. You can easily get around without a car and there are plenty of taxis and Ubers available, but if you really want to explore the area surrounding Lagos, a (rental) car will make your life a whole lot easier.

Die Terrassentür ist für jede Person einfach von außen zu öffnen. Da haben wir die Wohnung mit keinem guten Gefühl verlassen.
Es ist viel zu wenig Geschirr vorhanden und der Geschirrspüler fällt auch fast auseinander.
In den Badezimmern fehlen Halterungen für das Toilettenpapier und im großen Badezimmer ist die Handtuchstange nicht fest montiert.
Die Matratzen im kleinen Zimmer sind leider sehr durchgelegen, die Matratzen im großen Schlafzimmer sind hingegen super.
Der Teppich sollte dringend entfernt werden, so viele Flecken hat er.
Uns wurden die Handtücher leider nicht ausgetauscht.
Sehr positiv war jedoch die Kommunikation mit dem Vermieter.

Bubbelbad werkte niet, lampjes in de badkamers kapot, te weinig glas werk . Voor vier personen was het erg karig qua servies. Verder waren de bedden in de gasten slaapkamer dat waren twee eenpersoons boxspring maar allebei opgemaakt met twee persoons hoeslaken en dekbed. Erg slordig en dat voor die prijs daar mag wel wat meer aandacht aan worden besteed.

Ett minus var att det kunde funnits fler glas, tallrikar och bestick.
Man kunde enkelt ta sig in till Lagos med egen bil eller taxi, Bolt var väldigt billigt! Tog bara några minuter.
Det var också härligt med gångavstånd till den vackra stranden praia porto de mos. Kan starkt rekommendera denna fina lägenhet!

Pour la propreté, on y repassera. Le logement est équipé d’une laveuse frontale, la porte doit rester fermer en permanence parce qu’elle sent très mauvais et le caoutchouc était rempli de moisissure. Il y avait une grosse coulisse brune le long du lave vaisselle et lorsqu’on a allumé la fan au dessus de la plaque de cuisson, un liquide brun s’en écoulait. Le grille pain ne fonctionne pas et le séchoir surchauffe. Il y avait beaucoup de fourmis à l’intérieur du logement, le tapis du salon à plusieurs tâches et le wi-fi est horrible.
Le stricte minimum est fourni et impossible d’en avoir plus, nous avons été dans l’obligation d’aller acheter détergent à lave vaisselle et à lessive, essuie tout et papier hygiénique parce qu’il n’y en avait pas assez pour nos 5 jours.

The location is great for a quiet getaway but, I would recommend renting a car or using Uber/Bolt which are quite cheap to get into the town center. These options are affordable and provide easy access to more bustling areas for shopping and restaurants.

Communication from the host was excellent throughout my stay. The check-in directions provided were easy to follow and very straightforward, ensuring a hassle-free arrival.
I would highly recommend this apartment to anyone travelling to Lagos. It offers a perfect combination of comfort, convenience, and excellent hospitality.

Tout était propre, l’appartement est spacieux, avec un accès à la piscine et la plage est à 10 minutes à pieds.

The hairdryer almost caught on fire, do not use it.
The shower head in the en-suite bathroom doesn’t stay on the wall as it does not fit the attachment properly. This hangs down making it impossible to shower without holding it in your hand the whole time. If you want to wash your hair you will have to use the shower in the other bathroom.

On the minis side- mid stay services isted in file not provided: beachtowels beddings bath towels (bath towels and beddings only provided due to incinveniences we experienced from of vvery noisy building works that woke us up - 4days in a row; we had been notified), clothes drying rack couldn't support bath towels or a full wash without collapsing which a couple of times. Accessing the pool not easy have to go through basement car park so did not use it for this reason and the building works

Das Internet war katastrophal und es ist kein Verlass darauf. Ich musste zeitweise auch Meetings Online abhalten, die leider keine gute Verbindung mit dem WLAN hatten. Also zum Arbeiten mit Konferenzen und Videos nicht geeignet!
Ansonsten hatten wir eine "voll ausgestattete" Küche erwartet. Um wirklich für 14 Tage hier richtig zu kochen, fehlen einfach gewisse Dinge.... Z.B. gibt es kein Backblech, keinen Messbecher, keine Waage.... naja iin der Not wird man erfinderisch?
Der Föhn im Bad stinkt verbrannt + überhitzt nach wenigen Minuten. Es wurde eine Zwischenreinigung nach der Hälfte der Zeit angekündigt, die aber nie stattfand?
Sollten diese Punkte ausgebessert werden, können wir es auf jeden Fall für den Preis empfehlen. :-) Der Kontakt war immer sehr freundlich und schnell. Danke!

Des traces sur les murs un coup de peinture serait vraiment nécessaire ainsi qu’un vrai coup de propre sur la terrasse. Toiles d’araignées dans le salon…..!!!!!
La facturation de 100€ en plus du séjour ne semble pas avoir été mis à profit.
Tache sur le tapis et canapé.
Un grand manque d’entretien….!!!!!

5-7 minutes straight to the beach. There are 2 cafes near the beach, and the nearest grocery store is about a 30-minute walk away. Also near the beach begins the Fishermen's Trail (Luz-Lagos), which leads to the nearby town of Luz.

Seul hic : l'appartement nous a été livré avec une porte patio brisée donnant accès au logement puisque celui-ci est au rez-de-chaussée. Le problème n'a jamais été réglé (même si signalé dès notre arrivée) et nous y avons séjourné 5 jours. La compagnie répond mais n'agit pas malheureusement. Il y a aussi présence de fourmis, nous avons demandé des pièges mais ne les avons jamais reçus.
Bref, beau logement, bien situé, tranquille mais le rental service devra être plus proactif pour assurer la sécurité des locataires.

Einen kleinen Abzug gibt es leider, da wir ein kleines Bettwanzenproblem hatten. Zunächst wurde sehr schnell kommuniziert und sich die Lage angeschaut. Allerdings wurde uns auch versprochen, dass sich nochmal jemand diesbezüglich melden und agieren wird, das ist leider nicht mehr passiert.
Außerdem könnte die Küche etwas besser ausgestattet sein. Die Geräte sind hochwertig und es ist viel Platz, aber ein paar Teller etc. mehr wären super! :-)

Le logement bénéficie bien sur d'un lave-vaisselle, contrairement à ce qui est indiqué dans l'annonce...
Il est juste dommage qu'avec Rental Valley, il ne bénéficie pas d'un service de gestion au même niveau: peu d’implication et faible réactivité.

Det som vi tycker saknades var närhet till affärer, vi fick ta skotrarna in till Lidl för att handla. Och det hade varit skönt med byte av handduk oftare. Jag är van vid att byta handduk och örngott hemma åtminstone efter 3 dagar. Dörren var även lite svår att öppna. Vi hittade tekniken efter en bra stund.
Rekommenderar starkt att boka detta boende!

Die Lage ist gut. Sehr ruhige Umgebung mit Parkplätzen vor der Tür. Man kann zum Strand laufen, es gibt aber fußläufig keine Einkaufsmöglichkeiten.
WLAN könnte bisschen schneller sein.
Sauberkeit war in Ordnung. Hier und da bisschen Schmutz. Leider war das Geschirr sehr schmutzig, was aber wohl an den Vormietern lag.

Arrivée facile. Appartement très agréable et lumineux, suite parentale très spacieuse.
La terrasse donne sur la piscine mais pour autant nous n’avons pas été gêné car personne ne s’est baigné au moment où nous étions dans l’appartement. Nous recommandons cet appartement pour un séjour à Lagos.

Die Wohnanlage selber ist sehr ruhig.
Kostenloser Parkplatz ist direkt vor der Wohnanlage.
In 5 Minuten ist man direkt am Strand.
Negativ:
1. Was nicht mitgeteilt wurde ist, dass die komplette Terassentür von einem Schlafzimmer gebrochen war. Die komplette Terassentür war von innen verklebt und abgestützt. Laut den Nachbarn besteht dieser Zustand schon knapp ein halbes Jahr. Zimmer war komplett dunkel und konnte nicht gelüftet werden. Nach Nachfragen wurde uns mitgeteilt, das dies weiter gegeben wird und jemand vorbeikommt (nach einem halben Jahr).
2. Die hellblauen Terassenpolster, waren schwarz vor Schimmel und Stockflecken. Das hat ein Vorgänger schon im Oktober bemängelt. Auf Nachfrage wurden die Polster abgeholt und vier Wochen später bekamen wir Ersatz.
3. Die Sauberkeit. Den Zustand hatten wir in anderen Wohnungen noch nicht erlebt. Auf Backblechen waren noch kleine Mahlzeiten, Pfannen nicht gereinigt. Gefrierschrank war voller Eis, das in allen möglichen Farben schimmerte, Lichtschalter waren schmutzig etc.
Fenster und Oberflächen waren schmierig.
Die Batterien der meisten Fernbedienungen waren leer - neue selbst besorgt.
Nur eine Garnitur Handtücher für 6 Wochen ist ein bisschen wenig.
Ansonsten wäre die Wohnung top.

Codici di accesso da rivedere. Il codice comunicato per l'accesso apre solo il cancellino, la porta a vetri di ingresso difettosa. Se non fosse stato per un inquilino dell'appartamento adiacente avremmo avuto difficoltà ad arrivare alla key box posizionata all'interno. La porta finestra della seconda camera inutilizzabile perché rotta.

Quartos partida e coberta com um plástico, tapete da sala sujo com manchas de café, a limpeza não foi melhor ( talheres e pratos sujos com comida, migalhas no sofá). Infelizmente não é um sítio que queira voltar.
