We had a lovely stay at the apartment. The property has a great location overlooking the main pool. The luz beach is a 10 min walk away and is a lovely beach. The apartment is located on floors 1 and 2 with balaconies on both sides. There are two pools, which are very well maintained. Overall, we had a very comfortable stay!

Positive: Ruim appartement, ligging t.o.v. het strand. Zwembad faciliteiten. Negative: Verwarming zwembad was al weken kapot. Keukenuitrusting was erg eenvoudig.

Un séjour au top. La résidence était géniale, tout était bien pensé pour une famille. Nous avons bien profité des piscines familiales avec notre bébé de 1 an. De la terrasse le soir au calme. De la mer à 5min à pied de l'appartement. Les gens sont respectueux et le personnel de la résidence d'une grande gentillesse. Je recommande fortement. L'appartement lui est lumineux, équipé de la climatisation, bien pensé et avec un bon équipement !

Very nice accommodation! Big and tidy rooms, cosy bed and a clean kitchen with all you need for a few days! Two terraces and the pool is just down the stairs! There is also a tennis court. At the reception you can rent rackets for 5€! We really enjoyed our stay! And looking forward for coming back!

Luz jest przepiękne. Apartament fajny, jednak zwracam uwagę na parę „problemów”
Positive: Piękne apartamenty w super lokalizacji. Blisko zarówno do paru smacznych restauracji jak i do morza. Przed apartamentami duży, darmowy parking. Ładne, zadbane baseny. Na miejscu czekało na nas wino, co było miłym gestem. Negative: 1. Przedsiębiorstwo wynajmujące apartament zażyczyło sobie (dwa tygodnie przed pierwszym noclegiem, czyli dokładnie moment po upływie daty możliwości darmowego odwołania rezerwacji!) wpłaty kaucji. Uważam, że to czysta kpina. W ofercie nigdzie nie zaznaczono, że kaucja jest wymagana. Kaucja miała być wpłacona na zewnętrznym portalu (czyli nie przez booking!). Po skontaktowaniu się z wynajmującym zaproponowano mi - jako alternatywę dla kaucji - napisanie dokumentu, w którym zobowiązuje się „do pokrycia wszystkich szkód”, które spowoduje. Nawiasem dodam, że na miejscu nikt nie zechciał odebrać tego „przyrzeczenia”. 2. Warto wiedzieć, że apartamenty obsługiwane są przez firmę niezależną od hotelu Baia da Luz. W konsekwencji recepcja nie udzieli jakiejkolwiek informacji związanej z apartamentem, nie odpowie na pytanie czy apartament jest gotowy oraz nie bierze odpowiedzialności za pobyt w apartamencie. 3. W obiekcie było wiele „niedociągnięć”: odpadająca rurka na ręczniki w łazience, niedomykająca się kanapa, zepsuty przycisk spłuczki. Drobnostki, aczkolwiek z uwagi na próbę uzyskania od klientów kaucji, która dodatkowo nie jest autoryzowana przez booking, radziłabym wszystko dokładnie sprawdzić i sfotografować.

We are a family of four adults. We had a great stay. Very clean apartment and very nice beach not too far, about 10 minutes walk. Beautiful pools and a nice restaurant rice beside the pool area. The apartment was very clean and had everything we needed. The only but I can give is that the sofa down was a bit uncomfortable, I believe because it’s broken and the sofa bed upstairs a bit hard. Thank you very much. We had a wonderful stay. I definitely recommend it.

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour. L’appartement est parfaitement équipé. Il se trouve dans une très jolie résidence, au calme, avec deux piscines (dont une réservée aux adultes uniquement), et un restaurant/ bar à côté, ce qui est appréciable pour prendre un verre et/ou à manger lorsqu’on est à la piscine.

Positive: Ruim appartement met gezellig zwembad voor de deur en uitzicht. Dichtbij centrum en makkelijk parkeren. Negative: Er kon geen raam open in de slaapkamer waardoor we beneden moesten luchten. Airco stond daardoor aan terwijl dit niet had gehoeven als we konden luchten. Eén dag hadden we wel overlast van muziek bij het zwembad en dat klinkt dan heel erg door. Andere dagen was het heerlijk rustig maar je kan dus ook pech hebben als dit je hele vakantie gebeurt.

Positive: Appartement très bien situé, à 5 minutes à pied de la plage de Luz et à 10 minutes de deux supermarchés. De nombreux restaurants se trouvent également à proximité. Il est très bien équipé (lave vaisselle, lave linge, micro ondes, machine à café, grande smart TV, climatisation, etc. Un grand parking est également à disposition : nous n'avons eu aucun problème pour nous garer tout au long de notre séjour L'appartement se situe dans un complexe très bien entretenu : nettoyage quotidien des parties communes et des deux piscines ainsi que désinfection des chaises longues tout au long de la journée par deux employées de l'hôtel. Un restaurant italien et un bar se trouvent également sur place : bonne cuisine et prix abordables. Negative: Pas de remplacement de serviettes pendant notre séjour de deux semaines. Frigo vide à notre arrivée (certaines agences prévoient un petit quelque chose pour le jour d'arrivée de leurs clients). Mais rien de très grave compte tenu de la qualité du lieu.

Horrible experience
Horrific company, we arrived to an apartment with no electricity, pitch black at 5pm, all blinds closed completely and no way to open them because they are electric. We called rental Valley and they expected us to fix the problem. Customer service was awful. After two hours trying to sort it out in the pitch dark, no maintenance was available and they finally offered us a far smaller and inferior apartment where our young child has no bed to sleep and has to sleep on the sofa on a different floor than us, terrifying for him. Also no blinds so he can’t fall asleep and then wakes up at 5am and we are all exhausted. And we have to climb up and down to another floor to use the toilet, the original apartment we booked had proper blinds, all on one floor and was 2 bd 2 ba. There were other two bed two bath apartments like the one we had booked in the complex but they refused to move us to one of those and we were forced to move into the 1 bed 1 bath. It is completely unacceptable to offer an apartment that is not habitable with no electricity, and then refuse to put us in a similar apartment when they are available. we had a three nights day and our holiday was completely ruined. It was extremely stressful dealing with all this with an exhausted young child after a long journey, We travel very often in the past 20 years and this has been our worst experience.

Poor performance
We stayed one week in Baia da Luz. Our friend picked up the keys, to make things easier for everybody because we arrived late at night. The next day we told them about a broken shower rail and Sofa. They wrote they try to fix it, but nothing happened. There was nobody coming in person to give us some instructions and go through damages that were already there. We were just told in the regulations we have to pay for damages. After I mentioned some broken pieces I was just told to make a list and send photos. This would have been the moment to appear in person from side of rental valley. The beds, as well as the pillow and bedcover were the cheapest quality one can get. The nights were horrible. Windows in the bedroom cannot be opened and in the regulations we got we were asked to turn off the aircondition during the night. One can imagine the quality of sleep. Some further issues regarding the pool were pushed to responsibility of Baia da Luz. They generally were really friendly, but at the end they did not try to solve any problems. We are definitely not coming again.
