Batalha is easily accessible and offers various transportation options. The nearest major airports are in Lisbon and Porto, with Batalha about a 1.5-hour drive from Lisbon and 2 hours from Porto. Car rental and bus services are available from both cities, providing a straightforward journey to Batalha.

Once in Batalha, the town is pedestrian-friendly, allowing visitors to explore its main attractions, like the iconic Monastery of Batalha, on foot. For those looking to venture beyond the town, renting a car is advisable for flexibility and convenience. This enables easy access to nearby towns and natural sites such as the Serras de Aire e Candeeiros Natural Park. Public bus services are also available but may have less frequent schedules.
