The neighborhood
You are a 10-minute drive from the popular resort of Albufeira, which has something for everybody. If the lively strip is not for you, then why not try the Old Town, which has lots of winding streets full of culture and local history with the beautiful church of St Anne's and the old statue of St Michael. The old Town also has two beaches which you can access by escalator down the cliff face. There are plenty of shops for souvenirs and many bars and restaurants to choose from.
The resort is within walking distance of the famous Maria Luisa beach and if you want to stay local there are also restaurants and plenty of activities on site such as 6 swimming pools and an outdoor kids play area. For an extra fee you can also enjoy facilities such as tennis, the onsite spa and the golf course.
You have the very popular Zoomarine park just a 15-minute drive away in Guia. There are also two water parks around a 30-minute drive from the apartment.
Getting around
There is public transport available in the area and all around the Algarve. But bus and trains do not go very often and a (rental) car is recommended

I felt the cost of using the golf course was very expensive for one round_ 169 euro for my husband and son including clubs/balls/tees-discovered club rental in another area much better value.

The lighting along the pathway to the apartment did not work. We brought this to the attention of the management but nothing appeared to happen. It was very dark from 9pm onwards, It was very dangerous as you could not see where you were going. When it had rained you could not see the puddles. It was very wet and slippery.
The lack of lighting meant it was not safe to walk if you were a single female.
The sprinklers to water the garden came on very early.....9pm. This made walking along the pathway very difficult. Not only did it make the paths wet and slippery we got very wet as you could not detect the direction of the sprinklers. Again we did mention this to the management.

Villa is stylish with all needed, feels really like at home. It is operation by the rental agency, staff are friendly and helpful as well as the resort reception. There were some problems with our check-in once we arrived, but it was resolved very quickly.
The resort has couple of restaurants located inside, next to the pools. Food is nice and not very expensive, pizza costs around 10-15 euros.
Inside villa you have all needed for stay with family, including washing and coffee machine, dish washer, A/C, electric kettle, TV, etc. We only had to buy some grocery to prepare our food.
Villa, terrace and surrounding area was clean and spacious. Beds in 2 bedrooms were big and comfortable; 2 bathrooms were clean but no toiletries.
Recommended!
Nothing, I would stay here again when next time in the south of Portugal.
The only recommendation would be to find yourself some activities outside of the village, for example, beaches, night clubs, local attractions as it might get boring to stay inside the village for more than 4-5 days without some entertainment.

Contudo, fiquei profundamente desiludido com esta empresa (Rental Valley) que gere este apartamento inserido dentro do condomínio.
A insatisfação remete para uma taxa de 30€ adicional pedida após o check-out, argumentando que foram deixadas 2 toalhas danificadas no apartamento e que esta taxa seria para a substituição das mesmas.
Não foram deixadas toalhas danificadas, mas sim 2 toalhas bastante sujas, unicamente devido a terem sido usadas para limpar o apartamento que se encontrava lastimavelmente sujo mesmo tendo sido paga uma taxa de 120€ para esse efeito.
Encontramos cotão acumulado em diversos sítios, teias de aranha, imenso bolor dentro do congelador e até sangue nas almofadas.
Experiência a repetir no empreendimento, mas a não repetir com a Rental Valley!!

El entorno: zona ajardinada alrededor de todos los apartamentos con bonitos árboles y flores cuidado con esmero. Piscinas de uso común para toda la urbanización.
Sus terracitas orientadas al jardin y a la piscina donde daba el sol de la mañana e invitaba a desayunar en el exterior.
La tranquilidad, el silencio y sosiego en toda la urbanización y a cualquier hora que facilitan el descanso y relax. principalmente enfocada a familias
La distribución y decoración de las estancias muy bonita , práctica y acogedora.
Menaje de cocina muy completo. Las camas comodísimas, con ropa de cama nueva y limpia , así como toallas de calidad y nuevas.
Proporcionaba los productos de limpieza básicos.
La diligencia tanto del propietario como del servicio de mantenimiento para arreglar las averías y desperfectos más urgentes.
Según entramos se notaba poco limpio y efectivamente el suelo estaba sin barrer y fregar, polvo en los muebles, escurreplatos lleno de moho negro, colchas y cortinas sucias. También ventanas, y contrapuertas venecianas de madera exteriores de salida hacia las 3 terrazas de que costa el apartamento sucisinas así como el suelo de las tres terrazas sucios con acumuló de importante cantidad de restos de vegetación de los jardines
Armarios de los baños en mal estado de limpieza, afectados por la humedad en su interior.
Mal funcionamiento de las cerraduras de todas las puertas que por un lado rozaban contra el suelo y por otro fallaba el mecanismo de manilla que dificultaba mucho en ocasiones abrir y cerrar las puertas con riesgo de quedar atrapado. Por suerte viajé con mi hermano que era capaz de girar las manillas y empujar las puertas con más fuerza que yo y siempre conseguia abrirlas. No obstante lo puse en conocimiento de la recepción y el propietario y en el mismo día arreglaron el roce de las puertas contra el suelo, no así con las manillas
El lavaplatos ( este presentaba mucha suciedad en el filtro ) y el horno no funcionaban. El horno hacia saltar los automáticos de la luz. Igualmente que con las puertas, el lavaplatos quedó arreglado el primer día tras mi reclamación y el horno lo llevaron para su reparación/ sustitución.
Todas las luces exteriores fundidas salvo una, ncluso una tenía el casquillo roto . Lo arreglaron enseguida tras mi reclamación.
Por toda la casa hay pequeños detalles decorativos rotos o muy deteriorados , viejos ..por ejemplo.todos los apliques de los baños viejos y oxidados, ganchos de sujeción de las cortinas sueltos dejados en los armarios de los baños...
El tendal de mano viejo y con corrosión.
