Beautiful semi-detached house with generous size bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and beautifully decorated. A small paradise by the sea!
The space
Beautiful semi-detached house, typology T2 with immense taste and contemporary inspiration, all furnished and beautifully decorated.
On the ground floor, we are greeted by a bright entrance hall that takes us to the living room, which still extends to a fantastic terrace with barbecue, ideal for dining on the street, while enjoying the beautiful landscape over the gardens and the natural reserve and the quiet of the place. The kitchen, modern and fully equipped with new appliances, opens to this large living room (with sofa bed) and benefits from plenty of natural light, also having independent access from the front of the house. On this floor, only a few steps down there is a toilet and a extra shower.
On the upper floor are the two beautiful bedrooms with built-in wardrobes, and each with its own terrace. The views are from there unobstructed and very pleasant. Besides this there is a great family bathroom with large walk-in shower.

The neighborhood
Inserted in a beautiful gated and private condominium, with large and pleasant landscaped gardens, which embellish the scenery and invite you to the promenade and other outdoor activities, located 5 minutes walk from the beautiful "Praia dos Caneiros" and 2 minutes drive from the center of Ferragudo, this house is the one that sought to spend your vacation every year or live your renovation full time.
About a 5-minute drive from the city of Portimão, it is right next to all the amenities of the big city.
Getting around
From Faro airport you can get to the apartment in 50 minutes by car and 90 by public transport. The beach is within walking distance.
The best way to travel the Algarvarian coast is by boat or car. If you really want to explore the area , a (rental) car will make your life a whole lot easier as public transport is limited but will also get you around. In Carvoeiro you don't need any special transportation. You can easily walk through the village.

Strandnähe war super und ist fußläufig erreichbar. Für Einkäufe oder Restaurant besuche benötigt man ein Auto oder muss sich ein Uber bestellen.
Der Kontakt mit den Gastgebern verlief freundlich und reibungslos.

My only small suggestion...indicate the type of coffee maker so guests can bring the right type of pods. Otherwise a perfect stay !

Les chambres et la salle de bain de l’étage sont très bien; la vue depuis le balcon (trop petit pour être une terrasse) est splendide. Le rez-de-chaussée et la salle de toilette de l’entresol sont plutôt vieillots et assez humides. La terrasse est bien agréable mais ne comptez pas cuisiner sur le minuscule bbq au charbon (non fourni).
Une seule télécommande fonctionnelle est insuffisant pour 3 appareils de climatisation.
Les heures d’arrivée (16:00) et de départ (10:00) sont plus restreintes que la plupart des logements que location que nous avons fréquentés.
Nous avons quand même passé un tres beau séjour.

The house is in a very good location, close to local attractions yet peaceful and quiet. Everything was clean and comfortable and we’d love to return.

Unfortunately, we also came across three cockroaches during our stay—two in the bathroom and one on the kitchen counter. (Flying cockroaches) 🥲 While I understand that being near the water can attract insects, it made me quite uncomfortable, especially when it came to sleeping.
That said, the surroundings were spectacular, and the overall atmosphere was peaceful and relaxing. Thank you!

Die Lage mit Blick auf das Meer war ebenfalls so, wie auf den Bildern zu sehen war.
Besonders positiv ist uns aufgefallen, dass der Host für seine Wohnungen einen eigenen Netflix-Account anbietet. Top für schlechtes Wetter!
Uns haben neben der Klimaanlage auf jeder Etage die zusätzlichen Entfeuchter gefallen und das Klima stark verbessert.
Das Bad im Obergeschoss war stilvoll eingerichtet.
Insgesamt ist diese Unterkunft durchweg empfehlenswert.

Your feedback holds immense value to us, and we deeply regret that your stay did not align with your expectations, particularly following your long international journey with your elderly parents.
We are acutely aware of the considerable frustration caused by the absence of hot water and the persistent beeping noise. The root of this issue was a miscommunication pertaining to the boiler replacement, for which we sincerely apologize. We take full responsibility for this service lapse. In our efforts to rectify the situation promptly, we offered you a range of choices, one of which was a substantial discount on the affected nights. It is essential to clarify that I never advised you to stay without hot water; instead, we presented options while diligently working to resolve the hot water issues within the following 48 hours. This clarification is crucial to accurately represent the situation.
We completely understand and respect your decision to relocate after one night, as ensuring our guests' comfort and access to essential amenities is paramount.
I would like to shed light on the matter concerning your refund. When we liaised with Airbnb, we mutually agreed to provide you with a significant refund, given the circumstances. We acknowledge that there may have been some confusion regarding the refund amount or differing expectations. We apologize for any misunderstanding and affirm that we cooperated fully with Airbnb to arrive at an equitable resolution.
Your trust is of utmost importance to us, and we are dedicated to setting things right. The boiler issue was resolved within a few days after your departure from our property.
I must clarify that we offered you considerably more than a 50% refund; the only exception was the first night of your stay and the cleaning fee, which was consistent with the agreement we reached with Airbnb. In total, you received approximately 90% of the total price as a refund. We understand that this did not meet your expectations, as you mentioned repeatedly in our message exchange, during which we found ourselves in a challenging position as we endeavored to explain and apologize. Your frustration was evident, and you expressed a desire for a 100% refund.
I genuinely empathize with your disappointment and frustration, and I concur that such issues should not occur. However, we made every effort to address the situation promptly, presented multiple options, maintained continuous communication, and offered a fair refund. I would like to underscore the human element in these situations, acknowledging that while such issues should not arise, they can occasionally happen. What truly matters is our swift resolution with utmost dedication and understanding towards our clients, a principle we proudly uphold.

Nur leider haben wie gesagt ein paar Gegenstände gefehlt oder waren nicht im guten Zustand wie der Strandschirm oder der Grill. Und einmal mussten wir den Abfluss oben von der Dusche sauber machen weil der verstopft war und das beim ersten Mal wo wir geduscht haben.

The place itself was very good. Lots of extra blanked and beach towels. Small but nice kitchen. Only complaint is that there should be a proper coffee maker. Their is a nespresso machine but we had to buy coffee pods for it and it does not make great coffee. Also no soap or shampoo so don’t forget to bring some yourself.
Overall, a very nice 2 night stay in a beautiful location.

Das es kenen direkten Weg zum Strand gibt. Das Foto von der Terrasse aus mit dem Weg zum Meer ist irreführend, da von ausgegangen wird, dass dieser auxh direkt zum Strand führt. So musste man mit dem Aito außen herum fahren. Müsste so nicht sein.
