The neighborhood
For those who love the sea and want to explore the Algarve coastline, there are a variety of activities in the area. If you enjoy walking, you can walk from the Marina to the Old Town where you have two beaches to relax and unwind. The Old Town has lots of winding streets full of culture and local history, from the old statue of St Michael to the beautiful church of St Anne’s. The Old Town Main Square offers a wide variety of shops restaurants and bars.
The local Giro bus goes every half hour from the Marina to the Old Town of Albufeira. If you want to go further afield you can link up with the main bus service where you can visit East to West of the Algarve.
The livelier side of Albufeira is known as Oura or the Strip which is full of bars and restaurants, it also has the popular Oura beach with some amazing coastline views.
You have the very popular Zoomarine park just a 15-minute drive away in Guia and two water parks around a 30-minute drive from the apartment.
If you want to relax or have an adventure, then Albufeira is a great place to stay.
Getting around
There is public transport available in the area and all around the Algarve. However, buses and trains do not go very often, and a (rental) car is recommended.

The apartment is as described, rooms were nice, the garden and rooftop beautiful. The kitchen has lots of space in the fridge/freezer. We had an infant with us and the apartment had a travel cot and high chair which we used. The complex is lovely, quiet and the pool area is great, very clean and not too busy. Some deck chairs are not in the best condition, but we were always fine getting one when we wanted to. There is not much to do within walking distance - a car or taxis is needed. Ubers are easy to get and cheap. Lots of shops within a 10 minute drive. We had one problem unfortunately which was a leak from one of the showers. It leaked through the ceiling into the dining area, dripping down the light fitting. We raised it immediately and maintenance did come to look at it, but it was not resolved. The outcome was basically that it was safe but an inconvenience, and that we should try not to use the shower. That limited us to one shower and limited use of the dining area.

La casa está fenomenal, incluso mejor que lo que parecen las fotos. La casa tiene michas posibilidades, desde la azotea y ver el atardecer, la barbacoa, el acceso rápido a l piscina y la mesa de Ping pong, la cocina está perfecta. Tienes acceso rápido a las carreteras principales si quieres hacer excursiones. Nos encantó la playa de Porta Grande. El anfitrión siempre atento si necesitas cualquier cosa. Muchas gracias

Mooi verblijf op 5 minuten rijden van de prachtige stranden van Galé. Wij verbleven met een gezin van 6 en het huis is van alle gemakken voorzien. Veel ruimte, netjes en het uitzicht vanaf het dakterras is fantastisch. Gedeeld zwembad vlak voor de deur en gevoel van veiligheid op het complex vanwege electronische poort met code. Top verblijf!

조용한 동네에 있는 숙소에요. 매우 깔끔하고 주방도 잘 되어있고 마당에서 바비큐도 할 수 있어요. 방이 모두 2층에 있어서 짐을 옮겨야 하는 불편함은 있지만 그래도 깔끔하고 침구도 편해요. 루프탑 소파에 앉아서 멋진 일몰도 보고 별도 볼 수 있어요. 마트나 해변은 차로 5-10분 정도 떨어져 있습니다. 여유롭게 머물기 매우 좋은 숙소입니다.

Beautiful villa. Clean, spacious, top spec facilities. Lovely views from the roof top to watch the sunrise in the morning and sunset in the evening. Pool directly across the pathway from the villa, and was like a private pool from midday as other guests tended to only use early in the morning. No car needed if you are happy to take taxis. Ubers and Bolts were available in minutes and cost around €5 to beach, old town, marina, supermarkets and shopping mall. The greeter Jacqueline was extremely friendly and supportive with a flexible check in and communication with the host agency was always great. Cannot wait to return 🤩

There is plenty of living space downstairs with a big garden and really spacious bedrooms also, and a big pool directly opposite the apartment which hardly had any other guests using, would highly recommend staying here it’s great value for money.

This townhome in the Algarve really was great.
Despite the absence of an ocean view, my stay at this Algarve townhome was amazing. When we first walked in, it was impeccably clean and tastefully decorated, it provided a cozy retreat in a tranquil setting.
