The space
This lovely 1-bedroom apartment is near the renowned marina of Vilamoura, with its trendy bars and restaurants. The marina is perfect for a gentle stroll in the winter sun or something livelier during the summer months. There is something to suit everybody.
On entering the apartment, you walk into the open plan lounge/dining room with doors taking you out to a small balcony, giving you views of the ocean. There is also a well-equipped kitchen with everything you need to cook up some of the local fresh produce that you can buy from the numerous markets in the Algarve.
The bedroom has twin beds that can be joined together to create a super king bed. There is also a bathroom with a toilet and overhead shower.
If you want to stay close to the apartment, you can relax around the shared pool within the complex and its landscaped gardens, taking advantage of the provided sunbeds.

The neighborhood
Just a 5-minute drive or a 30-minute walk from the apartment, you have the famous Falesia beach, one of the best beaches in the Algarve. It stretches from Vilamoura to the popular resort of Olhos de Agua, situated near Albuferia.
Just 5 minutes from Vilamoura is Quarteira, a Portuguese coastal town with its’ long sandy beach, backed by tall white buildings. The original fishing community remains, and freshly caught fish is served at eateries along the palm-lined promenade of Avenida Infante de Sagres. Quarteira’s weekly market has stalls selling items such as handbags and clothing.
This apartment is situated in the centre of the Algarve, giving you perfect access to explore. The popular Aquashow theme park is just a short drive from the condo in Quarteira.
If you come to the Algarve regularly or your the first time, this is the perfect place to relax or explore some beautiful Portuguese culture.
Getting around
Buses and trains do not go very often, and a (rental) car is recommended. However, if you decide not to hire a car, a bus stop close to the apartment will take you into the town and link up with the main bus routes throughout Algarve and Lisbon.
Other things to note
➤ Check-in time: 6 - 9pm. Check-ins after 9pm must be confirmed before booking and might result in an extra fee of 30-50 euros to be paid upon arrival.
➤ Check-out time: before 10am

On arrival I found the pool to have green algae meaning it couldn’t be used. I was then also told there wasn’t any sun loungers. Host tried to have the pool cleaned but wasn’t able too. Was disappointed as I come to vilamoura to have a sunbathing holiday by the pool. After speaking with the host about my concerns, they offered a 25% discount which wasn’t ideal considering I had to make other pool arrangements at a higher cost.
Airb&b refunded me for the entire stay in the end.
Despite the filthy pool, the apartment was ideal for me and I’d recommend staying here.

Schöne lange Strände waren in 15/20 Minuten zu Fuß erreichbar und sind ein Besuch wert.
Auch der Poolbereich war schön. Allerdings ist es wichtig, Badelatschen dabei zu haben, da man den Rasen, wegen der Dornen nicht barfuß betreten kann.
Immer wieder einen Besuch wert!

The property was dirty it had mild on walls plaster falling off and you had to hang your clothes up in a cupboard with a dirty mop bucket in there I have pictures and the property people said they could refund us any money I moved out after one night had to go and book another apartment else where don’t think I’ll be using booking.com again they said they would get me my money back but not a chance.

Very clean, very small / compact but enough for what we needed. Balcony is tiny. Swimming pool access is via reception so a 5 minute walk. There were no sunbeds when we were there in March. Overall we were satisfied.

Be aware there is a check in fee required in cash after 10pm which was not clear on the listing.

The apartment is just the right size for 1-2 people and has all the basics you need for an apartment stay. ( washing machine, wifi, etc ). The block also has a lift which is a plus.
Needed towels for the pool
Key drop as opposed to collecting in person is always easier for an apartment
