Dit stijlvolle, volledig uitgeruste appartement met twee slaapkamers ligt op slechts een paar minuten van het centrum van Tavira en is op korte loopafstand van het winkelcentrum Gran Plaza.
Dit moderne appartement met airconditioning is volledig uitgerust met alles wat u nodig heeft voor uw vakantie en meer. Het ligt op de begane grond en heeft een klein terras dat uitkomt op de keuken, ideaal om te ontbijten of een drankje te drinken voor het diner.
Dit mooie lichte appartement ligt op het zuiden waardoor u de volle ochtendzon heeft. Smaakvol gemeubileerd naar een hoge standaard met houten vloeren door het hele appartement. De woonkamer biedt u de perfecte plek om te ontspannen na een ontspannen dag van het verkennen van de lokale omgeving met zijn grote tv en gratis wi-fi. Er is ook een eettafel waar u de lokale wijnen en verse producten kunt proeven en kunt genieten van het gezelschap van goede vrienden of familie.
Dit appartement bestaat uit twee slaapkamers, een met een tweepersoonsbed en de andere, twee eenpersoonsbedden die kunnen worden samengevoegd tot een tweepersoonsbed.
Het appartement is gelegen op slechts een korte loopafstand van het winkelcentrum Gran Plaza, met een supermarkt, bioscoop, food court en tal van winkels. Een wandeling van 10-15 minuten en u bent in de oude stad van Tavira die vol geschiedenis is, gelegen aan de rivier, dit is een plaats die u keer op keer zult willen bezoeken. Met tal van restaurants met verse vis en lokale en internationale gerechten.
Het appartement is gelegen in een beveiligd condominium, met een gedeeld zwembad en tuinen.

The neighborhood
Er is een prachtige kustlijn van ongerepte stranden op korte rijafstand, die worden doorkruist door het natuurreservaat Ria Formosa, dat wordt beschouwd als een van de zeven natuurlijke wonderen van de Algarve. Het Praia de Tavira is het mooiste en populairste strand van de regio, dat met Tavira is verbonden door een regelmatige en goedkope veerboot, die vertrekt vanuit het stadscentrum (10 minuten lopen van het appartement) en ook vanuit Quatro-Aguas. Het eiland is 11 km lang en wordt beschouwd als een van de beste stranden van de Algarve. Veel bedrijven bieden boottochten aan, waaronder kajakken en paddle boarding.
Het recreatiecentrum van de stad ligt naast het condominium en biedt uitstekende recreatiefaciliteiten, waaronder een 25 meter lang, 8-baans overdekt zwembad, 5 onlangs opnieuw geasfalteerde tennisbanen en een Astroturf.
Tavira is ook een geweldige locatie voor golfers met een aantal banen in de buurt die een prachtig landschap in een rustige omgeving bieden, waaronder Monte Rei die is gerangschikt als de beste baan in de Algarve.
Tavira staat bekend om zijn schilderachtige traditionele straten, waar oud en nieuw elkaar ontmoeten, en is een geweldige plek om wat sightseeing te doen en de tijd in de zon door te brengen met een glas wijn op een van de charmante pleinen of in de geplaveide straten.
Getting around
Er is openbaar vervoer beschikbaar in het gebied en in de hele Algarve. Maar bus en treinen gaan niet zo vaak en een (huur)auto is aan te bevelen

Grote keuken met alles aanwezig.
Tv -vaatwasser- wasmachine… en gezamenlijke zwembad ligstoelen.
Dicht bij winkelcentrum en 10 min lopen naar stadje Tavira.

The apartment itself we could not fault it was clean and the kitchen was well equipped.
The rental valley was also supportive of any queries we asked about.
Just one small thing as we stayed for three weeks it would have been helpful to have a spare set bedding to change as we had to launder in one day to get back on the bed but this isn’t a complaint just positive feedback for a long stay.
We would definitely return and would recommend this apartment to family who visit Tavira.

Very nice detail to provide a new package with cleansing capsules (mono dose) and cleaning sponges etc.
convenient car park inside the property.
TV did no work (not a problem because we were not there to watch TV but others might want to depending on the season)

It would have been much better if there were 2 sun loungers for the pool side and an umbrella for those to who like to sit in the shade. The air conditioning in the bedrooms could have been cooler and it would be easier if there was more cutlery in the drawer.

Everything else was lovely. But the location near a disco called Echo was a challenge.
It’s an open air disco. From 12:00 am to 6:00 am really loud house music can be heard. If you’re light sleeper it can be difficult to get back to sleep.

The google map link was incorrect, we ended up waiting in front of the wrong building.
The apartment was as pictured. The pool was a great plus. However it was too far away from the city center and main sites to walk, if you don’t have a car, don’t stay here.
The apartment was missing hand soap, dish soap, body wash and shampoo. When I messaged the host they informed me:
"of these things only hand soap should be included. Can't find any at all? The rest is up to the guest."
Our other three Airbnb’s in Portugal came with all of the above, plus a complimentary bottle of wine and desserts for our kids. (yes, complimentary wine was standard)
They charged us a cleaning fee of $160 CAD and then at the time of check out informed us that we needed to clean and wash all dishes, empty the dishwasher. ???
I’ve paid significantly less for cleaning fees at other Airbnb’s and simply left the place having done nothing except taking out the trash.

The management company who manage the property really gave the impression, "we have your money please don't bother us"
There where only 2 sunbeds for apartment and one set of keys, makes it difficult with you family members if they want to go out and do there own thing? could not sit around pool altogether. The wifi was all incorrect and there where 5 codes. i did call the rental company to help with sunbeds and wifi but it was a waste of my time. The only member of the rental valley team that seemed to be professional was Diane. The rental team that have this apartment on there books really need some training in customer relations, they are so unhelpful.
I would never go to Rental valley again. There where lots of other issues but all these minor issues just added up.
Rental valley pull your socks up, and organise your properties better for the the owner and the client.

We only had a few negatives.
The apartment is advertised as having access to the swimming pool - it does, but you are not allowed to use the Sun loungers and no beach towels are provided, which is a shame.
It would have been helpful to have some bathroom cleaning products provided to keep everything hygienic.
The host was very accommodating upon our arrival which was much appreciated.
Tavira is a wonderful city with the most stunning beach.

Uncomfortable sofas, found hairs on the bathroom mats that were placed on top of the toilet seats, no hand towels and gave us wrong keys so had to call for the right ones and a broken chair in the dining area.

- it was just a 15 minute stroll into the centre of town
- a couple of nice bars/ restaurants nearby
- the pool area was disappointing: it was being refurbished; the pool wasn’t very clean; no parasols for shade.
- a “welcome pack” wouldn’t have gone amiss. We had a late check in and some coffee, tea and milk would have been ideal.

The pool was under construction and water was filthy. Rental Valley were not aware of it they claimed, we were asked to send pictures to prove it. We did not stay one night in the property as the pool was essential to us on our sun holiday in the Algarve. We were only offered a 20% refund. Both booking.com and Rental Valley were a disaster to deal with and could not offer us alternative accommodation, we had to source our own.

Der Weg in die schöne Altstadt ist ca 800m, also okay. Der Bahnhof ist 800m entfernt.
Zunächst war das Problem, dass die Hausnummer falsch angegeben war und wir nur mit Hilfe einheimischer das Haus fanden.
Der Balkon ist winzig, man kann nur zu zweit dort sitzen, in einer Wohnung für vier Personen Es gibt wenig Gerätschaften, die Wohnung sauber zu halten; kein Staubsauger für die Teppiche, nichts zum Bodenwischen; wir waren länger als drei Wochen dort. Es gab keine entsprechenden Mülleimer für die akribische Mülltrennung in Portugal. Wichtige Infos darüber fehlten trotz 12seitiger Hausordnung. Die Balkontür verschließt automatisch und ist von außen nicht zu öffnen🤔, wir könnten uns nur mit Kraft in die Wohnung retten! Ein Hinweis hätte helfen können. Die Sitzlandschaft ist hübsch, aber die Poster völlig durchgesessen😔.
Der Pool war seit Monaten eine Baustelle, eine Nutzung illusorisch. Gut wäre, wenn der Eigentümer selbst mit 4 Personen dort 3 Wochen verbringt.

The minuses are clearly the slow internet (for work it's tricky and if 1 person is on youtube, the other can't be). Host needs to upgrade to fiber network like the neighbors (it's the same price, just ask MEO to upgrade :) ). It's a ground floor so it's a bit unsafe that the living room doesn't have blinds that close down. The house is very well kept but the condominium isn't: the pool area deck is very damaged and looks bad, the pool had lights floating inside it and it had quite a dirty floor, neighbors also use the pool area to store a lot of belongings so it doesn't look good and the grass didn't seem to be cut for a month or more. Not the fault of the owner but the condominium really needs a complaint since it's really in bad shape. We only used the pool once because of this.
Personally I enjoy the location of the house: a calm area, where you walk to the mall and buy everything you need and with a 10m walk you are in city center. To go to the beaches you need a car.
Overall it's still a 5 star. I will come again if the internet is upgraded.

Se proprio dovremmo fare un appunto la Tv aveva tutti i canali principali ma neppure un canale italiano (il pacchetto RAI è a pagamento), il marciapiede dove si parcheggia era sporco e avevamo solo una chiave per uscire sia di casa che del portone per l’auto.

The surrounding of the pool could be more pleasant (many insects), the pillows were too firm. I have two small children and the beds, even if very good for adults, too high for children. Apart from that, excellent.
