    der Aufenthalt war insgesamt sehr schön, erholsam und bequem. die Küche ist mit allen erdenkbaren Geräten unglaublich gut ausgerüstet, alle Räume sind großzügig, geschmackvoll und sorgfältig gestaltet. Der Wasserdruck ist sensationell, Duschen und Baden macht wirklich Freude. Auch im Winter ist jeder Raum sehr gut heizbar was in Luz nicht selbstverständlich ist. Ein Aufzug ist vorhanden, das Appartment ist gut gesichert. Die Entfernung zum Strand ist gering. Restaurants und der Supermarkt sehr gut erreichbar. Der support service war extrem schnell, höflich und effizient und hat bei allen Fragen geholfen. Allerdings ist das Appartment nicht "individuell" ....es handelt sich um eine große Anlage, dafür eben modern und komfortabel. Der einzige Schwachpunkt - und das ist sicher subjektiv - ich fand die Betten viel zu weich. in dem master Schlafzimmer ging es einigermaßen in dem zweiten Zimmer waren die Matratzen so weich, dass ich dort nicht schlafen konnte.

    Fijne ontvangst en vertrek bij de receptie van Baia da Luz. Fijn balkon voor lekker ontbijten in de ochtendzon. De keuken heeft zeer veel materiaal om zelf uitgebreid te koken. De locatie ligt in een zeer prettig resort/hotel. Goed bereikbaar per auto en alles erg mooi verzorgd. Lopend naar strand en de promenade en verschillende goede restaurants. In november is de temperatuur heerlijk en het dorp aangenaam rustig.

  7. Fantastic Fantastic Fantastic

    My group consisted of two middle aged couples as a group we have been visiting Luz for around 15 years. The apartment and resort is one of the best we’ve stayed at. The apartment was beautifully appointed and the outside patio area very spacious. The pool and bar area were very relaxing and drinks and snacks very reasonable. We will be returning next year

    Absolument ravie de notre séjour. Le logement et l'emplacement était au delà de nos attentes : chaque pièces étaient très bien équipées, l'emplacement est sublime et extrêmement bien entretenu, plage à 7min à pied et magnifique piscine et sécurisée à 5 min à pied. Nous étions comblés. Nous avons été accueillis chaleureusement par la réceptionniste de la résidence et ce tardivement. Nous reviendrons avec plaisir !

  27. Three months stay

    The location of the apartment is great, nice view to the rock and also to the sea - you can see the nice colors of sunset from the balcony. The apartment would need some refresh especially to coffee table and single beds. The kitchen is fully equipped and it was easy to cook there. We loved to stay in the area, the facilities in general are excellent, swimming pools and tennis courts. There are nice walking paths around the area and even to nearby villages. The Alloro restaurant is top. Really nice place!

    Positive: This is a great apartment located a 5 min walk to the centre of Praia da Luz, its beach, shops, restaurants and bars. It was extremely quiet and the pool was close. The apartment was spacious, modern with a kitchen that had everything you could need. Bedrooms were spacious and beds comfortable. Plenty of wardrobe space and great bathrooms with really good shower. The view from the apartment was great and as it was located on first floor and not many people around it was peaceful and we ate out on the spacious balcony and it was gorgeous. A fabulous apartment that we would highly recommend by sorting a couple of small issues. Negative: There were a couple of things that stop this apartment getting 100% rating. One was that we stayed here for 9 nights and there was no change of bedlinen provided. I see from previous reviews that this has been brought up before. Whatever about no cleaning being provided having to wash the bedlinen during our hols was disappointing. Surely it would be possible for a change of bedlinen to be provided for the occupants that they can change themselves without incurring any extra cost to occupant or owner. It really wasn't good enough, it was the first time I ever had to wash bedlinen on my holidays!!! Secondly, a sky box is listed as being a service provided but it did not work and several reviews prior to us also brought this up...either get it fixed or don't advertise it. The toaster also needs to be replaced as it kept tripping the electric when being used from any socket. Simple things that end up being frustrating and taking away from what could have been a perfect experience.

    Positive: Exceptionally nice property in a very convenient location, marred slightly due to minor maintenance issues. Reception service very helpful, but as this was a private owner let, they had no responsibility for maintenance. Excellent broadband, very well equiped appartment with everything you could need for a pleasant stay. Negative: Minor maintenance issues wasted quite a lot of time. TV not working at all when we arrived. Resort Digital TV fixed by two days later, but sky box never worked. (Box and dish OK but maintenance reported the problem was caused by card not working). One bedside lamp not working due to plug broken in socket, so we couldn't change the lamps over. Several light bulbs not working. but this was only minor.

    I would advise booking an apt direct with Baia da Luz. We didn’t have a nice experience in this apartment. The complex itself is fab and I would imagine you’d get better value & better standard booking direct. This apt for us was dirty, hadn’t been cleaned properly, dishes were dirty, bathrooms smelled, towels were threadbare, bed clothes old and again didn’t smell good. Place needs a big revamp. Overall a big no from us

  47. Very nice and clean apartment

    We really enjoyed our stay at "Rock and Sea" in Baia Da Luz! The apartment was very clean and we had a great time there during our stay in Praia da Luz. It was also cozy and everything we needed was there. It is only a five minutes walk to the beach and the boardwalk and the Swimmingpool at Baia da Luz was also great. Maybe in high season it could be a bit crowded. Thanks and kind regards
