Kaag Resort is a boutique apartment complex with an open waterway to the Kaag and Braassemer Lakes. The ideal spot for anyone who is passionate about water!
Your apartment is spacious (91m2), bright and completely private on the first floor. You will have 2 bedrooms with comfortable boxsprings and a 40m2 open plan living room, fully equipped kitchen with modern appliances. The sofa in the living room easily converts into a comfortable sofa bed for 2. The bathroom with shower and toilet. And you have a private balcony (15m2) that overlooks the marina and the water.

The neighborhood
The Kaag Resort recreation apartments are located right beside the river Leede. This river is an open waterway to the Kaag Lakes, the Braassemmer Lake, and the city center of Leiden. The perfect location to take a tour by boat on Saturdays across the culinary market or pay a visit to one of the cozy little restaurants on the water.
The surroundings offer a wealth of recreation possibilities. The golf course is within walking distance and the same applies to the sauna, tennis courts, sports school, restaurants, supermarket and the center of Warmond. The Warmonder forest is just opposite the resort. You can easily reach the beach for a nice walk with a fresh sea breeze.
This central location ensures that all possibilities are within reach. Cities such as Amsterdam, Haarlem, Leden, Delft, and The Hague can be reached within 30min by car!
Near Kaag Resort, there is a charming marina, a railway line, and an air traffic zone. Additionally, boats frequently navigate the nearby rivers and lakes, enhancing the picturesque character of the region. While the location offers beautiful views and convenient access to transportation, it may also come with some noise from passing trains, overhead airplanes, and watercraft traffic.
Getting around
You will be able to explore Warmond and its surroundings on foot or by using the public buses. Regional buses and trains will get you to the surrounding towns and cities, but if you really want to explore the general area, a (hire) car will make your life easier.

Not a great location if you don’t have a car. Have to take a bus to go anywhere. Bus stop is not nearby. No bike rental nearby. When contacting the resort help desk by email on where to find the bike rental they sent us off on a wild goose chase to a non existent bike shop in Warmond.
Flat is very nice but is in an echoey building. People start to move about outside leaving their flats from 6am onwards - there are notices outside for people to be quiet between 10 pm and 8am. But they are not. Bedrooms face the outside corridors so it is noisy if people are walking about outside. Take earplugs.
No problem at night - it’s peaceful. The problem is being woken up early in the morning. On one morning cleaners started in the flat above us at 7am, hoovering and banging & chatting. They didn’t even close the front door whilst they cleaned! It was very noisy - not somewhere you can have a lie in.

Wunderschöner Ort und Landschaften mit viele Seen.
Empfehlung ans Meer Noordwijk, Niederlande 20-30 min. Fahrzeit mit dem Auto und Parken kostet die Tageskarte 10,- am keinen Parkplatz am Risenrad.
Nach Amsterdam ca. 1Std. und Den Haag ca. 38min. Fahrzeit. Wer ein Fahrrad hat, sollte es mitnehmen, die Fahrzeit o.g. Angaben verdoppelt sich mit dem Fahrrad.
Die Unterkunft ist sehr schön und sauber, leider ist die Couch nicht so bequem und in dem Zimmern muss man sich die hellhörigkeit leider im Kauf nehmen.
Im allem eine gute Umgebung und eine gute Zeit gehabt.

Niets eigenlijk..moesten alleen wel even zoeken naar het parkeerterrein, hadden niet in de gaten dat dat recht tegenover de appartementen was. Dat was ons niet duidelijk op de site.
Er was een gaslek in de buurt dus we konden er eerst niet komen, werden door de politie tegen gehouden. En we moesten maar gaan bellen. Helaas is bellen alleen in het engels dus dat was heeeeeeeeel vervelend.
Booking.com wel lastige site om dingen op te zoeken.

Das Haus liegt in der Einflugschneise vom Flughafen und die Eisenbahn fährt nebenan.
Ebenso liegt das Haus an einem sehr idyllischen kleinen Yachthafen.
Die 5 Tage haben uns sehr gut gefallen. Die Wohnung war groß und hell und sauber!

the list of essential amenities mentioned there would be tea and coffee. after not being able to find tea, and sending a message to Rental Valley, we didn't feel very assisted by the reply we got. (basically we should go buy some, even though it was almost 10pm). everything else in the apartment was amazing though!

In de buurt op loopafstand lekker eten en sporten bij Dekker..sportcentrum met oa bowling, mini golf, paddel ..
Dicht bij Leiden
De locatie is op soort industrieterrein.
In de zomer denk ik wat minder afgelegen gevoel.
Vooral lopend vanaf bushalte op regenachtige avond niet prettig.
We kregen de verwarming niet uit voor de nacht.
Veel tv zenders niet te ontvangen, daardoor geen filmpje kunnen kijken.

Alles da was man braucht, eben das nötige.
Ruhig gelegen.
Lage tolle sehr Zentral zwischen verschieden Ausflugszielen, Leiden, Den Haag, Amsterdam, Rotterdam, das Meer usw.
Wunderbare Aussicht auf einen kleinen Hafen.
Eigentlich alles super, optimal wäre ein Haarföhn gewesen 😀

L'appartement était propre et était encore mieux que sur les photos 😍
L'emplacement est idéal pour visiter la côte (plages), Delft, Leyde et Amsterdam.

Wir hatten für 5 Personen gebucht und die 5. Person musste im Wohnzimmer auf einer Ausziehcouch schlafen. Dies war uns so nicht bewusst und die Couch war wirklich unbequem.

Especially the space. It's huge, bright and airy and it even has a large balcony with a fantastic view of the canal. The apartment is well equipped - in the kitchen there is all you need, there is a separate washing machine and there is ample soap in all the spaces where you would hope for it to be.
We felt at home.
Everything was great.
The only thing is that the ameneties are quite a walk - you have to go around the canal and back into the village.
(And randomly, we found someone else's socks under the sofa.)

Nur die Anweisung zum Parkplatz und wie man das Türchen auf machen kann war unklar.
Ansonsten empfehle ich es vom Herzen weiter.
