Beautiful Burgau
We fell in love with Burgau - truly a wonderful little village / enjoyed all of the Algarve !!! The local people were very welcoming and helpful when needed Will be back for sure 😊

We've spent great time here. Very nice and tidy apartments, modern and comfortable. Very big terrace. Everything what is needed (beach, markets, cafes and restaurants) is in a walking distance. Please note that the location of picking up the keys is not the same, it is 4 minutes away distance by car from the apartments.

Die Wohnung, in der wir fünf Tage verbracht haben, ist wunderbar eingerichtet. Außerdem ist sie außerordentlich sauber und verfügt über eine hervorragend ausgestattete Küche. Die Lage ist ideal, um die südliche Algarve zu erkunden, und das Dorf selbst ist sehr charmant. Unserer Meinung nach ist es ratsam, ein Auto zu haben. Die Check-out Zeit ist im Vergleich zu anderen Anbietern sehr früh.

Eine sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtete Wohnung in einem Neubau. Der Poolbereich ist etwas lieblos, aber dafür ist der Pool sauber und groß genug, um ein paar Bahnen zu schwimmen. Burgau ist ein süßes Dorf mit wenigen, aber guten Restaurants und einem sehr schönen Strand. Die Unterkunft war sehr ruhig und hat alles geboten, was wir gebraucht haben. Insgesamt zu empfehlen.

Appartement agréable, calme et bien situé. J'y ai passé un très bon séjour. Il dispose d'une piscine et de transats et l'espace reste non-visible depuis la rue. L'appartement parait légèrement plus grand en photo qu'en réalité, mais dispose tout de même de volumes agréables dans lequel on s'y sent très bien. Le balcon est très agréable et bien aménagé: il est exposé au soleil jusque 12h puis un peu d'ombre pour lire au frais. L'appartement est bien isolé et reste très frais, je n'ai même pas eu besoin d'allumer la climatisation (1 dans le salon et 1 dans la chambre) malgré la chaleur. C'est une entreprise qui gère le bien, donc il y a un peu moins de "chaleur" qu'avec un hôte "particulier", mais l'équipe de gestion est sympa et réactive. L'appartement est bien aménagé, néanmoins, compte tenu du prix payé, je trouve dommage l'absence d'une bouteille d'huile d'olive (même premier prix) et que le pan cassé de la porte de douche ne soit pas remplacé.

This is a beautiful new condo building with an excellent location. Very strong AC and wifi, just a few minutes walk to the beach, and very clean. Would stay again in a heartbeat! Side note for light sleepers - the people staying upstairs and over one unit had a small child and woke up very early. Not sure if they were a short term rental or lived there permanently, but I was glad to have earplugs.

Wir hatten einen tollen Aufenthalt in Burgau und können die Unterkunft nur weiterempfehlen! Die Wohnung war sauber und sah aus wie auf den Fotos, das Meer konnte man sogar vom Balkon aus sehen und man konnte den Strand und alle Restaurants schnell zu Fuß erreichen. Der Pool war auch angenehm zur schnellen Abkühlung. Die Abholung des Schlüssels war einfach und der Kontakt mit Rental Valley vorher sehr gut. Insgesamt ist die Lage von Burgau toll, um von dort aus mit dem Mietwagen einfach und schnell mehrere Sehenswürdigkeiten und Strände zu besuchen.

We stayed for a week and felt right at home. the apparent is really large and the balcony is great. Even though there is a street in front of the building it’s super quiet when the windows are locked. Great equipped kitchen und modern interior. Location is perfect to get around. Would recommend to everyone!

Apartment ok, swimming pool & Rental Valley useless(fencing started to provide some cover).
Positive: No comment Negative: Sent an email before arrival advising that we would try to reach the Burgau property before 21.00 14/05/23, but no response received from Rental Valley.. So racing by taxi from Faro to the property, 30 mins before arrival we receive a note advising the keys are now to be collected from Lagos... A reluctant taxi driver takes us to Rental Valley Offices, not easily found in the darkness, to a securing box, which wasn't easily opened, so called the contact Sarah, and managed to get the keys out. Frustrated, annoyed, tired and Euros 30 later we arrive at what we believed to be our apartment. Thankfully it was.. Nobody called after all the nights issues to check that we'd actually arrived ok.. Marvellous customer service ! Other problems highlighted with the properties fell on deaf ears(keys jamming/swimming pool/tv), so we gave up in the end. The fridge does not close properly and is defrosting, but this looks like it has been badly installed, and always has been this way... Refusing to reimburse our Euro 30, and not being interest in resolving issues raised, Rental Valley badly lacks in the customer service and support departments, and will advise our friends to beware or avoid.. Thanks to them, the edge was taken off what was a lovely break.. Dan & Paula Thomas

Positive: The location is perfect with a small view of the sea at the end of the road. Lovely balcony with plenty sun access. The bed was very comfy and a lovely big bathroom and kitchen area. Negative: On arrival the fridge was turned off so we had to turn it on, there was an issue with meeting the host for the key and there was no WiFi. The decor could have been much nicer.

A great modern apartment a few steps from everything you need in Burgau. You are in the hustle and bustle of this lovely place feeling part of it rather than a visitor. We did not use the pool as this is not very private, no sun loungers and no ladders!! However it is all very new and I am sure they will get round to finishing it off. But on the plus you don’t need it as a beautiful beach is a few mins stroll down the cobble streets. We loved it here although not the apartments fault the road can be noisy.
