    Great ocean View and very good location of the Airbnb. (2min to the beach) Kitchen ok, inventory partly old (especially the pans). Unfortunately the Airbnb was dusty, balcony was very dirty. The airbnb was not freshly cleaned before our arrival. However, the host offered solutions and we were able to come to an agreement. Communication with the host was good. We Couldn't even use the vacuum cleaner because the bag was full. Bed uncomfortable and too small for two people. Neighborhood was very noisy due to renovations. The view is nice, location very good, but overall too expensive for what you get.

    Wohnung war nicht bereit. Vormieter war noch in der Wohnung am späten Nachmittag (17Uhr). Somit wäre es nicht geputzt worden, wenn wir nichts gesagt hätten. Gute Kommunikation mit der Vermieterin. Wurde schnell geklärt, dass wir in die Wohnung konnten mit Putzen. Sauberkeit lässt ein wenig zu wünschen übrig. Auch die Ausstattung war nicht mehr so gut (Reperaturbedürftig).

I made a mistake on my check out date and the management company was extremely understanding and supportive. Their kindness prevented my mistake from ruining a great vacation.

    It was the perfect beach side location for our honeymoon! Beautiful views, so quaint and quiet. We loved close to restaurants, grocery shops, cafes, and the Lagos city center (10 minute drive). This apartment was. We were able to take bolt or the bus everywhere and felt very safe.

    This was the first Airb&b where we didn’t meet the owner or manager so explanation of how things worked was missing as was attention to a number of maintenance issues. Although we were there a month only one set of bed linen was supplied together with just two skimpy pillows. Having said all that we loved Praia da Luz and the apartment and its location which is perfect. When we contacted Rental Valley their response was excellent. We would return .

    Mostly ok, some of the furniture however needs fixing, drawers not opening etc. Moved the bed a little bit and it was not nice under there, housekeepers need to be advised of that. Biggest issue was that I wasn't told about the construction site next door, which made work impossible and I had to leave the apartment during the day to work. Should have been communicated.

    Nous avons adoré cet appartement! La vue, lever du soleil magnifique, proche d’excellents restaurants, proche de l’épicerie, belle plage. Nous avons eu de la difficulté à trouver l’appartement, mais ça en valait la peine. Suivez les indications pour Bloco #1,2-3 si jamais ça peut aider. C’est ce qui nous a aidé à trouver!

    Der Check in in die Unterkunft war mittels Schlüsselbox einfach und unkompliziert. Die Lage der Unterkunft ist toll, es ist nur etwa eine Gehminute vom Strand entfernt. Vom Balkon kann man das Meer und den Strand sehen. Während unseres Aufenthaltes hat es leider die meiste Zeit sehr stark geregnet und durch die fehlende Heizung in der Wohnung war nach 2 Tagen alles inklusive der Bettwäsche sehr klamm. Die Küchenausstattung ist basic aber alles Nötige vorhanden. Für einen Schönwetter und Strandurlaub sicherlich eine schöne Unterkunft, bei schlechtem Wetter bzw. herbstlichen Temperaturen würde ich es nicht empfehlen. Wir fanden es ein wenig teuer.

    This place was in the perfect location and the balcony was amazing! Check in and check out were easy, and the essentials were provided. The host was very responsive, including when we requested more bathroom soap and to spray for a small ant problem we encountered in the apartment. Overall it was a great stay in a peaceful neighborhood and we would stay again.

    Positive: Toller Blick vom Balkon, Strand schnell erreichbar. Negative: Der Allgemeinzustand der Wohnung und der Ausstattung lässt zu wünschen übrig (Mobiliar teilweise nicht in Ordnung, Küchengeräte und Küchenaustattung mäßig, Staubsauger defekt, Riss in der Balkonbrüstung, Mängel im Bad, Bettwäschetausch nur gegen Extragebühr) Das Appartement war in der Wohnanlage schwierig zu finden. Die telefonische Unterstützung durch den Vermieter vor Ort war unzulänglich. Erst ein "Nachbar" konnte uns helfen.

    Alles in allem ist es dort sehr gemütlich und etwas verschlafen in Luz. Die Unterkunft war bei Ankunft leider alles andere als Sauber. Im Eingangsbereich kamen uns direkt ein paar Blätter und fremde Haare entgegen als wir das erste mal die Wohnung betraten. Des Weiteren lief die Dusche nicht richtig ab und überall war noch Sand, Staub und weitere Haare unserer Vorgänger. Auch wichtig zu erwähnen ist, dass im Inserat von einem King size bed die Rede ist. Das Bett ist allerdings höchstens 1,2m breit und es gibt auch nur einen dünnen bettbezug und eine etwas muffige Wolldecke. Auf Nachfrage ob wir eine zweite Decke bekommen könnten, da wir ja auch beide bezahlt haben sagte man mir: „es gibt immer nur eine Decke“ und das war das letzte Wort. Alles in Allem waren wir nicht zufrieden. Es war dreckig, das Bett war super ungemütlich und duschen konnte man auch nicht vernünftig. Wer also im Urlaub entspannt schlafen will sollte sich etwas anderes suchen.

    It was amazing. Everything was perfect but the only issues and I’ll say it was once was a cockroach that was crawling along the headboard. There were little bugs that were on floor but nothing to be concerned about. Other than that our stay for 3 night was amazing. Definitely recommend and would go back.

    5 stars for location but 3 for the overall accommodation. The best part about the apartment is that it is a 2 minute walk from the beach and the patio has an amazing view! However, the inside has the bare minimum. The place overall is a bit grubby - dirty dishes/counter, partially used paper towel, and bugs on the wall. In addition, when asked if we could have more than the roll and a half of toilet paper provided as we had run out, the owner said no and that we should “check the super market”. Also, as a few others have said - be careful on the deck - if you shut the door fully you will lock yourself out. Overall an awesome location but just an ok accommodation.

I went to bed later than my partner and was unable to get back inside simply because I closed the door! Silly me, yes, but just have a way back in and this place is 5 stars to the moon for me!

    This Airbnb has an incredible location! Just a few blocks from the beach. The view from the balcony is also fantastic. Bring your own beach towels, wash cloths, cozy clothes (it gets chilly at night and starting around MDW there are no more duvets), and coffee if you’re an early riser.

    Tolle Wohnung mit super Ausblick. Nette, ruhige Gegend mit einem Strand inkl Promenade mit Restaurants der in wenigen Minuten zu Fuß erreichbar ist. Haben uns für diese Unterkunft entschieden auch mit dem Wissen, dass eine hohe reinigungspauschale aufgeschlagen wird. Leider hält diese nicht was man sich erwartet. Die Küche war nicht wirklich sauber, es waren noch Haare im Bad, das Besteck unrein und ein Handtuch komplett verschmutzt. Daher kann ich nur sagen extrem tolle Wohnung, perfekte Lage, aber diese extra 60€ Reinigung sind nicht gerechtfertigt.

Everything in the town was walkable and the view from the balcony was incredible. It was a less than 5 min walk to the beach. We had an issue with the shower drain, but they were responsive and fixed this during our stay.

    The view from the balcony is unreal. We sat out there with drinks and small bites watching the sunset and listening to the ocean. Just 5 minutes to walk down to the beach, which is also spectacular. The flat is super spacious and comfortable, and only 1 flight of stairs!!

    Positive: Location ottima. Pulizia dell'interno buona. All'esterno ( scala di accesso e balcone) migliorabile. Negative: Il check-in fai da te non va bene. Qualcuno dovrebbe essere presente per dare delucidazioni. La serratura della porta d'ingresso non funzionava bene e ho dovuto provvedere a sistemarla io stesso. Il condizionatore ( pompa di calore) rumorosissimo.

    Super logement avec une vue incroyable sur l'océan, bien équipé, propre, calme, place de parking à une vingtaine de mètres. La plage, les restaurants, la supérette sont à 3 minutes à pieds. Le seul bémol est pour trouver le logement, l'adresse indiquée sur l'annonce ne mène pas exactement à l'appartement, mais une fois trouvé plus de soucis.

    Fünf Minuten zu Fuß zur Standpromenade und Blick über das Meer: Lage und Aussicht dieses Apartments fanden wir wirklich toll, und es war auch blitzsauber gereinigt. Dennoch würden wir dieses Apartment wohl kein zweites Mal buchen, zumindest nicht in einer Periode mit teilweise auch schlechtem Wetter wie bei unserem Aufenthalt in der zweiten Novemberhälfte. Denn gemütlich eingerichtet auch für Tage mit schlechtem Wetter war es leider nicht. Konkret hätten wir uns statt des unbequemen Sofas an der linken Wand zwei einzelne Sessel gewünscht, die man sowohl zusammen stellen als auch einzeln im Zimmer bewegen kann, um nach Wahl entweder fernzusehen oder die tolle Aussicht vom Zimmer aus zu genießen. Dazu ein Couchtisch und zwei bewegliche Leselampen, und das Apartment hätte für uns einen spürbar höheren Aufenthaltswert gehabt.

    The view was fantastic as was the unit’s proximity to restaurants, cafes, grocery shopping, and the beach. Despite there being several other units nearby, the place was very quiet. Although there were several cars in the parking lot, we were always able to find a space. More attention could be given to the cleanliness of dishes and supplying or replacing basic items usually provided in AirBnBs. We appreciated how Rental Valley was very responsive to our inquiries and comments.

    Had a wonderful 5 night stay. The apartment is clean, well appointed and is just as the pictures portray. The location is ideal - within walking distance to all the restaurants, bars and a supermarket. The view of the beach and the water from the balcony is spectacular! My only critique is that the address/coordinates given to get to the apartment didn't work. Our taxi driver could not find the apartment and was kind enough to call the property managers who talked him through how to get there. It would be much easier to find with directions such as "from a specific restaurant, take your first left, then your second right, etc." I would recommend the apartment and would book again - especially now that I know how to find it.

  113. This place was above our expectations for so many reasons. First of all, the location is excell...

    This place was above our expectations for so many reasons. First of all, the location is excellent. Not only it is incredibly close to the beach, really good restaurants, shops (especially The Ice Cream Factory - Try every flavor and you can thank me later) and two supermarkets (one is only minutes away!) but very likely it has the one of the best views of all Luz. Secondly, it is very quiet at night and the blinds keeps the apartment cool and very dark in the morning so we had the best sleep throughout our stay. Third: It looks like the apartment has completely been renovated, everything is new and clean. The place has an AC in the living area AND the bedroom, also a small washing machine (and a large drying rack placed on the balcony) which makes life so much easier if you’re traveling light. It has all the basic kitchen equipment if you want to prep a quick meal. The water pressure in the bathroom is good and there is a huge plus: Heated towel rack. Fourth: We did not see any bugs, although some comments indicated otherwise. I was prepared for the worst so this was a nice surprise. The minor inconveniences/downsides are: There is no shade/umbrella covering the balcony, I would have liked to spend more time there but it was always very sunny. Another thing was that the guests are asked to clean their dishes and place them in the kitchen cabinets before leaving but not everyone has the same cleaning standards, unfortunately, so when we took some plates out of the cabinets they were covered in cooking oil. I would recommend washing everything before using.

    Pros: -Beautifully renovated space (great shower and overall layout) -Unbeatable view of the beach, sunset and sunrise -gorgeous balcony for a nice breakfast or evening wine -the unit is a two min walk from the beach, restaurant strip, cafes, grocery stores (x2) and pharmacies -An 8 min Uber/taxi ride from the Lagos train station/marina -location is wonderful - and praia de Luz is a really nice beach - No cockroaches in sight :) Cons -The bed is really uncomfortable for a long stay, the mattress is comparable to a futon (it could benefit from a mattress pad or a better quality mattress) -As much as I’d love to stay focused on the positives because overall it was an enjoyable stay, I just have to be honest about the cleanliness issue. It really is frustrating to have to harp on about this (because it’s been mentioned in previous reviews) but unfortunately the place is not the cleanest. It’s almost like they rely on their air bnb guests to do the cleaning when they leave, and they don’t send anyone to do a more thorough deep cleaning of high-touch areas or clean floors or vacuum etc. Upon my arrival after a long journey, I had to go to the store to buy Lysol and paper towels and dish scrubbers to clean the dirty glassware and surfaces myself, because I didn’t feel comfortable touching the surfaces. There was filth on the cupboards, crumbs on the counter, dead bugs squished, sand on the couch, etc. Other guests have complained about the same issue - and the host/rental company seems to take no accountability, so I escalated the issue to airbnb. At first I requested a solution from the rental property, and they declined - but they offered to have someone come and clean it for me (after I had already arrived and while I was there alone, no thanks.) I’ve stayed at several air bnbs; and the cleaning should be done before my arrival. The host/rental company was “so disappointed in me for complaining to air bnb.” However, I think that in order for a recurring problem like this to be fixed, air bnb needs to be notified and rental valley (the host) should make the necessary changes/improve the cleaning services. -Very little privacy in the main living area, the blinds in the main room were broken/ didn’t hang… so there was no way for any privacy in the living room or kitchen especially in the evening hours

    This apartment has the most fantastic view and location! The location is perfect for the beach (2min walk), supermarket and plenty of awesome restaurants (Dolphin and Latitude are the best!). Air con was excellent and kept the place very cool!! Would 1000% recommend!

    The little patio is the best feature of the place - we enjoyed several meals outside with beautiful views of the water. Everything was clean and comfortable. Shower was excellent. Location was easy walking distance to the beach, grocery and restaurants. We would definitely stay here again!

    Alles wie auf den Bildern. Super schöne Aussicht und kurzer Fussweg zum Meer. Leider haben wir jedoch bei der Ankunft Kakerlaken in der Küche entdeckt. Auf Nachfrage bei der Agentur wurde uns nur geschrieben wir sollen ein Spray besorgen und das "Kakerlakensaison" sei. Für uns ein No-Go an 2 von 4 Tagen Auffenthalt Kakerlaken auf eigene Kosten zu bekämpfen ganz angesehen von dem Gesundheitsrisiko.
