The neighborhood
Lagos is the perfect holiday destination with a lively historical centre full of shops, (super)markets, a marina, bars and restaurants. It is known for its breathtaking cliffs, and we highly recommend a boat, kayak or SUP tour to see them from the water. The town has a picturesque historical centre, great food and friendly people. As it is located on the coast, you can enjoy several watersports activities such as surfing and sailing. There are many activities for all ages and preferences in this area.
You can do everything on foot! The beach is only a 10 min walk away, the Marina only 5 min, the city centre not more than 10 min, and the supermarket at 10 min away. The central train station of Lagos is even closer, only a 3 min walk.
Getting around
You are free to do everything on foot, but if you want to explore the Monchique Range, enjoy the worldwide famous Surf spots (Praia do Amado) and visit the south-westernmost tip of Europe (Sagres), it is better to rent a car. Don't worry about parking; you will easily find a spot directly from the building. You can rent a car from the Faro Airport very cheaply or take the train from Faro central train station directly to the door of the building.

Stay was ok. When we arrived, we didn’t have energy but after an hour and some calls everything worked out well. The location is good, good parking, you can drive to the supermarket fastly. The apartment was very spacious. Kitchen was great, though the dishes had to be washed again due to stains. Bed was a little small but ok.
Big but: After filling in the form for the rental I got a suspicious message with my personal data from the rental. After calls with Airbnb, they assured it wasn’t from them or from the rental. However, I have never have had security issues with Airbnb. So I suppose it was from the rentals lack of security with the form. I tried contacting the rental immediately. Unfortunately it took several days for the rental to answer my message. I was and am still really scared of my personal data being stolen.

Great stay, espesically for the price! Marina and the team were so repsonsive for any questions I had too. Location is great if you want to be close to the town and marine, but be based somewhere a little quieter and peaceful. The only downside was the rooftop pool was closed off , that said, the weather had been colder and wetter than usual so this may have been the reason. Would recommend :)

Die Unterkunft war wirklich sehr geräumig. Es gab mehr als genug Platz für 2 Personen. Es gab ebenfalls 2 Balkone, wobei wir den größeren mit dem Tisch nicht nutzen weil dort nie Sonne war. Der andere Balkon ist relativ schmal, was es schwierig macht dort zusammen zu sitzen aber dort schien den ganzen Tag die Sonne. Die Wohnung ist modern eingerichtet jedoch etwas ‘heruntergekommen’. Es könnte mal gestrichen werden. Von der Altstadt braucht man ca 20 min zu Fuß aber es ist ein schöner Spaziergang am Hafen entlang. Insgesamt hatten wir einen tollen Aufenthalt und würden wieder kommen.

This very spacious apartment provided a comfortable stay in Lagos. The bed was comfortable and the 3 balcony doors provided lots of natural light. We had 2 issues with the shower and the kitchen sink that were eventually addressed by the property management company.

Situé à proximité des attractions de Lagos et des services. L'appartement, bien que grand et ayant un très bon potentiel, est malheureusement très mal entretenue et sale. À notre arrivée, la salle de bain n'avait pas été nettoyer. L'agence nous a répondu que les tâches étaient permanentes, nous avons du envoyer une vidéo pour démontrer qu'elles ne l'étaient pas, ils sont passé au troisième jour pour nettoyer. De plus, peu importe la durée de votre séjour, vous n'aurez qu'une grande et une petite serviette par personne, on vous chargera pour en avoir plus. Nous n'avions pas de draps ou de couverture pour le sofa-lit. L'agence nous a dit que c'était normal parce que le sofa-lit n'était pas pour nous. Nous avons du prouver, qu'au moment de la réservation, il était clairement mentionné que l'appartement disposait d'un lit et d'un sofa-lit... trois jours plus tard nous avons reçu draps et couverture. Notez aussi qu'un gros chantier de construction est en cours à proximité, c'est très bruyant les jours de semaine.

Die Wohnung ist groß und hat alles was man benötigt. Die Gegend ist ruhig und sicher. Mit einem kleinen Fußmarsch (20-30 min) ist die Altstadt gut zu erreichen. Dennoch merkt man, dass die Wohnung schon ziemlich in die Jahre gekommen ist und einige Dinge nicht gut gepflegt oder sogar kaputt sind. Das Bad ist sehr klein und dunkel. Für ein paare Tage, bei denen man viel unterwegs ist aber vollkommen in Ordnung.

Die Unterkunft ist groß, gut ausgestattet in super Lage. Die Unterkunft hätte deutlich gründlicher gereinigt werden müssen. Es lagen teilweise Krümel, Haare auf den Oberflächen rum. Die Innenausstattung ist auch schon in die Jahre gekommen, zB zeigte sich Schimmel am Duschvorhang, die Fenster ließen sich nicht sicher verriegeln, weshalb wir daher immer die Rollladen runtergefahren haben. Die Kommunikation mit dem Gastgeber lief problemlos und ein early Check-in war möglich. Wenn einige Erneuerungen der Unterkunft stattfinden würden, würde man sich da sicherlich sehr wohlfühlen!

Lovely stay! We worked from the apartment and had no issues with internet being on calls most of the day. The location is great, easy 20 min walk into the main town whilst being quiet at night. The place was clean and hosts responsive. Highly recommend!

Wir waren 5 Tage dort. Bei Problemen wird schnell reagiert. Super Lage zur Stadtmitte, Bars und Strand. Leider davor ein Sportzentrum/Schule oder Ähnliches, dadurch war es jeden Tag bis spät in die Nacht sehr laut, eventuell war es auch nur ein Event zu dem Zeitpunkt als wir dort waren. Ansonsten sehr groß, gemütliche Betten. Sehr gute Ausstattung. Sogar ein Sonnenschirm für den Strand vorhanden. Gute Parkmöglichkeiten. Dusche war etwas runtergekommen.

Wij hebben een leuke tijd gehad in Lagos. De locatie was top, lekker rustig en op loopafstand van de stad. Het appartement hadden we alleen beter verwacht. De staat van het appartement was matig en het was niet schoon, dat vonden we wel erg jammer. Je doet netjes de vaat de vuilnis zelf weg brengen en dan zou een poets team komen poetsen. Maar dat kon wel echt beter! Verder hebben we een fijne tijd gehad in Portugal
Afstand tot strand, Lagos centrum en andere locaties waren goed Spullen in het Appartement zoals keuken gerei en sanitair waren vies. Staat van de keuken, deze valt op veel plekken uit elkaar beetje onderhoud doet wonderen

Die Unterkunft befindet sich in einer sehr gepflegten und modernen Wohnanlage. Diese ist sehr ruhig gelegen. Viele Parkmöglichkeiten befinden sich in unmittelbarer Nähe zum Haus. Die Wohnung selbst ist sehr groß und hell und modern ausgestattet. Einen Stern Abzug gibt es, da nicht alles gereinigt wurde und man auch nicht die Möglichkeit hatte, selbst sauber zu machen, da keine Putzutensilien vorhanden waren.

All was very easy to do from there.
In the daytime from monday to friday its sometimes a bit noisy from the school, which is directly next to it. But… its kids playing... and that´s kind of a good noise, right? :)
All in all the apartment is wonderful! So much space. Very clean and all you need to have a great stay!

Close to marina, beach and shopping. Large space with comfortable bed. Multiple sunny terraces where we could dry our clothing. It was great that the unit had a washer since this was the last leg of our journey and we needed to wash our clothes. However, for short stays like mine (5 nights) I would have liked a few more amenities such as shampoo and or body wash, small amount of laundry soap (had to buy a large bottle that we left), at least one pod of dishwasher soap. Nice dishwasher but didn’t use it because we didn’t want to have to buy a large quantity of that too. As far as I know I never communicated with the host as the rental agency handled everything. While they were able to let us in after a two hour wait, their instructions were unclear, incorrect and insufficient to gain access ourselves. All said, if you’re staying for only a short time, be sure to bring everything you need in terms of body and clothes washing. It’s a great location for the reasons stated above.

Die Unterkunft hat uns sehr gefallen. Wir hatten eine sehr gute Anbindung an Strand und Stadt. In der Nähe ist auch gleich ein Bahnhof und eine Busstation in Richtung Innenstadt. Wir haben uns gleich wohl gefühlt, da alles wohnlich eingerichtet war. Es waren alle benötigten Dinge in der Wohnung vorhanden, jedoch wäre es besser gewesen man hätte wenigstens mehr von jedem Reinigungsartikel wie zum Beispiel Müllbeutel gehabt. (uns hat 1 Müllbeutel extra nicht für 2 Wochen gereicht)
Es waren wunderschöne 2 Wochen und wir würden auf jedenfall wieder kommen. Die Preisleistung war super und man konnte somit viel in Portugal erleben.

Die Wohnung war groß und gut. Zentrums- und Strandnah. Einen Meerblick oder Stadtblick gibt es nicht, da die Wohnung im 1. Stock liegt. Anonyme Wohnblocks. Kostenlose Parkplätze waren ausreichend vorhanden. Kommunikation mit Vermieter war mangelhaft, da keine Info zu früherem Check-in trotz Nachfrage.

Eine sehr große und gut gelegene Wohnung - sowohl der Strand als auch die Stadt sind fußläufig (ca. 10-15 min) gut erreichbar. Die Wohngegend ist trotzdem sehr ruhig und mit vielen Parkmöglichkeiten vor der Türe. Die Ausstattung der Wohnung ist wirklich sehr gut und es ist alles vorhanden, was man benötigt ! Leider ist die Wohnung im Gegensatz zu den Fotos bereits sehr abgewohnt. Dies betraf vor allem die Balkonmöbel und die Küchenzeile sowie das Bad! Das war leider etwas schade und das haben wir so nicht erwartet. Ansonsten hatten wir einen schönen Aufenthalt und können die Wohnung empfehlen!

Great location but because it is more of a long term rental, there weren’t any of the same amenities I would expect from an AirBnB.
We planned the Algarve in the middle of our two week trip in Portugal to purposely to do laundry, only to find that we had to buy a large bottle of detergent because there was none on site. In addition, we were given two rolls of toilet paper for a 5 night stay - missed that in description - but again, reminded me that it’s a rental apartment - not the same as what I’ve been used to. The bed is somewhat comfortable, but the sheets are thin and stiff.
As for the noise people wrote about, we found the apartment to be quiet and peaceful.
If you’re looking for a large unit, close to the marina and beaches, then this place is great.

The location is great, close to the city center and marina, while in a quiet neighbourhood. The parking was good, and always available.
On the surface the place is great. Spacious, new, and with a lot of amenities. But there where a number of things that bothered us during our stay.
One of the main reasons for us choosing this place was to have a pool available. Unfortunately the pool was dirty every time we went there. We reported this, and was told it would be reported to the condominium. Nothing changed though. The faucet was broken when we arrived, so we physically had to hold it while we used it. When we reported this, we were told that they would look at it during check-out, a week later. The washing machine smelled, and no cleaning supplies for us to clean it. The kitchen was crooked, and the plinth was constantly falling out, hitting us.
In general, it doesn't seem to be put a lot of effort into the place. We constantly discovered things that were broken or not maintained.

Myself and my daughter have had a lovely relaxing week at Casa Marina. The apartment exceeded our expectations in size and was extremely clean and well equipped with everything we needed. The location of the apartment was excellent, the marina being only 5 minutes on foot and the beach and old town approximately 15 minutes. We would not hesitate to stay here again and highly recommend Marina's apartment for a fab stay in Lagos.

Leider muss ich sagen, dass mein Aufenthalt in dieser Unterkunft sehr enttäuschend war. Es gibt einige gravierende Mängel, die ich nicht übersehen kann.
Erstens ist die Wohnung in einem schlechten Zustand. Der Wäscheständer war kaputt und die Dusche funktionierte nicht richtig. Das Wasser wechselte ständig zwischen eiskalt und siedend heiß. Das hat das Duschen zu einer unangenehmen Erfahrung gemacht.
Jedoch möchte ich besonders den folgenden Punkt hervorheben. In der Beschreibung wurde der Zugang zum Fitnessstudio zugesichert. Leider wurde mir der Schlüssel erst nach zweimaligem Nachfragen und erst am dritten Tag meines Aufenthalts übergeben. Dieser Schlüssel hätte von Anfang an verfügbar sein müssen. Ich bat um eine angemessene Kompensation, da ich gezwungen war, mir für die restliche Zeit meines Aufenthalts ein anderes Fitnessstudio in der Nähe zu suchen. Leider habe ich vom Gastgeber keine Kompensation erhalten.

Locating the property was very straightforward, gaining initial access somewhat less so. I would like to think that this was an unfortunate occurance but it might be something which is worth reviewing. However, once my wife and I were actually in the property, we were delighted. It was everything we had hoped for. Clean, light, airy, spacious and well appointed. Great TV and WiFi. Lovely and peaceful in the evening and overnight. For our week in Lagos, it was perfect, with easy access to superb beaches and the town itself. We hadn't hired a car and frankly it wasn't needed. We had arrived in Lagos after a weeks cycling south through the Rota Vicentina to the Algarve and simply wanted to relax. Eating out was a pleasure with plenty of restaurants to suit all tastes. Plenty of supermarkets within easy reach. So thank you for making our stay so pleasant and comfortable. Also thank you to Rental Valley for looking into our initial entry issues.

Loved the location it was quiet and not many tourists in that area. Went to roof top area to get some sun and swim in the pool. Could make our breakfast in the well equipped kitchen. The apartment is conveniently located and functional - we stayed for a month and worked from home the whole time. The rental agency was very responsive and helped us out with all our requests in a timely manner which was appreciated.
The main issue is that the flat is loud, very loud. You can hear all the neighbours’ conversations distinctly (and more), and the balcony is facing a school so you can hear the children every day of the week.
Finally, the apartment would benefit from a bit of decoration - it’s all grey and lacks some proper lighting.
We were overall happy with our stay as we went in low season so the price of the flat was almost half of what it is during high season.

We recently stayed for almost 2 months, and first, I must say that the apartment was excellent. The space was spacious (really big, it feels like 90m2) and comfortable, and the quality of the furnishings and kitchen equipment was top-notch. The internet connection was also reliable, which was very important as we did work during our stay. Additionally, the location was fantastic. It was just a short walk to the beach, marina, and city center, which made our stay even more enjoyable.
However, there were a few areas for improvement. The service and communication with the management company were not as smooth as we expected. We encountered a problem, and it took a lot of back and forth to resolve it, which was disappointing. Furthermore, the first cleaning lady was quite rude to us, which was not a pleasant experience.
Despite these issues, our overall stay was very positive, and I would recommend it to others looking for a comfortable and convenient place in the heart of Lagos

Flat close to the beach for a great workation: We stayed for nearly three weeks and specially loved that it took us just 10 minutes to the beach. If you consider working in Lagos: Its spacious enough for two to work there and Wi-Fi was super fast. Check in was easy and Dulce was always super fast in replying and very friendly. Also she had prepared a little welcome with pastel de nata and almond cookies and wine for us which was cute! When we arrived the water tab in the kitchen was loose and Dulce just sent us somebody to repair it the next day. So thank you very much.

Die Unterkunft war großartig. Man hat eine große, moderne Wohnung für sich allein. Die Lage ist sehr gut, man ist innerhalb von 3 Minuten am Bahnhof (wenn man die Abkürzung gefunden hat) und zur Promenade/Innenstadt brauch man auch höchstens nur 10 Minuten. Die Wohnung ist sehr gut gepflegt und gut ausgestattet. Auch die Dachterasse mit Pool ist sehr schön, leider war es bei unserem Aufenthalt zu kalt, um diese zu nutzen. Die Kommunikation mit Dulce hat sehr gut funktioniert.

It was really nice to stay there :)
The house is quiet, so you can enjoy being there peacefully. The apartment has little imperfections, but it doesn’t affect being in there. The pool at the roof is cold, but really nice and being cleaned all the time. Deck chairs are a little bit dusty but comfortable.

The stay with Bernardo was very nice. The flat was as described in the advertisement and had all the important equipment needed for a holiday. The location is also great and you can quickly walk to the harbour and the city centre.
Also worth mentioning is the quick and easy communication.

Our stay was great. Welcoming instructions are very clear and a lot of tips are given on notes and maps in the apartment. Also Dulce checking up on us if everything was well is much appreciated, all in all communications were very good. The apartment is not ín the city centre, but with a 15min walk you are. In return you get a very spacious apartment. The balcony is also nice to relax and have some coffee in the morning.

Bernardo was a great host! Location of the apartment is just a few minutes of walking distance from the beach, the Marina and the town centre. Although check in was not done in person, it was all very well communicated and we had no problems. The flat is a bit cold as there's not much sun coming in but there is a heater available. We would definitely stay again!

Our stay at Casa da Marina was nothing less than perfect. The location is fantastic. Meia Praia is a short walk away and although it doesn’t really have the rock formations, it was one of our favorite beaches. It was never crowded (late September) and didn’t seem to have as much of a seaweed problem as other beaches with the rock formations. The water was calm, clear, and clean and there was always a lifeguard on duty. Beach combing on this beach was also very good, we found starfish and cuttlefish bones! Casa da Marina is also a very short walk to Lagos Marina where we were able to catch a boat excursion to Benagil. And just over the bridge from the marina is the rest of Lagos. So much fantastic food. Casa da Marina actually felt larger than what the pictures showed. So much space, super clean, lovely balconies, no complaints! Dulce was lovely, checking in on us throughout our stay. Check-in and check-out were very easy. We were greeted with a bottle of wine and tea on the dining table. Plenty of parking. Beach supplies were very helpful (umbrella and beach towels)! Dishwasher and washing machine for clothes. I also appreciated all of the information that was left for us. There is a tip packet and detailed map. I have to say Casa da Marina was everything we hoped for and more. The only thing I would say is it can be a little dark walking back at night, but we never had any problems. Thank you again Bernardo and Dulce, we hope to visit again.

Die Wohnung ist extrem sauber und perfekt ausgestattet mit allem was Man braucht und sehr geräumig. Bett ist sehr bequem. Unser Aufenthalt war in der Wohnung von Marina war überaus herausragend. Die Wohnung is in einem schönen und modernen Wohngebiet in Lagos welches keine paar Minuten Gehweg von dem Strand entfernt ist. Man hat ein großen Supermarkt direkt in der Nähe das alles anbieten was man sucht und braucht. Ebenso gibt es reichlich an Restaurants in der Nähe die man besuchen kann oder mit UberEats oder ofer Glovo innerhalb von 20min bestellen kann. Der Host war auch immer zuverlässig und immer erreichbar wenn man Fragen oder Hilfe für gewissen Sachen wie aktuell mit den Corona Test hatte. Wer gut eine Unterkunft in Lagos sucht, ist dies eine sehr gute Entscheidung für Familien oder Pärchen. Vielen Dank für alles an unser Host Dulce!

We had a lovely stay at this apartment which was very clean and perfect for a base to explore the Algarve. The bed was comfy and the kitchen had everything we needed to cook some meals throughout our stay. We appreciated the tips for the Algarve and visited the west coast beaches as recommended which are absolutely stunning. We spent a week of remote working at Bernardo's place and it was perfect. Very clean and spacious apartment, the location is both close to the beach — Meia Praia and to Lagos City Centre. This was a great place to stay in Lisbon. The apartment has a small but lovely balcony that you can see the water from. It's a great place to sit out in the mornings to catch some sun. The kitchen is larger than most in Lisbon and is really nice. I loved using the kitchen so much that I ended up cooking almost every meal (which is unlike me). Also, it's on a famous street in which two trams cross each other several times a day as they take passengers up and down the large hill. This apartment is right in the middle of the hill so it's a little bit of a hike up from cais do sodre but not bad, especially not compared to most of Lisbon. I definitely recommend this place for short and long stays.

Marina's place is absolutely amazing! It's perfect. The apartment itself is in an amazing location right near the marina and train station in Lagos, and a very short walk to the center of town. The apartment itself comes with amazing amenities and is such a large and immaculate space. There were so many personal and wonderful touches like a bottle of wine, and local treats along with a guide full of recommendations. Bernardo’s apartment was perfect for our three day stay in Lagos! It was very spacious, clean and charming. Extra perks were the washer/dryer and motorized blinds that made the apartment completely dark. The bed was so comfortable and we slept great. Dulce checked us in, and upon arrival there was a welcome gift of an almond homemade cake with wine that was delicious. She was very friendly, answered all of our questions and gave us a great tour of the apartment and excellent recommendations for restaurants and activities in the area. The apartment is just how it looks in the pictures. It was new, clean and well furnished with all mod cons. If you want to stay in and cook for yourself the kitchen has everything you need. It is well located, we had a hire car and it was easy to park and get around but you can walk everywhere too. We really enjoyed our stay at Marinas place. Marina and Bernardo are outstanding hosts. They greeted us at the check in, gave us some tips about the area (if you’re from Germany - both of them speak excellent German 🇩🇪) and even followed up with us during our stay. The Apartment was very clean when we arrived. It’s well equipped with many appliances and utensils. We had everything we needed and even more. The area is very calm and felt safe during our stay. In addition to that it’s only 5 minutes (walking) from the train station. From the station you can reach the bus station on the other side of the pier (also 5 minutes walking) At the pier side you will find many great restaurants, stores and cafes. Mini market shop on Site is a bit more expensive, but open 7 days 8-20 hrs so very convenient. Train station convenient for arrival from Lisbon and for transfer to Faro airport. Great location, easy to get to via the train (though definitely look up the timetable since it doesn't run as often as we thought to and from Lisbon)! Unfortunately it was very windy and rainy when we were there, but the apartment was so cozy that we didn't mind staying in. Easily walkable across the river to the main town with great restaurants and music, though a bit of a walk to the beaches and cave (it is doable, just far and if the weather was better it wouldn't have bothered us at all). Marina's place is well-located a short walk from the Marina and a little further to the old town. A full service, modern supermarket (the Pingo Doce) is only a few minutes away. The apartment is quite large for Europe with good light, and we enjoyed hanging out in the living room. There is a school across the street that can get a bit noisy during school hours, but it was not a major issue. Overall highly recommended.

The apartment is about a 5 to 10 minute walk from just about everything you'll need: beach, groceries, markets, city centre, etc. The apartment was much bigger than we expected and was very clean. WiFi was fast and the TV has Netflix (if you have your own account). One of the best apartments I've had the pleasure of staying in using AirBnB.

We spent almost a month in Portugal in 5 different places and that place in Lagos was one of our favorites. Amazing luxury apartment. Everything was 10 out of 10: location, cleanliness, spacious kitchen. Old town is 5 minutes away. We even walked to dona Ana beach, it was 25 minutes very pleasant walk. The apartment is fully renovated with great furniture, linens, dishes. It even has dishwasher and washer machine. Thank you for hosting us, Valeria and Gregory.

Wir waren eine Woche in Lagos und haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt! Die Wohnung ist sehr sauber und mit allem ausgestattet was man braucht, inkl. Strandstühle und Handtücher für den Strand! Im Bad fehlen lediglich ein paar Ablageflächen und Haken. Die Wohnung befindet sich in einem Wohnviertel, man ist in wenigen Minuten an der Marina und in ca 10min im Zentrum von Lagos. Gegenüber befindet sich eine Schule. Die Kommunikation verlief top, wir hatten einen sehr netten Check in mit Dulce, die uns einige Tipps gegeben hat! Vielen Dank dafür und auch für die Leckerei und den Wein! Wir können die Wohnung sehr weiterempfehlen!

Would definitely recommend this apartment for a stay in Lagos! The apartment is large with two large balconies. There's a dishwasher as well as a clothes washer which is really nice. The kitchen is large and very functional. The bed is comfortable. Air conditioning works well. Our host was amazing and very accommodating when unforeseen circumstances caused a delay in our check in. It is a 10 minute walk into town which was very doable and made for a quieter stay. Parking was free and easy. A great stay!

Hemos tenido unas vacaciones geniales en el apartamento. La comunicación no podía haber sido mejor. Nos recibió Dulce quien durante toda la estancia estuvo atenta de nosotros y siempre amable explicándonos todo al llegar y dando recomendaciones de las mejores playas, restaurantes, etc. Hasta nos recomendó su dentista porque tuvimos un pequeño percance en nuestro viaje! La casa es mucho más grande de lo que imaginábamos en las fotos, tiene todo lo que necesitas y la piscina es un valor añadido para disfrutar de un baño. La limpieza genial también. En cuanto a la ubicación, a pesar de no estar en el centro, accedes muy bien a través de un puente en la marina por lo que nosotros agradecimos estar un pelín más alejados del bullicio ya que, nos gustaba coger el coche y visitar otros lugares como Sagres o la costa vicentina. En definitiva, la casa es perfecta en todos los sentidos y la amabilidad y trato recibido está por encima de las expectativas de cualquier alojamiento. Recomendaríamos la casa una y mil veces más. My wife, my one year old son and me spend 2 wonderful weeks in the apartment. It is very well equipped (AC, washing machine, dishwasher...) and also fits nicely for traveling with small kids, since its spacious and a baby chair and baby bed are provided. Marina provided us with all the informations in advance and was very fast in answering any questions, and the check-in with Maria was welcoming and without any problems. We can fully recommend the apartment and also Lagos for a very pleasant Algarve visit. Thanks again Marina and Maria!

Unser Urlaub in Lagos war der erste Trip nach Portugal und ohne Ortskenntnisse oder Ideen wie es dort sein könnte sind wir über einige Reisetipps und (dank AirBNB) dort in Marinas Appartement gelandet. Es ist dort super sauber, die Größe ist dem Preis mehr als angemessen. Es ist super modern ausgestattet und sehr toll eingerichtet. Selbst ein Sonnenschirm und ein Kinderstuhl (für Paare mit Kleinkind also) sind ebenfalls vorhanden. Man muss sich einfach nur fallen lassen, den Urlaub genießen und abschalten. In der unmittelbaren Umgebung befinden sich der Strand Meia Praia, den man genau wie den hiesigen Einkaufsmarkt Pingo Doce zu Fuss super erreichen kann. Wir würden nicht empfehlen zu Lidl oder Aldi zu fahren, denn im Pingo gibt es alles was das Herz begehrt. Es gibt einen Fischmarkt und einen Wochenmarkt ca. Fussminuten entfernt. Unser Empfang war sehr herzlich und toll. Die Aussstattung in der Küche ist sehr gut, wenn mann allerdings Wert auf Kindergerechte Teller und Tassen legt, sollte man hier wissen, das es ausschließlich Glas und Porzellan gibt. Hat uns aber nicht gestört als Paar. In jedem Fall werden wir nicht das letzte Mal da gewesen sein. Empfehlenswert sind auch die Praia Dona Ana und das Restaurant Cantinho Algarvio, so wie Antonios und Campi Mare. Die allseits empfohlene Cataplana würden wir immer wieder im erst genannten Restaurant essen. Da gibt es doch große Unterschiede der Zubereitung. Die Innenstadt kann man ebenfalls entlang der Promenade gemütlich laufend in Minuten erreichen. Zahlreiche Verkaufsstände bringen einen direkt in die historische Altstadt. Einfach Klasse alles in allem!!

Wij hebben een fantastische tijd gehad in dit appartement. De aankomst was erg prettig omdat wij netjes ontvangen werden, een korte rondleiding kregen en daarnaast tips ontvingen. Tijdens ons verblijf hadden we de mogelijkheid om lekker te ontspannen in het appartement of bij het zwembad. De locatie is super. Het appartement ligt in een iets rustigere omgeving maar nog steeds dichtbij het historische centrum, het strand en de supermarkt. Kortom het appartement was super!

Die Wohnung ist super ausgestattet, sehr geräumig und toll gelegen und daher auch für einen längeren Aufenthalt sehr zu empfehlen. Die Angaben in der Anzeige entsprechen exakt den tatsächlichen Verhältnissen. Darüber hinaus hat die Kommunikation usw. mit den Gastgebern sehr gut geklappt und wir hatten eine schöne Zeit!

The place was beyond expectation. It is such a very nice, spacious, bright and welcoming home. The best place to stay when looking for a calm and relaxed holiday. The communication with the host was amazing. The cleanliness is up to a very high standard. The location is what makes it even more appealing, very close to the local town centre, with the Marina and the train station right at the door step. Definitely would rebook it in the near future when visiting Lagos again. Highly recommended

The pictures do not do the apartment justice, it is much much bigger with a lot of space and it is beautiful! Perfect location to access everything, right next to the train station to quickly go into portimao for shopping. 5 minutes walk from the beach and marina, 10 minutes walk from the town. Perfect!

This space is a wonderful rental for a stay in Lagos. Excellent location- walking distance to the center of Lagos, beach access, marina, and groceries. The apartment is so spacious, very new, super clean, and with all the comfortable amenities: laundry, dishwasher, gym, bath tub, light blocking curtains. Bed is very comfortable. We stayed with our one year old daughter- crib/ high chair were provided and the space is very ideal for traveling with a child. We highly recommend this BnB to future travelers in the Algarve.

Bernard's apartment is central to most everything in Lagos: public transportation, beach, restaurant, market, and old town. The place is large and could comfortably fit four people. The kitchen is well equipped for cooking, the bed was comfortable, and the Internet and cable tv was reliable and fast. The apartment is nicely decorated.
Maria was our contact and checked us in and gave us fig jam. She gave us information about the town and helped us when we locked ourselves out of the apartment.
Lagos is a wonderful place and we had an excellent time and we were sad to leave.

We (my 1 year old son, my husband and me) stayed 1 week in Marias Apartment. The check-in was perfect. Maria was there on time to welcome us. A very nice and important detail for us was that she provided a baby cot and a childrens chair for my son. Thumbs up! There is also a lift in the house - perfect if you have a lot of luggage and a stroller like we had. We came by car and found always a parking space close by the house. The apartment was very clean and perfectly equipped. We really felt at home! The location of the apartment is also top. It is quiet but also close to everything like supermarket, beach, the city. It was a very nice stay, we definitely would recommend it and would also come back. Many thanks to Marina and Maria!

The apartment is stunning and much more spacious than the photos suggest. It was spotlessly clean and very well equipped. Wifi has a new router and the connection was perfect throughout the apartment, including the balconies. The apartment as described is just a few minutes walk from the Marina and 10/15 mins from the Old Town and beaches. With a supermarket less than 10 mins walk, it is a good location for a base in Lagos. Maria was there to greet us when we arrived with a warm welcome, including some homemade jam (which was delicious). Not only would we recommend this apartment but we will most definitely be back.

This is a fairly new and modern condo so it is very clean. The internet was a bit choppy and only worked at certain hours. I was told by Maria, the local contact, that they will be getting a new modem for the apartment after my departure so hopefully that is now working! Overall it is an excellent place close to the lagos marina. I definitely recommend.
