Kaag Resort is a boutique apartment complex with an open waterway to the Kaag and Braassemer Lakes. The ideal spot for anyone passionate about water!
Your apartment is a spacious 65m2 living + 17m2 terrace on the ground floor near the waterside, bright and completely private on the ground floor. The decoration and facilities radiate comfort and convenience. You will have 1 bedroom with comfortable boxsprings, a 40m2 open plan living room, and a fully equipped kitchen with modern appliances. The sofa in the living room easily converts into a comfortable sofa bed. The bathroom and toilet are separate, and you have a private terrace (17m2) that overlooks the marina and the water. Also ideal for kids with trampoline jumping, a tropical swimming pool and Monkey Town within walking distance.

The neighborhood
The Kaag Resort recreation apartments are located right beside the river Leede. This river is an open waterway to the Kaag Lakes, the Braassemmer Lake and the city centre of Leiden. The perfect location to take a tour by boat on Saturdays across the culinary market or visit one of the cosy little restaurants on the water.
The surroundings offer a wealth of recreational possibilities. The golf course is within walking distance and the same applies to the sauna, tennis courts, sports school, restaurants, supermarket and the centre of Warmond. The Warmonder forest is just opposite the resort. You can easily reach the beach for a nice walk with a fresh sea breeze.
This central location ensures that all possibilities are within reach. Cities such as Amsterdam, Haarlem, Leden, Delft and The Hague can be reached within 30min by car!
Getting around
You can explore Warmond and its surroundings on foot or by using the public buses. Regional buses and trains will get you to the surrounding towns and cities, but if you really want to explore the general area, a (hire) car will make your life easier.

It is a 10 minute walk from the bus with access to Leiden Centraal and made our time getting between cities.
The location is quiet and the waterside views are relaxing.
The host is easy to contact and quick to reply. We would stay here again.

Das Rollo /Storen im Wohnzimmer sind defekt und konnten nicht geschlossen werden.
Es wäre schön wenn ein Wasserabzieher für das Bad da wäre oder ein wischmobb.
Das Schlafsofa ist leider schon sehr abgenutzt und sehr durchgelegen.
Dies könnte man sicher mal austauschen.
Sonst war der Aufenthalt sehr schön und die Wohnung ist schön hell und geräumig.wir kommen gerne wieder

The location of the house was perfect for exploring Holland. We were able to easily reach many places such as Volendam, Zaandam, Haarlem, The Hague, Delft, Scheveningen, and Rotterdam by car. The neighborhood of the house was also very peaceful, and the terrace had a fantastic view.
However, there were some minor shortcomings in the house. The sofa was quite old and not comfortable for a third person to sleep on. Also, there were some cleanliness issues we encountered upon arrival, especially in the seating areas.

Es gab ein Problem mit den Jalousien, wobei schon wenige Minuten nach Kontaktaufnahme jemand vorbei kam, um das Problem zu beheben.

Das Geschirr teilweise schmutzig
Nachts konnten wir nur mit Ohrstöpseln schlafen weil von 21 Uhr bis morgens um 4 Uhr ein lautes klopfen zu hören war.Wir haben das ein paar mal reklamiert nur leider klopfte es Nachts weiterhin.Da das Schlafzimmer zum Flur des Hauses ging war es durch Türen knallen und lauten Nachbarn unangenehm.Wir werden die Ferienwohnung nicht noch einmal buchen.

Throughout the night we didn’t experience noises so we slept well.
The appliances were working fine so we’ve able to cook food and wash and dry our clothes.
You can be in Amsterdam in about 30/40 minutes by car, it heavily depends on the traffic.
I’ll personally return if I’ll visit the Netherlands again.
