This spacious 3-bed, 2-bath townhouse with patio and roof terrace is an absolute hidden gem. Located in one of the small streets in the heart of Lagos, the owners have managed to create an open, bright and spacious holiday home that you will fall in love with from the moment you enter the front door.
The space
This lovely townhouse is located just inside the city walls of Lagos along a small and quiet street but literally around the corner from lots of shops, bars and restaurants. It has a patio with BBQ located on the ground floor that's perfect for morning coffee's as well as those summer night dinners.
When entering the house, you enter directly into the living room with big sofa and TV. The queen bedroom and a separate bathroom are located behind the living room (away from the street). Also located on the ground floor is the spacious kitchen with dining table and access to the patio with outdoor dining table.
On the first floor, the other two twin bedrooms can be found, as well as a second bathroom and access to the roof terrace from the hallway.

The neighborhood
This townhouse is located inside the walls of the old city of Lagos so you will have many shops, restaurants and bars just around the corner! The street itself is a quiet residential street with very little motorised traffic as only a handful of residents are allowed to park here. Guests can easily park at several free parking areas just outside the city wall, 5 minutes walking from the house.
The nearest beach by foot is Batata beach, located next to the town center. Meia Praia is located just behind the marina, about 20 minutes by foot, but easily accessible by car, taxi and tourist train as well, just like the famous beaches/cliff areas of Praia Dona Ana, Ponte de Piedade and Praia de Porto de Mos.
Lagos is the perfect holiday destination with a lively historical centre full of shops, (super)markets, a marina, bars and restaurants. It is known for its breathtaking cliffs, and we highly recommend a boat, kayak or SUP tour to see them from the water. The town has a picturesque historical centre, great food and friendly people. It is located on the coast. You can enjoy several watersports activities such as surfing and sailing. There are many activities for all ages and preferences in this area.
Getting around
You can reach Lagos in about one hour by car from Faro Airport, and car rental is available in the airport's parking lot. By train, it will take about 2,5 to 3 hours.
Lagos has a train station (for travel towards Faro, Lisbon and Porto) and a bus station (for buses towards the west-side of the south coast), but do note that buses and trains only go a few times per day. You can easily get around without a car, and there are plenty of taxis and Ubers available, but if you want to explore the larger Algarve area, a (rental) car is recommended.

Super easy to find, really clean and tidy and it was absolutely massive. Balcony upstairs was great for a quiet afternoon snack and drink. Everything is quite new and it feels like it was recently renovated.
Directions and check in instructions were clear, easy to find and get in.
We stayed there as a group of 6 and it didn't feel crowded at all. Would recommend for a group/family trip and would absolutely stay there again!

The only issue we encountered was an unpleasant odor in the main floor bedroom. We reached out to Rental Valley about it, and they followed up with several questions. After completing all their inquiries, they informed us that they wouldn’t be able to send a cleaner to address the issue. Instead, they suggested we clean the floors ourselves during our vacation.
The location was perfect, close to local attractions and great restaurants, but still peaceful and quiet at night. Rental Valley was incredibly welcoming and responsive, offering great recommendations for things to do in the area.
Aside from the odor in the main bedroom, everything else was excellent.

The patio and rooftop were amazing spaces to relax between activities. The beaches are also within walking distance. I would rent again on my next trip to Lagos. Thank you!

idéalement situé très proche des rues très passantes et commerçantes mais dans une rue au calme donc pas bruyant
la clim très appréciable en plein mois d'août
l'appartement n'a aucun charme mais il est propre et fonctionnel.
seul point négatif peut être manque il un peu de vaisselle (peu de verres ou de saladier par exemple quand on est beaucoup

The appartement is very nice. It is big and well equipped. It's located in the heart of the city and the free parking is quite closed to the appartement.

The unit has two amazing terraces that are perfect enjoying a glass of wine with friends.
The location is ideal as it’s tucked away on a quiet street but you are within minutes to all of the amazing restaurants and beaches. You get the best of both worlds!
The host was extremely responsive and we will definitely come back next time we are in Lagos! Thank you so much for such an amazing stay. Obrigado!
