The space
Welcome to your home in the heart of Luz! Location doesn’t get better than this—our bright and welcoming 1-bedroom apartment is just 2 minutes from the beach and surrounded by cafes, shops, and supermarkets. Whether you're up for an early morning surf session or prefer a quiet stroll along the beach, everything is within reach. Finish your day with a sundowner on the rooftop terrace, taking in the stunning views of the ocean.
The apartment, located on the first floor, features a cozy bedroom with a double bed, a sofa, and a single sleeping sofa, perfect for couples, friends, or small families. Upon entering, you'll find a small storage area in front of you. To the left, the fully equipped kitchen awaits to prepare your favorite meals. To the right, the bathroom with a toilet and shower is the first door on your right. Walk straight ahead, and you'll enter the spacious living, dining, and bedroom area, which opens up to your own private south-facing balcony, offering plenty of sunshine. The room also features an AC unit, ensuring your comfort throughout your stay.
Don’t forget the shared rooftop terrace, where you can relax and enjoy panoramic views over Luz Bay.
➤ Please note that this apartment is located above a wine and tapasbar. Where it is possible to sit inside and outside. This can be a bit noisy at times.

The neighborhood
Luz is a quaint little holiday village along the Algarvian coastline. You will find everything you need here for a relaxing getaway. Shops, bars and restaurants and a beautiful beach are right on your doorstep. The bigger town Lagos is less than 10 minutes' drive away and in the other direction, you will find many small beach towns and breathtaking beaches. Perfect for family, beach and watersport (surf) trips.
Getting around
Free public parking nearby. Parking in front of the apartment is not always possible in summer, but there will be plenty of space in the surrounding streets.

Like other reviews already said, the mattress is terrible and should really be replaced (I tried flipping it but unfortunately it wasn't double sided). The bathroom smelled like sewer throughout my whole stay. The glass front door doesn't have a curtain so every time you go the bathroom or hallway you're exposed to bypassers. The TV only had 7 Portuguese channels installed. The apartment is advertised as 'seaview' but there's a tall building in front, blocking your view from the ocean.

the mattress needs to be replaced. my husband ended up sleeping on the couch as the right side of the mattress as you look at the bed from the foot of it is dipping and extremely uncomfortable

All the apartments are tastefully decorated with everything you need for your stay, there is a roof terrace with superb views & a great place to sit & watch the sun go down.
The bed linen is a very high quality & the beds comfortable, there is always plenty of fresh white towels & the bathrooms are super clean.
Within a coupe of minutes walk there are many cafes/bars/restaurants with prices to suit every budget - a wonderful location if you decide not to hire a car.

The check in time was a bit late and the check out very early. Apart from that and the fact that the apartment is a bit on the pricier end, it is really excellent.
