The space
Our newly refurbished and styled house is located on the Boa Vista Golf and Spa Resort - Bayview Village, offering you a private space with a colourful decoration that gives it a warm and homely vibe while the modern appliances make sure you have all the comforts you might need.
This house with 3 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms and a separate office room with sofa bed and has everything you and your family need for a great stay in the Algarve. With the location of the Resort, you can spend your day near the pool or on the Golf track. Or to enjoy the city life of Lagos in less than 10 minutes by car.
This apartment is set in an exclusive and unique 5* star Resort with a large pool, sunbed area, children's pool, 18-hole golf course, two restaurants, tennis courts, playground, archery practice area, and Health & Fitness Spa with a heated pool, jacuzzi, sauna, steam bath, massage therapist, beauty treatments and a well-equipped gym, all this surrounded by the beautifully maintained resort.
You can also access the main resort Spa of Boa Vista. Extra costs apply, reservations can be made there at the Spa reception.
The situation of the Townhouse is excellent as you are just a few minutes by foot away from the communal indoor & outdoor pool, Jacuzzi and an on-resort bistro restaurant.
** PLEASE NOTE that there is some ongoing construction in the Boa Vista Bayview area. The disruption is minimal, but some noise can happen**

The neighborhood
Our home is located in the Boa Vista Golf resort near Lagos. At the resort, you will find an Essential Spa, a fully equipped gym, a large indoor pool, jacuzzi, sauna and steam room. A golf course and multiple restaurant options.
Lagos is the perfect holiday destination with a lively historical centre full of shops, (super)markets, a marina, bars and restaurants. It is known for its breathtaking cliffs and we highly recommend a boat, kayak or SUP tour to see them from the water. The town has a picturesque historical centre, great food and friendly people. As it is located on the coast you can enjoy several watersports activities such as surfing and sailing. There are many activities for all ages and preferences in this area.
Getting around
You can reach Lagos in about one hour by car from Faro Airport and car rental is available in the parking lot of the airport. By train it will take about 2,5 to 3 hours.
Lagos has a train station (for travel towards Faro, Lisbon and Porto) and a bus station (for buses towards the west-side of the south coast) but do note that buses and trains only go a few times per day. You can easily get around without a car and there are plenty of taxis and Ubers available, but if you really want to explore the area surrounding Lagos, a (rental) car will make your life a whole lot easier.
Other things to note
➤ Check-in time: 4 - 9pm. Check-in after 9pm must be confirmed before booking and costs 30 euros. Check-in after 11pm costs 50 euros. Please note that midnight is latest.
➤ Check-out time: before 10am
➤ There is construction work in the general area around the house
➤ There are security camera's around the property

Communication with the agency and check-in/out was super easy.

- appartment was clean but partially greasy
- drain in main shower was clogged
- small bowls for cereal or snacks would be nice
- wifi PW in the document map was wrong, could be updated
- wifi only available downstairs, not upstairs
- no sun beds
- bench and wooden table in the garden unstable
- grill dirty
- batteries for remote control of the garage extremely low

Ter de levar o lixo na saída. A garagem estava com muito lixo e cotão de há muito tempo. Poucos copos para utilizar, de resto tinha um pouco de tudo. O documento com as regras é demasiado extenso. Falta foco no assunto. As informações do wifi não estão corretas a pass é a do equipamento. Enquanto hosting, boas vindas, foi uma experiência fraca sem interação, pouco acolhedora. Não encontrámos esfregona e aspirador. Duas toalhas é insuficiente para utilizar (banho, cabelo e uso geral) e não havia toalhas extras. Um comando de garagem insuficiente para um grupo de pessoas, sabendo o número de utilizadores indicados na reserva. Faltam duas cadeiras na sala, para utilização na lotação máxima da casa. Fica difícil receber convidados. Pouca variedade de restauração nas redondezas, necessário ir mais próximo de Lagos.

Seul bémol, la maison est louée pour 8 personnes mais les tables (intérieure et extérieure) sont pour 6. Le salon sur la terrasse est pour 4.
La vaisselle est en quantité suffisante mais les casseroles pas du tout adaptées. Bref, quelques investissements seraient nécessaires pour que le séjour soit vraiment parfait.
Je recommande tout de même en espérant que ces petits investissements seront fait rapidement

The location required a car, although Ubers are very cheap the nearest shop was not in walkable distance. The actual complex could do with a bit more on it i.e. small shop, small bar or coffee shop.

La casa è come in foto e non delude le aspettative.
Gli utensili e le cose di prima necessità sono ridotte al minimo o assenti, niente spugne o sacchetti immondizia ad esempio... quindi bisogna rifornirsene prima .
Ho trovato un'infestazione di formiche purtroppo, erano sia nelle camere che nella cucina, ho trovato borse e valige piene...come assistenza in merito mi è stato detto di acquistare a mie spese uno spray e disinfestare da sola le camere.

Sehr zu empfehlen ist auch ein Trip zum Praia da Luz oder nach Luz.
Debbie und Lexi sind klasse Hosts und immer für einen da, wenn man mal was braucht. Wir haben uns in Portugal verliebt und würden immer wieder herkommen.

6 nuits , pour 3 couples, nous avions nos chambres et nos salles de bain.
Nous étions près du golf et près de la piscine, intérieure et extérieure, sauna et autre.
Tout était fonctionnel et propre.
Seul ennui, la porte de garage, dont le mécanisme laissait à désirer.
4 autres nuits au nord, dont 2 à Porto et une à Lisbonnes !

Die Ausstattung an Porzellan und Pfannen war sehr minimalistisch. Zu wenig Tassen, Müslischalen wären sicher auch sinnvoll. 1 Küchenhandtuch ist deutlich zu wenig.

Perfekt für Familien ist die Lage im Resort, die Pools sind super auch für Kleine und fast direkt am Haus.
Alles im Haus ist sehr gepflegt, die Bilder entsprechen dem Haus zu 100%.
Die drei Schlafzimmer mit eigenem Bad sind sehr hübsch eingerichtet. Das vierte Schlafzimmer ist im Erdgeschoss und hat ein recht unbequemes Einzelbett. Ich würde sagen, dass diese Unterkunft für 6 Personen plus 2 Kleinkinder geeignet ist. Für ein Baby ist alles da und bis auf die Treppe ist es auch sehr sicher.
Die Ausstattung der Küche ist recht umfangreich, man hat eigentlich alles was man braucht, das Geschirr etc haben wir nach Anreise aber nochmal gereinigt.
Die Kommunikation hat sehr gut geklappt und war sehr hilfreich.
Was man wissen sollte, aktuell wird gegenüber ein ganzer Straßenzug neu gebaut und es könnte tagsüber zur Lärmbelästigung kommen.

There is some very minor disturbance from construction nearby but it didn’t detract at all from our stay. We had 4 pools, a sauna, steam room, jacuzzi, games room and gym almost all to ourselves. The few guests / residents we met were friendly and very respectful of shared spaces. The house would be ideal for kids as it’s self contained and the back garden is completely cut off from surrounding roads. There’s lots to do within the complex itself or there are a number of beaches and activities to take part in within a short drive. We would give this a stellar rating and will be back again soon! The house is huge and beautiful, with the pool next to it and we even used the barbecue.
It is 10 minutes away from everything by car (beaches, supermarket, town centre, restaurants...).
We would definitely repeat the experience.

De bedden in het huisje liggen lekker. Het enige 'minpuntje' is dat de keuken niet zoveel kookgerei heeft. Voor de rest echt een aanrader!
