Villa som das Ondas is a characteristic townhouse, divided in two apartments, each with their own independent private entrance.
Accessed through its own private entrance at the side of this property this delightful two-bedroom apartment is located on the ground floor. This apartment offers a large living and dining area attached to a large kitchen that is fully equipped with electric oven and ceramic hob, microwave, washing machine, coffee machine, kettle, toaster, granite worktops.
From the kitchen you can enter the large patio/garden with a sitting, dining table and a grill. To enjoy the long summer nights with a nice BBQ and the family! The apartment has
2 large bedrooms with a king-sized bed(2 times 90x200), and a separate bathroom.

The neighborhood
Burgau is a quiet fishing village, situated between Lagos and Sagres. Sheltered from the wind by the cliffs on a small cove is the lovely Praia do Burgau. It is an excellent base for a relaxing beach holidays or exploring the beautiful Western Algarve. It has some amazing restaurants and bars facing the sea, and there are several other beautiful beaches in the area to explore. If your idea of the perfect holiday is to relax in the sun and swim in the sea, this village will provide everything your heart desire.
Three golf courses are within 15 minutes drive, as are many of the Algarve's best surfing beaches. Only 8 kilometres from the historic town of Lagos with its lively nightlife, bustling yacht marina and a huge variety of shops, cafes and restaurants. Other things to do in the area include surfing, fishing, diving, golf, tennis and hiking.
Getting around
Although public transport is available in the area, it is limited. If you really want to explore the area, a (rental) car will make your life a whole lot easier. Free street parking is available all throughout and around town.

The location was great. We picked a bad time of the year to visit and the weather was a little chilly and the electric heaters did not keep up well in keeping it warm inside. It was peaceful as not many travelers were there and some of the restaurants were closed for the season.

Spacious accommodation in a great location. In centre of village, close to restaurants and supermarket but still quiet. Very close to sandy beach. Lounge and dining area are great, modern and comfy however rest of property is dated and requires a bit of TLC. Appreciate it is an old building but did have a very unpleasant smell of damp in bedrooms and kitchen cupboards.

Location is simply perfect. 3 min to the beach, lots of good restaurants. Easy to find. On the first day we indicated a broken window lock to the rental valley team and told them via WhatsApp that it is very easy to get in to Appartement. (It’s possible the get ripped-off) Alltoght they promised to send a maintencance team, noting happens. (The communication did not solve our problem during our stay)
Some more room for improvement is in the bathroom. -Which often smelled like drainage and -it could be more cleaner -The provided fluid soap was simply stretched with water) -There is a little rusty tray with could be replaced

Gostamos muito dos dias que passámos nesta casa. É ampla, tem uma óptima sala e um terraço grande, que dá para fazer refeições e churrascos. Fica a 3 minutos a pé da praia e no centro do burgau, o que facilita muito o dia a dia. Pretendemos repetir a experiência.!

La ubicación ideal para disfrutar de la playa y el poder de disfrutar de la terraza de la vivienda. Los armarios de las habitaciones muy antiguos, estropeados y poco funcionales, además de tener en su interior ropa de cama gastada y mal colocada. El baño muy pequeño y con grifería con mal funcionamiento (sin gomas de aislamiento en los tapones del bidet y bañera). Las ventanas algunas cerraban mal y en todas las contraventanas exteriores o faltaban algunas lamas o las que tenían estaban defectuosas (incluso en el 2º día de nuestra estancia apareció una lama de la ventana de la planta superior encima de nuestra mesa de la terraza donde desayunábamos).

We stayed in Burgau , Location was excellent short distance from beach ,restaurants and bars , pretty fishing village ,people were very friendly
Beautiful sandy beach , a lovely spacious villa , well equipped , nice outside area to sit and have food and drinks . Alovely relaxing holiday. The apartment needs more mirrors , there is only one in the bathroom and when you are all trying to get ready to go out this made it difficult , and the bathroom sink is not deep enough ,so when you put the tap on water splashes everywhere
so only small minor problems everything else was perfect .

We recently stayed in Rental Valley's big and comfortable house in the lovely village of Burgau, and we couldn't have been more pleased. The location was fantastic—just a short walk to the beach and nearby restaurants. We highly recommend it to anyone looking to spend some peaceful time in this charming area. While there was some construction work nearby, it wasn't an issue for us at all, as we spent our days exploring the beautiful surroundings. We didn't hear any noise during the mornings or evenings. Overall, it was a wonderful experience! ❤️

We hadden niet zo'n fijn verblijf in dit huis.
Hoewel dit huis ook absoluut pluspunten heeft; zoals sfeervol ingericht, ruim, leuke patio, gelegen midden in het dorp, lieve ontvangst met een flesje wijn. En hoewel we ook echt wel genoten hebben...
Hadden wij helaas ook erg veel last van werkzaamheden tijdens ons gehele verblijf in het huisje. Er wordt een huis gebouwd op letterlijk 2 meter van het slaapkamerraam. Nee ik overdrijf helaas niet. De herrie van het te bouwen huis was de gehele dag aanwezig en zelfs in het weekend werd er doorgebouwd. Wij vinden ook, en volgens mij is dit ook bij wet verplicht dat de verhuurder dergelijke werkzaamheden hoort of behoord te weten en moet communiceren aan de huurders. Wij hadden een ander verblijf geboekt als we dit van te voren hadden geweten. Andere minpunten aan dit huis zijn dat het heel gehorig is, met name bij verhuur van de bovenappartementen. En het huis heeft last van vocht binnen, je ziet dat ook aan bollingen in de muur.

Pasamos unos días muy buenos, pudimos disfrutar de la barbacoa y la terraza, es un apartamento amplio. Sólo tuvimos dos puntos negativos, el lavavajillas no funcionaba y el olor a humedad cuando entras. Por lo demás fue todo genial.

Nuestra estancia en la casa ha sido maravillosa. La vivienda se encuentra en un pueblo muy tranquilo. Está a pie de playa, es amplia y confortable. Nos encantó el patio con barbacoa. La playa del pueblo es preciosa y tranquila. El alojamiento tiene todos los servicios que hacen falta para unas estupendas vacaciones. Como aspecto negativo sólo puedo decir que no encontramos una limpieza muy profunda. Rental Valley nos atendió en todo lo necesario. Muy recomendable.

The kitchen was incredibly well equipped. The BBQ required a bit of attention. The TV control device was in a poor state. The location was fantastic. We had a great week at the location and were not disappointed but there were a couple of minor irritations that require a little attention.

Die Wohnung ist groß und geräumig und hat eine tolle Lage am Meer. Leider war die Wohnung und Terasse mit Ungeziefer befallen, bei Ankunft verschmutzt mit Ungeziefer, Terasse war nicht nutzbar, wir mussten ständig lebende und tote Tiere auch in Wohnung entfernen, der Vermieter war sehr hilfsbereit und hat versucht Problem zu lösen mit Schädlingsbekämpfung, aber ohne Erfolg, als finanzielle Entschädigung erhielten wir nur 50€, das ist leider zu wenig

We stayed here for a week and must say that the location of this property is excellent. It is a minute from the Burgau beach and there are plenty of restaurants nearby. Only challenge we faced here was with check-in and the bathroom is a bit small. Nevetheless, these are not compelling enough reasons not to select this location again in future!

We had a wonderful stay, the location is just great, the two bed rooms relaxed, and the fast stove is incredible. We had bit difficulty to find the place because the address exists twice in the village, we had some minor issues with the flat that we could discuss very easily with rentalvalley and they offered every help we needed, so no problem at all with the communication and the rest of our stay. You can hear the sound of the ocean, can just jump into the bar across from the entrance with a great terrace or enjoy the big space you get when you rented the flat (except for the tiny bathroom). Thanks so much for this easy and nice stay!
