Kaag Resort is a boutique apartment complex with an open waterway to the Kaag and Braassemer Lakes. The ideal spot for anyone who is passionate about water!
Your apartment is spacious (78m2), bright and completely private on the third floor. You will have 2 bedrooms and an open plan living room, fully equipped kitchen with modern appliances. The sofa in the living room easily converts into a comfortable sofa bed for 2. The bathroom and toilet are separate and there are French windows which overlook the marina and the water.

The neighborhood
The Kaag Resort recreation apartments are located right beside the river Leede. This river is an open waterway to the Kaag Lakes, the Braassemmer Lake and the city centre of Leiden. The perfect location to take a tour by boat on Saturdays across the culinary market or pay a visit to one of the cosy little restaurants on the water.
The surroundings offer a wealth of recreation possibilities. The golf course is within walking distance and the same applies to the sauna, tennis courts, sports school, restaurants, supermarket and the centre of Warmond. The Warmonder forest is just opposite the resort. You can easily reach the beach for a nice walk with a fresh sea breeze.
This central location ensures that all possibilities are within reach. Cities such as Amsterdam, Haarlem, Leiden, Delft and The Hague can be reached within 30min by car!
Near Kaag Resort, there is a charming marina, a railway line, and an air traffic zone. Additionally, boats frequently navigate the nearby rivers and lakes, enhancing the picturesque character of the region. While the location offers beautiful views and convenient access to transportation, it may also come with some noise from passing trains, overhead airplanes, and watercraft traffic.
Getting around
You will be able to explore Warmond and its surroundings on foot or by using the public buses. Regional buses and trains will get you to the surrounding towns and cities, but if you really want to explore the general area, a (hire) car will make your life easier.

Perhaps, in all my European travels, I’ve never stayed in a place with such a beautiful and relaxing view. Located near the village of Warmond, this resort overlooks the river and its dock, where several boats are moored. The constant movement of the boats is hypnotic — so much so that in the evenings, my wife and I would sit by the window and watch the Dutch live in perfect harmony with nature.

Der Ausblick auf der Wohnzimmerseite ist schön!
Die Architektur des Gebäudes ist interessant.
Eine Renovierung könnte nicht schaden.
Alles insgesamt recht hellhörig - vielleicht ist das aber auch eher normal in den Niederlanden!?
Als wir die Tür zuzogen und merkten, dass beide Schlüssel in der Wohnung waren, wirde uns schnell vor Ort geholfen 😊
Die Gegend rundherum ist außergewöhnlich, es gibt viel zu sehen und zu erkunden

My family had a great stay at Rental Valley. Note that the elevator can be a bit noisy in the glass hall, otherwise instructions were very clear for checking in and out, the apartment was very clean. If you have bikes (or a car) supermarket and restaurants are close by. (Less so if you are only by foot)

Området var lite avsides, långt och skönt område. Hörde eller såg inte någon på kvällarna. Rummet var städat och fint när vi fick komma in. Väldigt stora rum var större i verkligheten än på bilderna kändes det som. Allt fanns i lägenheten som man kan tänka sig. Bra eller dåligt men förstår fortfarande inte om det var en mikro eller en ugn som vi hade i köket. Skulle använda den för matlagningen men inga ugnsform så vi antog att det var en modell större mikrovågsugn.
Lite oklart på om hur vi skulle ta oss in när vi kom. Fick aldrig något meddelande om kod. Fick ringa och fråga då kom de springde med nyckel och sa att de var sena med städningen. Brandlarmet gick i huset så våran familj utrymmde lägenheten , men de var bara vi och antar att det var någon som lagade mat. Men dålig info för brandlarmet slutade tjuta och ingen mer info senare. Så vi gick upp igen då det inte var någon som gick ut eller någon brandkår som kom

Appartement très confortable, parfait pour nous 6. Très bien situé, très central (Keukenhof, Amsterdam).
Il n'y a pas de grille-pain mais un four micro-ondes grill que nous n'avions pas identifié comme tel au départ.
Linge provenant de la blanchisserie, comme à l'hôtel 🙂 et machine à laver séchante dans la buanderie (bonne surprise car ne figure pas dans la liste des équipements).

Really enjoyed our stay here with the gorgeous juliet balcony overlooking the harbour. Check in was also easy with the key lock box - we had no issues with the property! It's a little far out of town, we had to get the bus into Leiden which aren't super regular (every 30 mins), but only 10~ mins once you're on! For the price it's good value though.

We stayed at this location at the beginning of February with my best friend and our children—six people in total. The house comfortably accommodated us, and its location was excellent: easy parking, just 3 minutes to a supermarket, and only 15 minutes by car to museums, Leiden city center, and the seashore. However, we found that the apartment lacked games or other activities to entertain the kids. The TV offered only Dutch channels and no Netflix, which was disappointing, and I regretted not bringing my laptop, especially since there was an HDMI cable available. Additionally, some amenities could use an upgrade: the coffee machine needs renewing, and the number of plates and cutlery was limited. We also had to run the dishwasher after every breakfast and dinner. Although the shower equipment could benefit from some care, we still enjoyed our stay, particularly since we only used the house for overnight stays and meals.

Good place but appliances were not checked before like the stove making an electrical mass, the hood not working and wifi as well. I am a usual of this address but better checks should happen between guests especially as check out is as early as 10am and check in at 4pm so there is ample time for a proper check!

Great and spacious appartement with an excellent quality-price ratio ! Rental Valley instructions were very clear and useful before, during, and at the end of the stay. A lot of parking space is also available and easily accessible. The best thing is also that I have nothing to complain about.

Ganz schwach war der Informationsfluss von Rental Valley. Keine aktive Kontaktaufnahme vor Bezug. Erst nach dreimaligem Nachfragen und fast eine Stunde nach der offiziellen Bezugszeit bekamen wir den Check in Code.
Nachfragen bei e domizil wurden, mit Wartezeit von mehreren Tagen, jeweils beantwortet.
Leider war es nicht möglich, einen Babybett und Kinderstuhl hinstellen zu lassen. Schade, ansonsten wäre die Wohnung familientauglich.

La comunicación ha sido rápida y fluida en todo momento, estando atentos a cualquier aspecto.
En cuanto al alojamiento se refiere era ideal. El apartamento se encuentra en una zona residencial con vistas al lago tal y como se anuncia, siendo una zona muy tranquila y bonita. El acceso a la misma era muy fácil, además de contar con parking propio donde dejar al coche.
A todo lo anterior le sumo el orden y la limpieza del alojamiento. Nada más entrar olía a limpio. El apartamento era muy espacioso, y todo estaba en su sitio. Sin lugar a dudas un lugar totalmente recomendable y para repetir. 10/10.

Globalement satisfaits mais problème de wifi que nous n’avons jamais pu obtenir malgré la communication et les explications données par Rental Valley.
Le lendemain matin, pas d’eau chaude… donc 6 douches froides et vivifiantes. Mais heureusement réactivité de l’hôte et à notre retour, l’eau était chaude.
Il manquait une 6e assiette plate, un couteau. Mais sinon le logement est agréable, spacieux avec une jolie vue.
Parfait pour notre famille.
Je recommande tout de même.

Wir waren mit dem Auto da, dort hat man gute Parkmöglichkeiten direkt vor der Unterkunft! Eine sehr ruhige Gegend mit einem schönen Ausblick. Ausstattung wie beschrieben war auch super, in der Küche hat man alles was man braucht. Uns hat nichts gefehlt und waren super zufrieden :) Aufjedenfall zu empfehlen!

Ruim en schoon appartement, mooi uitzicht op het jachthaventje. Inrichting was wel erg sober (een extra zetel en droogrek voor handdoeken zou wel fijn zijn) en keukenuitrusting (bv. bestek) beetje beperkt, maar algemeen alles prima in orde.

L'appartamento è molto grande e ben fornito, sia come suppellettili della cucina e dotazione di base (sale, zucchero), sia come elettrodomestici (lavastoviglie e lavatrice).
Ha a disposizione il parcheggio, che è molto utile considerato che la posizione del residence richiede di avere la propria macchina.
Le due stanze da letto hanno le finestre sulla balconata di accesso ai vari appartamenti, per cui potrebbe esserci qualche problema di privacy e di rumore dall'esterno, ma durante il nostro soggiorno non ci sono stati problemi.
Le comunicazioni con l'host sono asettiche (self check-in e self check-out) ma le istruzioni sono chiare e complete.

This was my second stay in a Rental Valley's appartement. As it was also the case the first time, everything went smoothly and as planned thanks to the very clear instructions. I really recommend this building for short and longer stay near Leiden !

Die Unterkunft war sehr gut gelegen und einfach zu finden. Dadurch, dass wir schon früher als geplant an der Unterkunft angekommen sind, haben wir gleich telefonisch Kontakt aufgenommen, um schon früher in die Unterkunft zu gelangen. Das hat sehr gut funktioniert und wir konnten mithilfe eines Schlüsselkastens einchecken. Die Wohnung war genauso wie beschrieben und insgesamt recht sauber. Folgendes wäre noch verbesserungswürdig: die Wohnung ist auf 6 Personen ausgelegt, allerdings gab es ein paar Dinge, die auf 4 Personen ausgelegt waren: wir haben keine Bettwäsche für das Schlafsofa gefunden, für 2 Personen fanden wir auch keine Handtücher und das Geschirr und Besteck reichte auch nicht für 6 Gäste. Das Geschirr war auch bei unserer Ankunft nicht besonders sauber, genauso die Bettwäsche.
Alles in allem war der Aufenthalt trotzdem sehr angenehm und wir kommen gerne wieder! Auch der Ausblick und die Umgebung ist sehr schön!

Die Größe der Wohnung, die Sauberkeit, das gute Wlan und die unkomplizierte Übergabe des Schlüssels, der tolle Blick auf einen Anlegeplatz für Boote.
Alle Räume waren regelrecht schlecht beleuchtet. Die Lichtkörper waren zu gering gewählt und zudem waren einige Lampen komplett defekt. Die Geräte in der Küche (Wasserkocher, Kaffemaschine) sind sichtbar älter und nach dem Erleben der durchgeknallten Lampen stellte sich die Frage nach der Leistungsfähigkeit. Bad und WC haben kein Fenster, die Belüftung erfolgt über die geöffnete Tür zum Flur. Die Möblierung der Wohnung ist funktional ausreichend, gemütlich ist die Wohnung jedoch damit noch nicht. Wir hätten uns über mehr Wohnlichkeit sehr gefreut.

Considering the difficulty in finding a housing, they offered a reasonable price for a group stay. It is 15-20 minutes bike to the city center (depends on your biking skill) and there is a 15 minutes walk bus stop!

Die Unterkunft hat ihren Zweck erfüllt. Die Lage ist gut, der kleine Ort liegt zwischen den Städten Amsterdam und Den Haag, sodass man gute Tagesausflüge machen kann (wir haben die Ausflüge mit der Bahn gemacht). Mit dem Auto ist man auch schnell am Strand. Die Ausstattung war zufriedenstellend (Bettwäsche, Handtücher, Klopapier, etwas Seife, etwas Geschirrspülmittel, ein paar Geschirrspültabs).
Die Unterkunft war leider nicht wirklich sauber. Die Mikrowelle war noch vom Vorgänger dreckig. Die Türgriffe an den Küchenschränken klebten. Die Fenster dreckig und voller Spinnen. Das Sofa ziemlich abgenutzt und ziemlich klein. Für den Preis hätte ich eine bessere Unterkunft erwartet.

Stor og rummelig lejlighed. Med gaskomfur og en lille kombiovn. Lagner og betræk var på sengene.
Fik ikke koden til nøgleboksen med nøglerne til lejligheden. Måtte ringe efter hjælp. Lejligheden var slet ikke den man så på billederne og havde ikke terrasse. Der ligger en togbane 50 meter fra lejligheden hvor der kom tog hver 5 min. Lejligheden lå i et lille industrikvarter så lidt larm i hverdagene.
