The space
Casa Amizade, located in this popular area of Aljezur, is the ideal place to make the most of what the West-Algarve offers. You won't have to wander far before you find a nice spot to dine out or enjoy a refreshing drink. This easy-going place is in the heart of the Costa Vicentina National Park, with fantastic beaches just a 5-minute drive away. Aljezur town is also a short drive and caters to everything you may need.
If you'd rather stay in, Casa Amizade is tastefully furnished and offers spacious accommodation, so you won't have to leave the villa if you don’t feel like it. Whether relaxing by the heated pool (available at an extra cost) or cooking alfresco using the built-in barbecue, this villa provides a comfortable base to enjoy sunny days and warm evenings without being too far from the action.
Four bedrooms have a private bathroom with a shower & toilet, and five bedrooms feature double doors opening to the garden or balcony. The lounge is open plan with a dining area, perfect for families or friends to gather and spend quality time together. The kitchen is modern, spacious, and airy—ensuring there's room for everyone, even with a party of ten. The terrace area overlooks the pool, making it the perfect spot for brunch, unwinding, and watching the kids splash around. If you'd prefer a different view, the upstairs balcony from the main bedrooms offers breathtaking ocean views and magical sunsets.

The neighborhood
Our sunny villa is located on the outskirts of Aljezur, offering you a quiet, private space without being in the middle of nowhere.
Vale de Telha is a small village in the middle of the Costa Vicentina nature reserve. It is very popular amongst families, nature lovers and surfers alike. A selection of restaurants & bars and a small supermarket are there for your day to day comforts.
Aljezur is located on the west coast of the Algarve in the heart of the natural park Costa Vicentina. An impressive beauty retains unforgettable landscapes between the mountain range and the sea. The coastline is formed uniquely by nature.
The sound of the waves creates a natural symphony, which serves as background music to long hikes or just a short walk on the seashore. Large sandy beaches and coves, divided by magnificent, rugged cliffs, with the consistent waves of the Atlantic Ocean, offer unique surfing conditions throughout the year.
Aljezur is enchanted with its charm and harmony of culture and nature. The region has countless culinary delights of high quality to offer. The sea provides fish and seafood, and the ground carries sweet potatoes and peanuts as delicacies count Medronho, a traditional fruit brandy, honey and other sweets. These are treats for culinary art and one of the many reasons to visit the region of Aljezur.
Getting around
Faro Airport takes you about 80 minutes by car to get to Vale da Telha. If you want to explore the area, a car is recommended as public transport is only available to Aljezur town but not up to Vale da Telha. Parking is free and abundant everywhere in this area.

The doors are very difficult to lock & unlock but all you have to do lean your weight on the door before turning the key. I wish this had been given as a tip at the start of our stay.
Electricity & water both cut out at various points during our stay. But only for 5-60 minutes each time. We reported this to the property manager the first time it happened and it seems to be normal for the area.
You're given 1 towel for the entire stay. We had to buy our own towels so we could have 1 for the pool & 1 for showers.
No mats in the bathrooms or in front of the doors and the whole house is tiled so coming in from the pool or out of the shower was slippery.
We stayed in the house for 7 days and the pool maintenance men came 3 separate days but they came twice on 2 of them.
The property management company is fabulous! Responded to issues literally in minutes.
We loved our stay & we'll definitely be back again, we'll just remember to pack towels & flashlights.

Das Haus hat ein paar Abnutzungserscheinungen diese könnten mit ein paar make over aber behoben werden. Alles in allem haben wir uns wie zuhause gefühlt, und sind sehr zufrieden!

- Nous n’avons pas souhaiter le chauffage piscine, nous aurions peut être du car en septembre l’eau été fraîche
- La villa était agréable, spacieuse, bien rangée
- L’environnement était calme, paisible et tranquille
Petit point négatif, notre vol a été annulé et nous n’avons pas pu être remboursé de la nuit perdue. Et un chien voisin qui malheureusement aboie toute la nuit. Même si les hôtes n’y peuvent rien, cela a perturbé notre sommeil.
La villa se trouve à une bonne heure d’Albufeira, la rue des bars donc beaucoup de route pour s’y rendre. Il y a néanmoins de très bons restaurants et bars à proximité des lieux (toujours en prennent la voiture).
Merci pour l’accueil, pour les instructions tres claires via l’application. Notre arrivée et notre départ se sont bien passés, bonne communication des hôtes.

Não haver água quente. Um dos quartos não tinha luz. Aquando da hora do check in a limpeza ainda não estava terminada. Tudo isto relatado aos responsáveis e sem qualquer resolução dos mesmos.

Bij aankomst kregen wij te horen dat je geen toiletpapier in de wc mag gooien maar werd er ook niet duidelijk aangegeven waar het vuil heen moest
wij hadden daarom de vuilniszak voor de deur gezet, die we een aantal dagen later op onze auto vonden
met een uber was het huis nauwelijks te vinden
en groen zie je alleen na het hek
de omgeving is vrij droog
voor de rest oogt het huis mooi hebben we gebruik gemaakt van de extra voorzieningen die voor plezier hebben gezorgd (trampoline, pingpong tafel, zwembad)

Thank you for your feedback. We’re glad to hear you enjoyed the amenities like the trampoline, ping pong table, and pool. To clarify, we provide one set of linens and towels per guest for the duration of your stay. For an additional cost, you can request a change of linens and towels, or you’re welcome to use the washing machine and laundry line in the garden. Especially in summer, linens and towels usually dry within 20-30 minutes.
As our villa is located in a nature park with a septic tank system, we ask our guests to dispose of toilet paper and other items in the bins provided to avoid blockages, as mentioned in our guidelines. We understand the situation with the garbage bag was unusual and likely a joke by drunk tourist or a rare incident.
Regarding the location, every Uber driver should be able to find the villa using Google Maps, and we provide guests with the exact Google Maps pin in our Rental Guide sent a week before arrival. We’re sorry to hear you had difficulty with this.
We appreciate your comments, but we believe they don’t fully reflect the quality of our property and services. We always strive to ensure our guests have a pleasant stay and are here to help with any concerns during your visit. I don't think we can be held responsible for uber drivers not finding locations, trashbags being put on top of your car or the house being located in the natures park ( as advertised).

Es stank extrem modrig und das Haus war eiskalt. Die Heizung konnte auch auf Anfrage nicht eingeschaltet werden, das Ausmass des Schimmelbefalls entdeckten wir nach und nach. Wir dachten, es sei lange nicht bewohnt und nicht gelüftet. Wir baten um Abhilfe, ein Reinigungsdienst wurde aufgeboten. Schimmelentfernung gehört in einem solchen Ausmass sicher nicht in bewohnte Häuser. Unseres Erachtens müssten alle Einbauschränke, die Küche und das Mauerwerk grundsaniert werden. Ein solches Haus zu vermieten ist grob fahrlässig und wir erwarten die komplette Rückerstattung ( ca 20 % wurde erstattet), da uns auch kein Hausersatz (nur Auszug ohne Zahlung der restl. Nächte) angeboten wurde.
Zudem nachts sehr laut, da ständiges Hundegebell bei den direkten Nachbarn.

Wir finde es sehr schade, zu lesen dass Sie ihren Aufenthalt von 4 Nächten nicht genießen konnten.
Das Haus hat in der Regel kein Problem mit Schimmel, jedoch gibt es bei allen Häusern in so direkter Nähre zum Meer eine hohe Luftfeuchtigkeit.
Wir haben Ihnen in der Tat eine Kompensieren angeboten und erstattet, welche von unserem Team und airbnb evaluiert wurde.
Wir haben auch wie von Ihnen bereits beschrieben eine Reinigung angeboten um die uns beschriebenen Mängel zu beheben.
Nach ihrem Aufenthalt wurde das Haus komplett gereinigt und mit einer speziellen Farbe neu gestrichen.
Alles ist nun im besten Zustand und wir würden uns freue Sie noch einmal bei uns begrüßen zu dürfen um Ihnen den wahren Komfort und die Vorzüge des Hauses zu zeigen.

Unfortunately, the sink was blocked when we got there and only on day 2 someone came to fix the situation. A lot of (dirty) water came up the washing machine, so we didn't dare to use it (smell).
Don't leave food outside as there are ants quickly taking over.
We overall enjoyed our stay, but there is room for improvement.

Die Kommunikation war immer bestens mit der Gastgeberin.
Das Haus eignet sich bestens für Ferien mit Freuenden, da jedes Zimmer ein eigenes Bad hat.
Restaurants und ein kleiner Supermarkt sind gut zu Fuss erreichbar.
Zum Strand braucht man jedoch ein Auto.

Viele kleinen Beschädigungen/Abnutzungen zeigen dass das Haus leider nicht sehr gut gepflegt ist. Es gab 3 Dingen die nicht akzeptabel waren aber die Hausverwaltung hat 2 relativ schnell korrigiert. Ein Zimmer und Bad waren nicht richtig geputzt. Das Haus verdient schon eine bessere Bewertung wenn die Hausverwaltung sich ein bisschen mehr Mühe gibt.
Die Buchung war ziemlich anstregend aber nicht wegen Booking (sehr gut geholfen).

Beautiful and quiet location near several beaches, shops and restaurants.
Great for a big family or group of friends with 4 bedrooms and 4 ensuite bathrooms. We loved the pool and we will definitely come back.

The house was very clean and well maintained. The pool was lovely to use .
Only thing to note is there is not a huge amount to do within walking distance so I would highly recommend a car.
Overall the hosts were brilliant and very responsive. Would definitely recommend and come back again.

quando cheguei a casa não estava limpa e havia uma janela e duas pressianas estragadas. A equipa de limpeza e manutenção voltou. As avarias ficaram reparadas após 2 horas mas a casa continuou suja. As empregadas nem tinham saco de aspirador novo para colocar. Despejaram lixo do saco cheio para poder voltar a aspirar a casa uma segunda vez. Vidros de copos partidos e jogos e cotão de há um mês debaixo das camas. Zona de lazer e mesa de refeição cheia de areia, não foi limpa. Relva a volta da piscina em mau estado, nada do que está nas fotografias e só há 4 espreguiçadeiras para 8 hóspedes.
A casa não tem um aspirador nem vassoura e pa e balde e esfregona em condições.
A máquina da loiça caiu-lhe a borracha interior a volta e embora tivesse pedido o arranjo 3 vezes só resolveram na véspera da saída e a máquina ficou sem funcionar.
O frigorífico não fazia frio suficiente.
A maioria das pressianas não fechava totalmente.
Manutenção e limpeza não são bem feitos antes de entrarem os hóspedes!!!!
