Explore Lagos and its surroundings while staying in this new, stylish, modern 3 bed, 4 bath townhouse, located on the BoaVista Golf Resort in Lagos. Your accommodation is part of Bayview Village, an exclusive club available only to Bayview residents and their guests. It has a pool/gym/sauna/game room and more, just a minute walk from the house!
The space
Whether you want to spend your day playing golf, relaxing by the pool and spa, soaking up sun on the beach or exploring the picturesque town of Lagos and the wider Algarve area, our newly refurbished 3 bedroom, 4 bathroom townhouse is the perfect starting point. The modern and tastefully done but homely decorations of the private home will make you feel welcome and comfortable from the get go. It sleeps up to 8 guests in 2 double rooms, 1 twin room, each with an en-suite bathroom and one separate office room with sofa bed and bathroom just outside the room.
The house is fully equipped with an open living area, dining table, lounge area, and kitchen island. The kitchen includes all modern appliances and kitchenware to cook up a feast. The living room opens onto an enclosed garden area with a dining table and barbecue overlooking the pool area.
This townhouse is located in Bayview Village, a new addition to the exclusive and unique 5* star BoaVista Golf Resort. The resort has a large pool, sunbed area, children's pool, 18-hole golf course, two restaurants, tennis courts, playground, archery practice area, and Health & Fitness Spa with another heated pool, Jacuzzi, sauna, steam bath, massage therapist, beauty treatments and a well-equipped gym, all this surrounded by the beautifully maintained resort.
The townhouse's location is excellent as you are a minute away from the communal indoor & outdoor pool, Jacuzzi, sauna and gym and a few minutes stroll from the on-resort bistro restaurant.
! Please note that around the house, there are several building constructions still ongoing in the Bayview Village area, the noise is minimal, but there will be some at times.

The neighborhood
Our home is located in the Boa Vista Golf resort near Lagos. At the resort, you will find an Essential Spa, a fully equipped gym, a large indoor pool, Jacuzzi, sauna and steam room. A golf course and multiple restaurant options.
Lagos is the perfect holiday destination with a lively historical centre full of shops, (super)markets, a marina, bars and restaurants. It is known for its breathtaking cliffs and we highly recommend a boat, kayak or SUP tour to see them from the water. The town has a picturesque historical centre, great food and friendly people. As it is located on the coast you can enjoy several watersports activities such as surfing and sailing. There are many activities for all ages and preferences in this area.
Getting around
You can reach Lagos in about one hour by car from Faro Airport and car rental is available in the parking lot of the airport. By train it will take about 2,5 to 3 hours.
Lagos has a train station (for travel towards Faro, Lisbon and Porto) and a bus station (for buses towards the west-side of the south coast) but do note that buses and trains only go a few times per day. You can easily get around without a car and there are plenty of taxis and Ubers available, but if you really want to explore the area surrounding Lagos, a (rental) car will make your life a whole lot easier.
Other things to note
➤ Check-in time: 4 - 9pm. Check-in after 9pm must be confirmed before booking and costs 30 euros. Check-in after 11pm costs 50 euros. Please note that midnight is latest.
➤ Check-out time: before 10am
ℹ SEF REQUIREMENTS. All property owners in Portugal have a legal requirement to report tourists' and guests information to Serviço de Estrangeiros e Fronteiras (known for short as, SEF). To comply with legal requirements, from a week before arrival we shall send to you a link to our SEF form for you to complete and send back to us prior to your arrival. It is mandatory requirement.

Die Öffnungszeiten der Sauna sind nicht sehr günstig - nur von 13 bis 17 Uhr. Wenn man nicht Golf spielt, gibt es nicht einmal einen Platz zum Spazierengehen. Es gibt keine Orte, an denen man mit seinem Kind Spaß haben kann. Aber dank der Nähe zur Stadt sind viele Plätze und Shops mit Auto erreichbar.

For golfing purposes this is an ideal place and location, with the golf club only few hundred meters away.
Due to its location it was also very peaceful and very much suited for recharging the battery, so to speak.

property has many wonderful qualities. The three bedrooms each connect to a bathroom. The main areas are spacious and our children enjoyed the pool and outdoor grass area. AC in each room was very appreciated. All modern appliances. Our wash dried in less than a day.
Construction was outside our door but luckily did not start until after 8 am and finished early enough not to be disruptive to our stay as we spent our days sight seeing. There were some things that required attention and our hosts were very responsive. Overall we enjoyed our stay. Lagos is beautiful.

Der Bayview wurde durch ein riesige Baustelle, vor und hinter dem Hau sowie um den Pool herrum verwehrt, dies war in der Anzeige auf den Bildern nicht zu ersehen!
Der Baulärm war in der Anzeige als zeitweilig beschrieben, begann jedoch morgens um spätestens 8.00 und endet nicht vor 18.15 Uhr, wir sprechen von gehämmer, geklopfe, Kreissägen ......
Bedeutete kein Frühstück, kein Mittag- oder Abendessen auf dem Balkon, da zu laut!!!
Das Haus als solches war sauber und sehr stilvoll eingerichtet, Geschirr und Schüsseln waren zu knapp bemessen z.B 6 Tassen für 7 Erwachsene .
Wir waren shr enttäuscht!

Communications from host company was very generic/impersonal but hosts on the ground were fantastic. Cot was not there on arrival but was quickly rectified and they were available for questions and happy to help.
We travelled with a toddler. Location beside the children’s and indoor pool was perfect for us- made things very easy.
Campus very quiet otherwise as described but nice and close to Lagos for dinner out (we found Lagos extremely child-friendly in the restaurants).
Overall a great stay for us, exactly what we wanted. It is a very quiet spot so if looking for action this might not be the best spot ( though we were there off season so maybe the summer is busier).
Building work currently taking place took away from the peace a little but it wasn’t too much of a bother.
Overall very happy with our stay, thank you!

There is also an available BBQ and Cooking appliances, although you might consider bringing bigger cooking pans for a family like my own that enjoys having meals at home.
Shopping centre nearby. Would def. recommend a car to commute from and to the different beaches available if you are keen on exploring Lagos.
All and all a great experience and would def. recommend.

When we arrived we had to make a few alterations to the downstairs room for my elderly dad. Debbie was incredibly helpful and simply wanted to do the best for him, nothing was too much trouble.
We will absolutely stay here again.

Refiro que a nivel de tachos loiça e outros apetrechos de cozinha é bastante incompleta. De referir que Lagos é uma zona lindissima mas quase sempre com algum vento.

Gym (one of the best views too)and indoor pool (sauna and steam room) which came in handy when it rained .
And top it off we had the best local hosts - Debbie and Lexie for whom nothing was too much trouble . Great experience all round.
There is building work ongoing and we were aware before we arrived . Didn’t bother us but some people might not like this .
We would definitely stay again !
