Newly renovated 3 bedroom townhouse in the heart of Tavira!
The space
Our home is set over three floors and is perfectly suited to people that want to enjoy the local cuisine and night life, that this historic, yet very modern town has to offer.
On entering the house, you walk into the open plan lounge and kitchen area. This has all of the appliances that you will need to cook some of the local fresh fish available at the nearby fish market, just minutes walk away.
On the second floor, you have a double and a twin bedroom and they'll share the family bathroom next door. Then going up to the second floor you have an loft style bedroom with ensuite bathroom.

The neighborhood
There is a beautiful coastline of unspoilt beaches within a short drive, which are crossed by the Ria Formosa Natural Reserve, considered to be one of the seven natural wonders of the Algarve. The Praia de Tavira is the region’s finest and most popular beach, which is connected to Tavira by a regular and inexpensive ferry, which departs from the city centre (10-minute walk from the apartment) and also from Quatro-Aguas. The Island is 11Km long and is thought to be one of the best beaches in the Algarve Region. Many companies offer boat tours, including kayaking and paddle boarding.
The town’s leisure centre is next door to the condominium which offers superb leisure facilities including a 25 metre, 8-lane indoor pool, 5 newly resurfaced tennis courts and an Astroturf.
Tavira is also a great location for golfers with a range of courses close by offering beautiful scenery in peaceful surroundings, including Monte Rei which has been ranked as the best course in the Algarve.
Tavira is well known for its quaint traditional streets, where old meets new, and is a great place to do some sightseeing and while away time in the sun with a glass of wine in one of its charming plazas or cobbled streets.
Getting around
There is public transport available in the area and all around the Algarve. But bus and trains do not go very often and a (rental) car is recommended

Thank you for sharing your feedback. We’re pleased to hear that you found the house beautiful and well-located. However, we’re truly sorry to hear about your experience with the moisture and we understand how this, along with the noise from the nearby construction, impacted your stay.
To address your concerns, our local host thoroughly inspected the property before your check-in, and everything was in good condition at that time. We are aware that you stayed during a period of heavy rain, which can sometimes cause the property to feel damp, especially if there hasn’t been adequate airing. If you had mentioned this earlier in your stay, we would have been more than happy to assist in resolving it.
We also understand how challenging the construction noise must have been, especially with a young child. Unfortunately, this was something we were not made aware of during your stay, and we regret that it affected your experience. We had no idea of that there was a construction near by, nor our local Host or other guest had stated that out, but we are double checking the facts at the moment.
We strive for excellent communication and are truly sorry if you felt this was lacking during your time with us. We always aim to ensure our guests feel heard and taken care of, and your feedback helps us improve.
We would have only really wished for communication from your side during your stay and not only after.
We believe that this review does not reflect our property at all and would love that have the change to welcome you back for a worry -free stay.

The house is full of character, and has everything you could need during your stay.
There’s lots of little details which make the difference, for example, soft throws to snuggle under, lots of hooks and hangers, fans, full length mirrors, big fluffy towels, a good sized tv with Netflix, great WiFi etc, etc.
The beds are comfy, the shower is great, and the location is amazing, in a central peaceful little area with orange trees growing outside.

One shower had no receptacle for the shower head and the other shower receptacle was loose.
The stairs could have been improved with a hand rail on the right side of the stairs.
The top floor bed was described as a twin but the two beds were pushed together and the sheets went across as if it was a double bed.

place itself is amazing, has all amenities, lot's of space, you don't hear any street noise. 50% of time we were able to park right in front of the door, in other 50% within 2 mins walk, and that was in august.
amazing place, amazing location. probably the best you can get if you want to enjoy the ocean and food.

No geral foi uma estadia agradável. Mas há pontos a melhorar tendo em consideração o preço cobrado.
Falta de ar condicionado no primeiro piso. Dadas as altas temperaturas, as ventoinhas não foram suficientes e as noites foram penosas nesses dois quartos.
As frigideiras estão em mau estado e precisam de ser mudadas. Não usámos as que estavam disponíveis dado a sua condição.
A falta de uma máquina de café expresso. Tivemos que levar uma nossa.
A limpeza também poderia ser melhor uma vez que uma das casas de banho não estava em condições, escuso-me aos pormenores. E no sofá da sala havia uma infestação de bichos de prata.
Os quartos do primeiro piso não tinham lençóis de cama, apenas edredon, o que para uma estadia no Verão em quartos sem ar condicionado não faz qualquer sentido. As fronhas também era pequenas para o tamanho das almofadas e as mesmas estavam ensalsichadas dentro das pequenas fronhas! Simplesmente não faz sentido...tivemos que arranjar duas fronhas pequenas por almofada para terem uma altura normal...

The inflexibility regarding dropping off our luggage as we had a very early flight and it would have been great if we had been allowed to leave our luggage in the property. we appreciated we could not get into the property until 4pm but why so I flexible about leaving luggage?
