Eine schöne Unterkunft mit wunderbaren Blick aufs Meer. Ein bequemes Bett und hochwertige Handtücher. Leider war die Ausstattung der Küche etwas mangelhaft, dreckige zerkratze Töpfe, stumpfe Messer, keine Schüsseln, ein Mixer oder Purierstab wäre auch super gewesen. Ansonsten war die Unterkunft wirklich schön und schlicht eingerichtet

Wir haben die Wohnung vor allem wegen der Lage in Luz und der tollen Aussicht vom Balkon auf Strand und Meer gebucht. Die Wohnung war modern und schnörkellos eingerichtet. Aufgrund teilweiser schlechter Bewertungen haben wir zunächst lange gezögert hier zu buchen, aber es war dann alles so, wie wir es aufgrund der Fotos und Beschreibung erwartet haben. Die Aussicht vom Balkon ist wirklich herrlich! Trotz zentraler Lage im Ort war es ruhig und wir konnten nachts und morgens nur die Möwen und das Meer hören. Kaum Autolärm (das mag in der Hochsaison anders sein). Alles war vorhanden wie beschrieben. Parkplätze an der Straße waren nie ein Problem, kleiner Supermarkt nur 5 min zu Fuß und zum Strand ebenfalls nur 5 min. Im Hochsommer muss es allerdings auch ziemlich heiß werden am Morgen, da die Sonne direkt auf den Balkon scheint. Das Badezimmer hat keine Lüftung und keine Fenster - deshalb dürfte es schnell Probleme mit Schimmel geben. Bei unserem Aufenthalt war das Bad aber sauber!

The great location - just a few minutes' walk from the stunning beach and a short drive from the vibrant city of Lagos. The view from the apartment is simply breathtaking and leaves a lasting impression. The apartment itself was comfortable, albeit a bit dated, clean, and well-equipped with everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The proximity to both the beach and the city made it incredibly convenient for exploring the area.

Unfortunately the clothes washer didn’t work but Rental Valley dealt with that issue with a small $$ refund. The view is great and it is an ideal spot for a couple. The location and view can’t be beat, but the apartment is short on comfort and basics. There is only 1 small sofa, so only 2 people can sit in the unit. There are bar stools, but they are bar height for a counter (too high). There are too few glasses and cups for 4 people. Towels were skimpy. Not bad for a quick stay, but it would be harder to spend more than a night or two.

Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen, da die Aussicht direkt aufs Meer wunderschön war, die Lage perfekt, um Ausflüge zu unternehmen und der Ort Luz einer der schönsten Orten an der Algarvenküste ist. Leider mussten wir feststellen, dass es an der Decke in der Küche und im Badezimmer schimmelt. Da wir nur 4 Nächte dort waren, war es uns den Aufwand nicht wert, ein anderes Airbnb zu suchen, jedoch würde ich aus gesundheitlichen Gründen längere Aufenthalte vermeiden. Die Betten waren leider auch nicht gemütlich- jeden Morgen sind wir mit Rückenschmerzen aufgewacht. Die Küchenausstattung war sehr mager. (Nicht einmal Müllsäcke vorrätig) Am Ende der Reise mussten wir unseren Müll selbst entsorgen, was ja auch völlig in Ordnung ist. Jedoch finden wir dafür eine Reinigungsgebühr von 190€ einfach zu hoch. Der Rest des Airbnbs war völlig in Ordnung und man fühlte sich wohl.

Nice apartment with perfect view. Free parking outside was a bonus. We had a good time. The only think which could be better is the way how the rental company communicate. One of the reasons we prefer Airbnb is that you communicate with the owner and all those people are mostly friendly and helpful. Here you feel you communicate with the system, with the company and sometimes it is like communicate with the robot. ...no exceptions, no possible, we don't provide this and this... I am talking about details like asking for extra towel - forget it in this apartment. Five people for five days, but only two rolls of toilet paper. The rules ask you to remove all the trash, but you have one plastic bag for the trash can for five days... But if you skip all that and you don't let this affect your vacation, it is a good place to stay. It would be just even better, if it is owned by some private owner, not by company for which this is just strict business.

Nous sommes allés à Praia da Luz mi octobre et avons pu profiter de l’environnement : restaurants encore ouverts, place de parking accessible, météo correcte (baignade possible / un peu de pluie/ belles vagues) L’appartement correspond à la description, il est très bien placé pour pouvoir tout faire à pied sans être dérangés par le bruit des restaurants et bars La vue est très chouette. Le rapport qualité/ prix est dans les standard du coin (les prix sont élevés) Étions avec deux enfants, c’est parfait Nous recommandons.

We absolutely loved this spot and didn’t want to leave. We even considered staying longer and would have made the request to adjust the rest of our trip if it had been available. We loved watching the waves from the balcony. The area is stunning and such a nice spot to call “home” for a few days or more. We hope to be back some time.

Praia da Luz is most certainly now one of our favourite spots in the world. The apartment was fantastic, beautiful views of the ocean with a balcony to relax on and enjoy. The restaurants and beach is much closer than it seemed on website, so was easy to get around town by walking. The apartment has all you need and the host was very helpful. Would definitely recommend.

Easy walk to beach, market, restaurants, etc. The apartment could've used some basic things like shampoo, conditioner, body wash, paper towels.. but luckily the market is a very short walk. Overall, it was a great stay. Air conditioner was a + because it was very warm in there when we first checked in.

El departamento es tal cual las fotos luminoso, limpio y amplio. Recomendaría que dejen una toalla más en el baño para las manos y una alfombra para salir de la ducha. Nosotros tuvimos un inconveniente por la noche con la puerta del departamento y recién pudimos solucionarlo casi al mediodía del día posterior, porque la agencia que maneja el departamento no tiene un número para emergencias. Eso hizo que no pudiéramos salir en toda la mañana del primer día. Recomendaríamos que la agencia tenga un contacto 24/7 en caso de emergencias, pero más allá de eso nos trataron muy bien y respondieron a la brevedad dentro de sus horarios de trabajo. El barrio es lindisimo, con mercados y restaurantes cerca.

We absolutely loved our stay! Diogo’s place was perfect for my wife & I and our 15yr old daughters stay in Ericeira. Both beds were comfy, the AC worked well and was welcomed, kitchen was perfect for our needs and a nice large bathroom for the 3 of us. It’s perfectly situated with an easy walk into town and very close to two beautiful beaches and a large gas station with groceries. Diogo was extremely responsive and friendly. We didn’t use the pool at the complex but it looked great and wasn’t crowded. But hey the beautiful beaches on the Atlantic were so near we chose to go there. I don’t understand the previous comments/reviews on access. Diogo’s instructions were extremely clear, with pictures. It was easy to check in, there are 2 elevators to the 3rd floor. We really hope to visit Ericeira again soon and would definitely come back and stay here. As a Superhost myself this was an absolutely lovely stay!

The Appartement looks exactly like on the pictures and the view from the balcony makes it worth every morning! Nevertheless, I need to agree with other guests - the beds (in all rooms) are super hard and not so comfortable. So if you are staying longer than 5 days, it might become a back pain issue. The kitchen equipment is rather basic and not meant for big time cooking. But if you Plan to eat out every evening - it is not a problem at all. But all in all, great view, great neighborhood and amazing beach.

It was the view that attracted us to this property and boy did it deliver. The weather was perfect to be gently rocked to sleep by the sound of the waves. The location is very walkable to grocery, restaurants and of course the beach. We thought the on-street parking would be an issue, but we always found a spot in front of the unit. There are a few “buts” in reference to location. Like other reviews commented, it was hard to find. Note that it is on the third floor. Also, you need to keep in mind that this is in a residential area so you will hear babies crying, people going to work early in the morning and sadly for us, construction beginning at 9am within the building. You might want to consider this if you are late sleepers. The kitchen is spacious and well equipped if you want to cook and the furniture is comfortable for lounging. We would recommend more comfortable seating on the balcony, though. Overall a great experience.

Wir, zwei Erwachsene und zwei Kinder hatten im Oktober die Wohnung für 10 Nächte gebucht. Nach Ankunft war unser erster Eindruck, das die Wohnung nur oberflächlich oder gar nicht geputzt wurde. Dieser bestätigte sich bei genauere Ansicht. Wir beschreiben die einzelnen Kritikpunkte hier sehr detailliert, da es in der Vergangenheit schon ähnliche Bewertungen und Kommentare von Mietern hier gab und aus unserer Sicht, die Verwaltungsagentur rentalvalley, keinerlei Nachbesserung getätigt hat. Folgende Punkte sind uns negativ aufgefallen: Der Fußboden war sandig. Div. Küchenutensilien waren nicht richtig sauber und die Schubladen und Schrankeinlagen dreckig, teils klebrig von irgendwelchen ausgelaufene Flüssigkeiten, der Zustand der Töpfe, Pfannen und den Utensilien ist schlimm, total zerkratzt, uralt, teilweise alte Essensreste daran. Wir haben in dieser Küche nur gefrühstückt. Der Mülleimer versifft. Kühlschrank war nicht sauber. Das Sofa hat die guten Jahre hinter sich, wenn man die Decke runternimmt ist es vergilbt. Dazu nur für zwei Personen, die Wohnung ist für vier gedacht. Wo sollen die anderen beiden mal gemütlich sitzen? Badezimmer, Seifenspender, uralt, dreckig. Klobürste, verdreckt, alt, widerlich. Die Fugen in der Dusche haben teilweise Schimmel und das Wasser floss schlecht ab. Die Betten waren angeblich frisch bezogen, wir haben das nicht so empfunden, es waren Haare und Flecken in den Laken, dazu waren einige Kopfkissen gebügelt, andere total zerknittert. Merkwürdig… Dieses ist laut Kommentaren hier wohl schon mal passiert in dieser Wohnung mit der Bettwäsche…. Auf dem Balkon waren vier alte, völlig kaputte und verrostete Sonnenschirme die dort seit Monaten liegen müssen, niemand hat sich hier je die Mühe gemacht diese zu entsorgen. Kein Rauchmelder an der Decke, obwohl die Befestigung da hängt, wurde anscheinend entfernt und nicht erneuert. Ein Sicherheitsaspekt. Die Wanduhr die auf den Fotos der Anzeige zu sehen ist, ist kaputt und hängt nur zur Deko noch? Des Weiteren sind einige Türgriffe locker und bei zwei Hockern in der Küche sind die Schrauben der Unterkonstruktion sehr lose. So etwas ist mit Werkzeug schnell zu reparieren, es muss sich halt jemand die Mühe machen und mit entsprechendem Werkzeug einmal in die Wohnung gehen. Die Reparaturen sind nicht zeitaufwändig!!! Wir waren schockiert über den Zustand dieser Wohnung und mit Sicherheit wurde hier nicht richtig sauber gemacht bevor wir anreisten. Sofort beschwerten wir uns bei der Verwaltung rentalvalley. Diese waren telefonisch sehr gut zu erreichen und die Kommunikation war freundlich, es wurde erstmal Abhilfe versprochen und der Dame am Telefon tat das alles sehr leid. Die Wohnung wurde daraufhin erneut geputzt und die Bettwäsche entsprechend getauscht, wohl gemerkt, noch immer ungebügelt… Der Seifenspender wurde erneuert sowie der Schrott vom Balkon entfernt. Ein von uns persönlich eingefordertes Gespräch vor Ort zur Klärung der Situation, wurde seitens rentalvalley abgelehnt. Das Ergebnis nach erneutem cleaning, war besser aber immer noch nicht für uns akzeptabel, so daß wir selber Putzmittel gekauft haben und die Wohnung gereinigt haben. Alles wurde von uns fotografisch dokumentiert. Es bleibt abschließend zu sagen, das diese Wohnung leider überhaupt nicht zu empfehlen ist. Sie hat einen fantastischen Ausblick auf die Bucht von Luz und so viel Potential ein echtes Highlight zu sein, aber was nützt es einem wenn das Mietobjekt abgewohnt und alles andere als sauber ist. Rentalvalley hat aus unserer Sicht hier seine Fürsorge für die Mieter komplett versäumt was die Begutachtung des Appartements angeht in Bezug auf Sauberkeit und Funktion des Inventars.

Das Gute zuerst: Lage und Blick sind fantastisch. Die Ausstattung, bis auf die Betten, spartanisch und ungemütlich. Küchenequipment sehr mangelhaft, kaum vorhanden und von schlechter Qualität. Kein Problem Bei Kurzaufenthalt, bei 4 Wochen Dauer aber schon. Keine deutschen Fernsehsender! Und lediglich 1(!!) Handtuch pro Person und Woche etwas wenig. Für uns kein nächstes Mal!

We enjoyed the quiet location, proximity to good restaurants on foot, and the ease of parking. The unit is very well kept and everything was as depicted online. We were debating between this property and others, and we were very glad we made this choice as Praia de Luz provided us with the holiday feel we were seeking, and allowed us to easily visit the wonderful beaches of Praia do Castelejo, Fegueiro, to watch glorious sunsets,,, and the towns of Budens, Salema, and Sagres, among others. We ended up extending our stay with no hesitation.
