The restaurant is serving quality food from 17:00 till 22:00.

The neighborhood

The apartment is in the heart of Amsterdam center and close to the nine little streets.

Amsterdam is one of the greatest small cities in the world. From the canals to world-famous museums and historical sights, it is one of the most romantic and beautiful cities in Europe. Cruises on the canals are a popular way to see the city from a different and unique perspective
Welcome to the city of tolerance and diversity. It has all the advantages of a big capital: rich culture, thrilling nightlife, international restaurants, good transport - yet quiet in road traffic. In this city, your destination is never far away!

Getting around

As a capital city, it is very easy to reach from Schiphol Airport and to get around by public transport. Trains, buses and trams will get you to your destination in an efficient way. Even better for short distances and a local experience is of course by bicycle!

If you want to travel to other cities and places, normally public transport is also very convenient depending on the location of your plans of course. We will share a handy website with you to plan your route!

This apartment is very close to the central station (walking distance). Parking is difficult along the canals. The best is to make use of Amsterdam Park & Ride.

L'emplacement est très bien. Joli quartier, touristique, mais surtout amstellodamois. Très agréable.
Fuyez ! C'est cher et vraiment pas terrible ! Le principal problème : pas de fenêtres qui ouvrent : impossible d'aérer la chambre (nous avons aéré avec le climatiseur, qui recrachait l'air chaud dans l'escalier !). Ensuite au choix : la salle de bains est une cabine de douche (pas de lavabo pour se brosser les dents) - le propriétaire vit sur place - aucun problème, si ce n'est qu'il met des machines à tourner à 23h..pour un cycle de 3h...
Dernier point sur l'accueil : j'ai tenté de communiquer avec l'hôte dans la semaine : aucune réponse, et la première prise de contact à l'heure de check-in a été : mais vous êtes en avance de 10 minutes. Super ! on était arrivés 5h plus tôt..

Le logement se trouve dans un très bon quartier, cependant nous sommes très déçu quand à la saleté de la chambre proposée. De plus, la chambre n’est pas conforme aux photos sur Airbnb. Cheveux, poils au sol + coussin tâché alors qu’on paye 53€ de frais de ménage c’est une honte. De plus serrure de la chambre pas hyper safe. Logement partagé pour la salle de bain et les toilettes : tout était ok à ce niveau là. La saleté est LE POINT NÉGATIF de la chambre.
Pas de gel douche comme annoncé, ni de liquide vaisselle.

A localização do alojamento é excecional e o dono do estabelecimento é extremamente atencioso. Se você procura um sítio para se hospedar no coração de Amsterdão, essa pode ser uma opção a ser considerada.
O sítio tem demasiada humidade e a limpeza é bem ruim. Se tens alergias, é melhor evitar. Se caprichassem mais na limpeza, poderia receber uma nota melhor.
O sítio também não é adequado para pessoas que tem dificuldades de mobilidade, tendo em vista a escada íngrime e estreita para entrar no apartamento.

We did not receive the actual address before leaving, only the street.
The accomodations (especially the stairs) were filthy, advertising papers on the landing which were never removed for our entire stay.
We did not receive the room that we booked.
The owner was very nice and helpful of the area.

Personale molto accogliente, camera spaziosa per 2. C’erano asciugamani e lenzuola pulite a nostra disposizione. La posizione a dir poco stupenda 10 min dal centro a piedi . Per dormire e evitare i rumori della città in centro è top.

Egy barátommal mentünk ketten és olcsón szerettünk volna szállást, amit sikerült is megvalósítanunk. Ár érték arányban szerintem megérte ezt a szállást választanunk. Fontos volt számunkra, hogy lokáció szempontjából jó helyen legyen a lakás. A házigazda nagyon rendes volt, nagyon segítőkész is volt és rengeteget beszélt, de jó értelemben. Ezen kívül szerencsénkre egyedül voltunk a szálláson, így a közös használatú mosdón csak azzal a személlyel kellett osztoznom akivel jöttem. Számomra pozitív élmény volt.
Számunkra az ágy nem volt a legkényelmesebb, bár közre játszhat, hogy ketten feküdtünk barátommal egy olyan francia ágyban, amit pároknak tartanak fent. Továbbá a wc-ben nagyon szűk a hely, így a mosdóhasználat magasabb, vagy szélesebb embereknél problémát okozhat. Továbbá a folyosón, ami a wc-hez vezetett út nem volt világítás (vagy csak nekünk felejtette el megmutatni a házigazda).

If you're looking for authentic Amsterdam lodging, not just another generic hotel room, this will be your place. The room is in an authentic, old house in the historic Jordaan section of town. That means: narrow staircases, squeaky floors and low ceilings. It also means you'll have a one-of-a-kind stay to complete your visit. The restaurant on the ground level is convenient and serves delicious and well prepared meals. The included kitchen is great for light cooking and has a fabulous coffee machine waiting for to produce a tasty morning espresso. The location puts you in the middle of everything and is within walking distance to all the "must see" attractions.

Casa de fácil localização embora a porta não fosse de fácil acesso (muito estreita).
Não esperávamos cozinha e casa de banho partilhada pois não vimos isso nas instruções da casa.
A mesa na cozinha não tinha cadeira tivemos de fazer as refeições de pé. E os produtos de limpeza da loiça não pareciam tão pouco que limpavam…
A casa de banho onde apenas tinha a sanita era super pequena. Banheira normal.

Amazing location, gracious host, and fun meeting other visitors to Amsterdam who stayed in the second room at the property. Very comfortable bed, too.
Bathroom sink was incredibly small and made it difficult to wash my face without spilling water. A bit noisy at night since the AC/heating unit has to connect through the window, which wasn't fully sealed.

Sur l'annonce Abritel, il n'est pas notifié que la cuisine la douche et les WC sont a partager avec les autres occupants de l' immeuble.
Dans la salle d'eau ( douche et WC ) il n'y a pas de lavabo seulement qu'un lave mains.

Die Stadtmitte war fußläufig in ca. 15 Minuten erreichbar. Der Gastgeber war außerdem sehr nett.
Die Unterkunft entspricht absolut nicht den Bildern. Aus der Beschreibung ging nicht hervor, dass sich das Badezimmer geteilt werden muss. Die Wohnung war kalt, schmutzig und schlecht ausgestattet. Im Zimmer gab es noch nicht mal richtige Beleuchtung. Das Badezimmer war quasi nicht vorhanden: ein Klo, ein winziges Waschbecken und eine Dusche. Zudem war es sehr hellhörig, da die Wände sehr dünn waren, was schwer gemacht hat zu schlafen, da man jede Geräusch des Mitbewohners mitbekommen hat. Das Flurlicht, welches automatisch anging, hat das Zimmer in der Nacht erhellt, was einen erholsamen Schlaf zusätzlich erschwert hat.

Good location for access to the train station and the city centre. The host was very welcoming and on hand - he gave us free cake one of the afternoons we were there.
The accommodation was fine but not completely clean, and not as freshly decorated as it appears in the listing photos. The lock on the front door was fiddly to use. The stairs up to the accommodation were steep and narrow (although that might be characteristic of historic Amsterdam buildings) so would be difficult to navigate it you were not fully able-bodied.

The room does not look as nice in reality as in the pictures. The ceiling is quite low so you may feel uncomfortable. In addition, we felt that both the house and room were not exactly clean. The floors or the ceiling are a bit tilted in the room so it’s quite funny to walk around. The location is very good though.

nic, ten apartamnet to totalna porażka, w lepszych warunkach żyją uchodzcy z erytrei . Jestem zbulwersowany, że booking nie prowadzi weryfikacji obiektow które są dostępne w ich ofercie.
1. Wspólna lazienka .Informację o tym ,że łazienka jest wspólna otrzymałem po uzyskaniu informacji jak się zameldować

L’emplacement était bien.
Ce n’est pas un hôtel ! J’ai mal lu en réservant mais du coup pas d’accueil et SDB partagée…pour la réservation sans avoir tout lu c’est ma faute.

Pour le reste, l’accueil a été déplorable, on s’est fait engueuler à la remise des clefs parce que nous n’avions pas appelé 15min avant pour prévenir qu’on arrivait (ce qui n’était pas marqué dans le document d’arrivée puisqu’on arrivait dans les horaires habituels d’accueil) et on nous a fait attendre 30min sous la pluie en nous menaçant de ne pas nous donner les clefs et d’en venir aux mains… Invraisemblable !
On pensait que c’était une chambre d’hôtel classique mais non, c’est une maison exiguë dans laquelle il faut partager une salle de bains, lavabo et toilettes entre 4 chambres. Donc impossible d’avoir la SDB libre le matin après 9h.
Les serviettes sont incluses mais la moitié étaient sales et ne sentaient pas bon. La propreté laissait à désirer.
Et le prix hallucinant, mais nous y sommes allés un week-end chargé.
Bref, si vous avez les moyens de payer un peu plus pour un vrai hôtel passez votre chemin direct !!

Excellent location. Good value compared to other properties in central Amsterdam. Helpful host. Decent water pressure in shower. Good wifi and TV.
Squeaky floor and door. Can hear everything from the street (but luckily is a quiet street after 10-11pm). Steep narrow stairs (as is common in Amsterdam but not suitable for any mobility difficulties)

Die Lage war recht zentral, die meisten Sehenswürdigkeiten waren 10-20 Min Fußweg entfernt. Das Bett war sehr komfortabel und man konnte die Gemeinschaftsküche nutzen.
Das Bad und WC waren außerhalb des Zimmers und konnten auch von Bewohnern der anderen Zimmer genutzt werden. Die Unterkunft war nicht ganz sauber, das Zimmer war sehr verstaubt.

Freundlicher Gastgeber und gute Lage. Leider war das Zimmer viel leerer als auf den Fotos dargestellt und die Gemeinschaftsräume (Bad/Küche) waren trotz der kalten Temperatur unbeheizt.

Die Unterkunft hatte alle grundlegenden Dinge, die man braucht. Es gab eine Gemeinschaftsküche und ein Gemeinschaftsbad. Handtücher, Bettwäsche und Basics für's Frühstück wurden gestellt. In der Küche gab es sogar eine sehr gute Kaffeemaschine.

Mon séjour était moyen comparé au prix (très cher à Amsterdam)
Je n’ai pas eu la chance d’avoir une arrivée accueillante par Rachid (il m’a donné les clés et j’ai bien senti qu’une arrivée à 21h30 était trop tard pour lui alors que c’est bien spécifié qu’on peut arriver sans pbl jusqu’à 22h et malgré avoir prévenu Rental Valley de mon heure tardive)
Aucune explication dans l’appartement (même par message)
L’appart n’est pas du tout insonorisé. Prévoir les boules quies et le pull car y’a un bar + restaurants juste en dessous.
Les toilettes sont super sales, si vous aimez la propreté, ce n’est pas pour vous.
Pas de gel douche comme spécifié.
Le seul point positif je dirai c’est l’emplacement qui est top et la chambre qui est assez spécieuse.
Je pense cependant qu’il y a mieux en termes de logement :)

Easy to find in a quiet street, but such a short walk away from liveliness! Loved having a coffee machine in the kitchen, and a big TV in the bedroom for early-morning chillouts. Fan and big window was lovely to have as the weather was hot. Host was very friendly and helpful.

I mainly visited for Pride and this was a perfect location. Will hopefully visit again, and will look to stay here next time!

We loved staying here! The room was stylish, spacious, and clean. The kitchen was cute and fully stocked. The house is an authentic dutch townhouse, typical of Amsterdam. It was nicely decorated and well lit. The host was very friendly and even invited us for dinner at his restaurant downstairs. We had dinner and drinks and it was delicious!
There was a bit of street noise at night (minor).
