The space
Indulge in the comfort and luxury of this great apartment. The space has a high-quality finish, with modern equipment and accessories, including satellite TV, air conditioning, electric window locking system, a fully equipped kitchen with Siemens appliances, and "Roca" sanitary ware.
Our apartment is situated at the Baía da Luz resort. Architecturally, the resort was designed with Arab influences, in a Roman style, and is divided into three buildings, which form a pleasant feeling of an inner village.
➤ Please Note! From Oct 28th until March 1st, exterior paint works for all buildings in our condominium are planned. We don't expect a significant disruption for our property from these works, but want to be upfront about it

★ The baby and family pool are heated from May to October. Despite not heated, they are open and can be used
The Italian Alloro restaurant enjoys a view over the pool, leisure, and garden areas. For those interested in Golf, there are 4 Golf courses nearby, in the space of 5 to 20 minutes by car.
➤ We usually welcome families with children or responsible adults because the apartment is part of a quiet condominium with lots of residential owners.
➤ Parties and other disturbances are not accepted.

The neighborhood
Praia da Luz is a small resort town on the incredible Algarve coastline 10km west of Lagos. Praia da Luz, or just Luz, was originally a tiny fishing village on the edge of the sandy bay surrounded by cliffs. This sandy bay sheltered by cliffs is a perfect famiit'seach destination. Although the town is now more of a holiday resort, it still retains some of the original features from its historical past. The bigger city Lagos is less than 10 minutes drive away, and you will find many small beach towns and breathtaking beaches in the other direction. Perfect for family, beach and watersport (surf) trips.
Lagos is the perfect holiday destination with a lively historical centre full of shops, (super)markets, a marina, bars and restaurants. It is known for its breathtaking cliffs, and we highly recommend a boat, kayak or SUP tour to see them from the water. The town has a picturesque historical centre, great food and friendly people. It is located on the coast you can enjoy several watersports activities such as surfing and sailing. There are many activities for all ages and preferences in this area.
Getting around
You can reach Lagos in about one hour by car from Faro Airport; car rental is available in the airport's parking lot. By train, it will take about 2,5 to 3 hours. In addition, you can walk into town and the beach from the apartment.
Lagos has a train station (for travel towards Faro, Lisbon and Porto) and a bus station (for buses towards the west-side of the south coast), but do note that buses and trains only go a few times per day. You can quickly get around without a car, and plenty of taxis and Uber's are available, but if you want to explore the area surrounding Lagos, a (rental) car will make your life much easier.

ℹ SEF REQUIREMENTS. All property owners in Portugal have a legal requirement to report tourists' and guesttourists'tion to Serviço de Estrangeiros e Fronteiras (known for short as SEF). To comply with legal requirements, from a week before arrival, we shall send you a link to our SEF form for you to complete and send back to us before arrival. It is a mandatory requirement.

Cancelation policy
Cancelation policy
Guest can cancel free of charge up to 14 days before arrival. After this date, 100% of the total booking amount is due. Cleaning fees will be refunded to the guest in case of cancellation within 14 days of arrival. We strongly advise taking cancellation insurance for your trip to avoid possible financial loss.

They advertise it as with a shared pool , but supply no pool towels . You have to pay per day for a towel and leave a deposit for pool towels because it is privately rented . Better the guests know this so take their own pool towels .

We felt we got a poor return for the amount charged;
1. a cleaning fee was charged but no cleaner visited the apartment over the stay (very poor in comparison to our precious experiences in Luz over 12 years)
2. a management fee charged but no towel change and only the minutest toiletries provided
3. No information booklet and the website is "coming soon"
Overall disappointing.

We wanted to watch some tv at night and the tv wouldn’t work properly. We only had a few English speaking channels. Thats ok if you just want to watch continuous news rubbish channels. Anything else like Netflix you just get a blank screen. I emailed them so many times until I was sick emailing. They just said we weren’t connected to the Wifi all the time, which we were. I don’t understand why someone wouldn’t get off their back side and come and set our tv up correctly. I wouldn’t rent off this company again.

There really wasn’t any negatives the only thing I could complain about was the people above making noise with chairs scraping across the floor but we were out most of the days anyway .

In einem Bad gibt es an der Decke ein bisschen Schimmel. Da das Bad innen liegend ist, also kein Fenster hat, ist dies aber wohl nicht zu verhindern. Check Out schon um 10h, sollte auf min 11h gesetzt werden.

L'appartement est nettement plus grand que ce qu'on peut croire sur les photos.

Das Apartment hatte alles was man braucht - und noch viel mehr : Kaffee , Tee , Salz ,Gewürze etc.
Als Willkommensgeschenk gab es eine Flasche Wein vom Gastgeber.
Wir hatten einen sehr schönen Urlaub und können das Apartment nur weiter empfehlen !
