The space

This lovely, refurbished apartment is set in the heart of the small coastal town of Praia da Luz. Set in a resort with views over to the gardens. Ocean views from the large balcony, where you can relax with your morning coffee or unwind with a glass of wine in the evening.

The apartment has two bedrooms, two bathrooms, one en-suite, and a large open-plan lounge, kitchen, and dining area.

The neighborhood

The apartment is situated in the centre of Praia da Luz where everything you need is just a short walk away – the lovely sandy beach with beach-side cafes and restaurants dotted along the pedestrianised promenade. In addition, there are two supermarkets within walking distance of the apartment, so you can quickly get those freshly baked croissants for breakfast on the balcony.

Why not take one of the local buses to the historic town of Lagos full of Portuguese history and take a walk back in time through the cobbled streets where you have plenty of shops and restaurants. Or visit the neighbouring village of Burgau, a quaint fishing village to the west.

The west coast is very popular for surfing, with some of the best beaches on the Algarve. This is also the perfect place to use a base whilst exploring the stunning coastline. Walking along the cliff paths of the Algarve is another way to do this, the magnificent paths are easily accessible from Praia da Luz.

Getting around

You can reach Lagos in about one hour by car from Faro Airport and car rental is available in the parking lot of the airport. By train it will take about 2,5 to 3 hours.

Lagos has a train station (for travel towards Faro, Lisbon and Porto) and a bus station (for buses towards the west-side of the south coast) but do note that buses and trains only go a few times per day. You can easily get around without a car and there are plenty of taxis and Ubers available, but if you really want to explore the area surrounding Lagos, a (rental) car will make your life a whole lot easier.

You can park for free in Luz. Parking in front of the apartment is not always available in summer, but there will be plenty of space in the surrounding streets.

ℹ SEF REQUIREMENTS. All property owners in Portugal have a legal requirement to report tourists’ and guests information to Serviço de Estrangeiros e Fronteiras (known for short as, SEF). To comply with legal requirements, from a week before arrival we shall send to you a link to our SEF form for you to complete and send back to us prior to your arrival. It is mandatory requirement.
