The space
A family home at the edge of the ocean.
This villa isn’t a typical rental. It’s a home — built with care, lived in, and loved. It sits just above Praia da Arrifana, within a short walking distance on a private walk way to the beach, but feels like it’s miles away from everything. It features uninterrupted views across the valley and out to the Atlantic. There’s no one in front of you — just the cliffs, the sea, and the sky.
We designed the house to provide a high standard, combining German building requirements with local materials and a layout that works in every season. There’s no need for air-conditioning — the design keeps it cool even in summer and it provides a central heating system for the winter. The furniture and lighting are from brands we love (B&B Italia, Occhio, Flos, Artemide) and the art work is original, but the house isn’t about labels or show. It’s about how it feels to be here.
There are three comfortable bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms, a fully equipped kitchen (WMF, evasolo, AEG), and a large downstairs space where kids can play or everyone can watch a movie if the weather turns. Outside, you’ll find terraces for every time of day, a pool that’s protected from the wind and provides a jet to swim, a KLAFS sauna with an ocean view, and even a quiet spot to practice yoga or lie in the hammock.
You’ll also find small details that just make life easier: a Tesla charger, a Weber grill, outdoor showers, room for surfboards, and a ping-pong table. It’s all here, but none of it shouts.
Even in summer, the house feels calm. You can walk down to the beach for a swim or a surf, grab a bite at one of the cafés and restaurants, and return to total peace. Most of our guests say the same thing: the photos don’t do it justice and that is how it should be.

Getting around
Transit in and to Vale da Telha is convenient and accessible, with well-connected roadways and public transportation options. Situated in the Algarve region, Vale da Telha is easily reachable by car via major roads like the N120 and N268. For those without a car, local buses provide connections to nearby towns like Aljezur and Lagos. Travelers arriving by air can reach Vale da Telha from Faro Airport, with options including car rental, taxis, or shuttle services. Once in Vale da Telha, getting around is easy thanks to its compact size and well-laid-out road network, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable travel experience for all.
