This was one of four places we stayed while visiting Portugal. We were there for 5 nights. Warning- This apartment is tricky to find! You cannot see the building/apartment number from the road and the GPS directions on air bnb took us to a four way intersection with no indication of where to go. After we found it the accommodation was very nice with the best mattresses we had of all our stays. The climate control did not work well in the ensuite bedroom or in the living room. The location is close to one of the beaches and a couple of great restaurants but other than that Lagos itself is too far away to walk to easily. There was no bath soap or shampoo so you'll need to bring your own. Also papertowels and extra trash bags are a good idea. When we left we could not find where to drop our trash bags. I messaged the host and he was not able to help us. Overall we would probably stay again but there are a few caveats to be aware of.

Die Unterkunft war ok. Wir mussten erstmal gründlich sauber machen, da die Reinigung nicht unseren Erwartungen entsprach. Es war leider sehr feucht in der Wohnung, sodass die Klamotten und Bettwäsche die ganze Zeit klamm waren. Die nicht beheizten Bäder und Handtücher haben wir gar nicht trocken bekommen. Leider gab es auch keine Handtücher oder Bettwäsche zum wechseln, sodass wir zwischendurch einen öffentlichen Trockner aufgesucht haben. Die Küche war sehr gut ausgestattet und es hat an nichts gefehlt.

All that one needs for longer stay is here. Need to tackle the black mold in one of the bathrooms and shower enclosure is broken in second bathroom but everything else was very convenient. Perhaps some rugs would make the place a bit cosier as its cool in the nights. Kitchen well equiped and spacious with excellent hob extractor. Huge fridge and freezer and dishwasher and clothes washing first class. Would stay again for sure - the best bit is east and west facing balconies and west faces the wild looking Atalaia - wonderful at sunset

A very beautiful location at a very quite places away from the city! It was perfect for our family & the apartement is very beautiful & nicely decorated. The only thing we really disliked were the bathrooms. The curtain of the bathtube was dirty, so we decided not to shower in that room. And the other bathroom had a schower cabine & the door always fall off. So it was not really confortable to take a shower! If this would be repaired/changed, the apartement would be a dream!

Calme et reposant, vacances idéales
Positive: Apparemment calme et spacieux, propre, bien équipé. Propriétaires gentils et à l'écoute. Plage assez proche avec transats, belle vue avec plus beau couché de soleil de cette région de Lagos. Belle piscine, beau lever de soleil depuis la terrasse. Connexion Wi-Fi très bonne. Centre ville accessible en Bolt pour 4€ en moyenne. Negative: J'ai communiqué tous les petits détails à améliorer aux propriétaires, s'ils en tiennent compte, l'appartement restera dans mes favoris 😉

Das Appartement ist sehr schön, bietet viel Platz und ist sehr ruhig gelegen. Die Betten sind bequem. Der Gemeinschaftspool ist super! Zu Fuß kann man an den Klippen entlang zum Strand laufen, den Ortskern von Lagos erreicht man am besten mit dem Auto. Da es sich bei Porto de Mós um eine reine Wohnsiedlung handelt, gibt es hier keinen Supermarkt, Restaurants o.ä. Kleine Mankos der Unterkunft: Schubläden und Schränke in der Küche lassen sich nicht ganz einfach öffnen und schließen, es ist Fingerspitzengefühl gefragt. Der Geschirrspüler funktioniert zwar, reinigt das Geschirr aber leider nicht gut, so dass wir von Hand spülen mussten. Der Staubsauger war leider auch kaputt - diese Infos haben wir dem Reinigungsteam mitgegeben, so dass nachgebessert werden kann. Alles in allem kann ich einen Aufenthalt in der Unterkunft empfehlen!

Muy fácil la ubicación del alojamiento, la zona era muy tranquila y alejada para el descanso de los clientes. El alojamiento era muy moderno, limpio y perfecto para el turismo. El único inconveniente fue la entrada que no nos dieron antes el código del portal de la vivienda. Recomiendo al 100% el alojamiento

The biggest problem is that as soon as you book this non refundable place is that they give 10 page PDF files that include extra rules which were not previously stated. Check in instructions are also in the file, and when I asked them to give me simple instructions the answer was to read the file. Not an Airbnb experience at all. The location is more than peaceful, it's dead. No grocery shops, you need a car to go to the city. The beach is nice and not far away, 10min walk. The apartment is wonderful and very nicely decorated, but it is in the apartment complex, and the neighbours are not very polite.

Sin duda lo recomendaría 100%. El apartamento es súper cómodo, muy bien ubicado para visitar las zonas del Algarve. Cuenta con piscina comunitaria en una comunidad tranquila. Para ir a la playa debes coger el coche pero no es problema ya que hay mucho aparcamiento. Todo estuvo genial!

À pied par les sentiers à l'arrière du logement, il est facile de rejoindre la plage. Pour le centre historique, vous devez avoir une voiture sinon c'est un peu loin. La cour intérieure avec la piscine est superbe! Endroit paisible. Je suis mitigé pour l'appartement... il est beau certes, mais plusieurs choses nous ont apportées des irritants durant le séjour : forte odeur de fosse sceptique la 1ère journée, les batteries de toutes les manettes étaient à plats, nous avons manqué de papier de toilette, les tiroirs de la cuisine qu'on doit se battre avec pour les ouvrir ou fermer, manque de prises de courant dans la cuisine. À part ces désagréments, tout était bien !

Lots of rules but limited instructions. Could not find the apartment and had to wander the neighbourhood to find it. The air conditioning was not working on arrival and this was reported. It took four days to resolve with only one working remote for three air conditioners when we left. Toilet paper was rationed so we had to buy our own. Only one tablet for the dishwasher so we washed everything by hand. Rental Valley staff did not know the apartment or the area as they could not advise where the bins were but the rules were that all rubbish had to be removed. They could not advise how to work the washing machine. We were given a phone number to contact them on but when we wanted the air conditioning fixed we were advised to use the Airbnb messaging. This has been my worst Airbnb experience. In future I will stick to properties who are managed by the owners not an estate agent.

My kids and I just simply fell in love with the place . It is located in a quiet area, very convenient to the town centre about 8 minutes by car. Only 10 minutes walk to the closest beach . The flat itself is sparking clean and stylish. Host is always prompt response, very professional and great service. We can’t wait to come back to the place.

We had a great stay and would come back in a heartbeat. Clean, spacious, quiet and close to an amazing beach. My only suggestion is to add a not in the arrival instructions that the unit it at the top right of the road because you cannot see the building number 80 from the road so we had to walk around and ask for help to find it. The unit is well stocked and we were able to get a late checkout as no one was staying the day we left which was much appreciated.

Hallo we did had a great stay. But my opinion is if you there for 14 days you expect more towels. And a couple beach towels should be great to. I know there is a wasmachine but it takes a couple days to let it dry. Same for your bed sheets a couple extra should be nice. For the rest it is a great apartment lots of room. And if you go right out of your apartment you can walk a lot. Thanks for the stay.

I can’t say enough about my stay. The unit was beautiful, private, clean, and so close to the beach and hiking trails. The beach in Porto de Mós is just stunning, and the surrounding neighbourhood is lovely. The marina and historic city centre are a little further away, but still walkable (30 min) or easily accessible by bus. There are 2 cafés/restaurants right by the beach, which is very convenient. I would definitely recommend staying here. It was hard to leave. I’ll be looking for this unit again next time!

The apartment is spacious and bright with a deck on each side providing beautiful views from both. The furniture is modern and comfortable and the kitchen has more than adequate dishes and pans but not a lot of basic cooking essentials. Because it is located within a complex, both the taxi drivers we had could not find the exact location. If you are arriving by taxi, ask the rental company what instructions to give the driver. This is the perfect spot for a quiet stay away from the busy downtown area. We definitely would stay again.
