The space
Step inside the doors of Casa Da Bauhinia Vale da Telha and be welcomed by the heart of the home - a spacious kitchen and dining area, complete with stunning views of the private pool. Cosy in the TV room for a family movie night or bask in the natural light, panoramic ocean, and Natural Park views from the first floor.
The ground floor boasts an entrance hall with a staircase, a fully equipped kitchen, utility room, dining area, TV room, double bedroom, family bathroom, and double bedroom. As you make your way to the first floor, take in the large landing with sea views and access to a terrace with ocean views. The master bedroom is double aspect and has an ensuite with access to the patio and a private balcony with a garden view. The remaining bedrooms also have an ensuite and private balcony with ocean views.
Outside, the property features a saltwater swimming pool, covered and first-floor terraces, a mature, fully fenced garden, a Pétanque boules court, a driveway, and a garage with a laundry area. Experience luxury living at its finest at Casa Da Bauhinia Vale da Telha.

The neighborhood
Located on the western coast of the Algarve and nestled within the Vicentina Natural Park, Vale da Telha is a sought-after destination for young families, surfers, and nature lovers alike. The area is popular due to its unspoiled rugged coastline, clean beaches, temperate weather, and natural environment. The beaches of Arrifana and Monte Clerigo are 5-10 minutes by car. The area offers an array of restaurants, cafes, and two mini-supermarkets on its doorstep. The town of Aljezur is 10 minutes by car and has everything for daily living.
Getting around
From Faro Airport, it takes you about 80 minutes by car to get to Vale de Telha. If you want to explore the area, a car is recommended as public transport is only available to Aljezur town but not up to Vale da Telha. Parking is free and abundant everywhere in this area.

ℹ SEF REQUIREMENTS. All property owners in Portugal have a legal requirement to report tourists' and guests' information to Serviço de Estrangeiros e Fronteiras (known short as SEF). To comply with legal requirements, from a week before arrival, we shall send you a link to our SEF form for you to complete and send back to us before your arrival. It is a mandatory requirement.

Cancelation policy
Guest can cancel free of charge up to 14 days before arrival. After this date, 100% of the total booking amount is due. Cleaning fees will be refunded to the guest in case of cancellation within 14 days of arrival. We strongly advise taking cancellation insurance for your trip to avoid possible financial loss.

The pool was fantastic, with plenty of fun floaties and accessories that the kids absolutely loved. The only downside was a clogged sink in the kitchen, which made it difficult to keep the area clean and tidy. Unfortunately, the issue couldn’t be resolved during our stay.
Overall, we had a great time and would definitely recommend this place!

The pool and outdoor activities will keep you busy enough to forget there are beaches nearby. If you like sunsets, take a stroll down the street to watch from a cliff side. There are plenty of quiet smaller beaches within a short 10-15 min drive as well.
There are very good food recommendations that the hosts give and cute little towns nearby to walk around for food and shops.
Everything was very clean, the beds were incredibly comfortable, and the kitchen was stocked with everything we needed. The host contacted us to make sure we had everything we need and was very attentive.
We would definitely come back!

Inside the bedrooms all had ceiling fans which kept us all nice and cool in the evening, even with extreme heat warnings. We had guests which were allergic to duck feathers and they went out of their way to change the cushions in the bedroom and even the sofa! We loved the open plan kitchen/dining/living area which meant we could cook and keep an eye on the pool and indoor spaces quickly and easily. Overall we loved it!

Was brilliant for walkers and people who love wild flowers as next to the fishermens trail. House manager was very helpful.
Downside was that needed a car as no transport and booking in arrangements were complicated.

Silvia sent some very useful, local information about beaches, restaurants and places to visit. We based what we did using this information and had a very happy time here. We've never been to this part of Portugal before and really enjoyed the quiet, rural area. The beaches are beautiful and spacious with excellent surf rental companies. I recommend Boa onda at Monte Clerigo beach.

It is the perfect place to relax, unwind and have some quality family time, the selection of board games was brilliant for the evenings.
Our host Silvia was great, friendly and provided us with lots of local knowledge that mad our stay even more enjoyable.

It’s a quiet neighborhood.
We enjoyed walking to the ruins and doing part of the scenic cliff walk.
Arrifana beach is a short drive away and lovely with beach cafes and restaurants.

The villa was really well presented and very well equipped. It was just as described and we couldn't be happier with our stay.
We knew the area already so knew we had a great location - nice and quiet and super close to the beaches.
Our children loved the big pool (not heated but we were aware of this so were prepared with wetsuits!) and the whole outdoor area was great for all the family to enjoy. The beds were really comfy and the house stayed nice and cool in the evenings.
We would definitely book this villa again.
