The space
From this recently built Townhouse (finished in summer 2019) you can easily walk to the beach of Meia Praia. We offer free private parking in front of the apartment and a private swimming pool with sun loungers in the garden.
This location gives you a quick starting point for day trips to other south and west coast beaches or water slide parks in the area. It is located within walking distance of the Lagos Marina and right behind Meia Praia beach.
The house consists of 3 layers.

2 bedrooms (both twin with 2 90x200 luxury box spring beds that can be pushed together.

The neighborhood
Our holiday home is close to the Meia Praia beach and the town of Lagos (both within walking distance). The Marina area itself has all you need including restaurants, bars with live music and a large supermarket.
Lagos is the perfect holiday destination with a lively historical center full of shops, (super)markets, a marina, bars and restaurants. It is known for its breathtaking cliffs and we highly recommend a boat, kayak or SUP tour to see them from the water. The town has a picturesque historical center, great food and friendly people. As it is located on the coast you can enjoy several watersports activities such as surfing and sailing. There are many activities for all ages and preferences in this area.
Getting around
You can reach Lagos in about one hour by car from Faro Airport and car rental is available in the parking lot of the airport. By train it will take about 2,5 to 3 hours.
Lagos has a train station (for travel towards Faro, Lisbon and Porto) and a bus station (for buses towards the west-side of the south coast) but do note that buses and trains only go a few times per day. You can easily get around without a car and there are plenty of taxis and Ubers available, but if you really want to explore the area surrounding Lagos, a (rental) car will make your life a whole lot easier.
You can park on-site for free.

Lied about early and late check out, once booked then told me I couldn’t costing me an additional £380 in flights. POOL TEMPERATURES FREEZING. Unusable weather temp was 27’ FLYS thousands of mosquito & bluebottle flys that bug you ALL day long. STAIRS are a death trap if you have children under the age of 11! We had to use our suit cases to prevent any of the children slipping between the gaps. No where to put your rubbish. Beds are to hard and uncomfortable. We bought and left a travel cot there as there wasn’t one. Paid £2400 for 4pm 24/09 - 10am 30/09 for 5 1/2 days. Not even a bottle of water ready for when you get there.

Fantastic Airbnb! 6 of us stayed here for four nights in total and the only downside is we wish we booked for longer. It's ideally located for the boardwalk, beach, marina and the town itself. The house blew us all away and we couldn't believe the sheer size of it, so many nice balconies and the pool is lovely! Responsive professional host and easy to find and smooth check in. Would definitely recommend this. 10/10 thank you so much - we will be back!

La vivienda está situada algo apartada del centro del pueblo, por lo que en los alrededores no hay muchos servicios, salvo un restaurante chino. A cambio, cuenta con una ubicación privilegiada muy cerca de la playa, desde la que se pueden escuchar las olas e incluso disfrutar de vistas al horizonte.
La casa es espectacular, tal y como se aprecia en las fotos. Está completamente equipada para alojar cómodamente a 8 personas. Las camas son muy confortables, con colchones de calidad, y hasta las toallas superan el nivel de muchos hoteles.
Como punto de mejora, mencionaríamos las almohadas, que resultan algo bajas y finas, lo que puede dificultar el descanso.
En general, nuestra estancia ha sido excelente y merece mucho la pena reservar esta vivienda. Además, el equipo de Rental Valley ha sido muy amable y atento en todo momento.

La propriété est tout simplement magnifique! Tout est neuf, impeccablement propre et très bien équipé. La literie et les serviettes sont de qualité supérieure, ce qui ajoute au confort général du séjour. Chaque terrasse offre une vue à couper le souffle — un vrai bonheur à tout moment de la journée!
Située à environ 7 minutes de marche d’une plage splendide qui s’étend sur plusieurs kilomètres, cette maison est l’endroit idéal pour profiter pleinement de Lagos. On se trouve également à 7-10 minutes de la marina, où l’on retrouve de nombreux restaurants et un charmant pont piétonnier menant directement au centre-ville.
Une grande épicerie à proximité permet de cuisiner sur place facilement, ce qui est très pratique. Et que dire de la piscine? Elle est superbe et nous a offert de parfaits moments de détente en fin de journée, après la plage.
Je recommande cette propriété sans aucune hésitation — j’espère y revenir très bientôt!

The place is BEAUTIFUL! It was very spacious and perfectly located. The only issue we had was that we were not aware that they used solar panels to heat the water and UNPLUG the ability to heat the water traditionally. We were there for 6 days and were only able to have a warm shower for day and last day. Unable to wash clothes to bring back because they would dry in time as they don’t have a dryer. I would stay there again but would require they keep everything plugged in. Algarve is usually sunny but apparently in enough while we were there. They did give us a small credit to try and compensate for what happened. Not enough in my eyes.

We were overall pleased with this location. We had an issue with hot water but the rental company was responsive. We arrived and the neighbors were in party mode. Lucky for us they were quiet at night. The location is great as we were able to walk the boardwalk along the beach to restaurants and town.

Great house for our stay as an extended family of 8. The house has everything you need for the stay, the beds are super comfy, and there is enough seating for everyone both outside and inside. The air con works really well, and the shutters help keep the house cool too, when needed. The pool was lovely, it wasn't heated (July) but warm enough in the sunshine. The house is even better than the pictures online, with updated furniture and extra seating/umbrella outside. The marina is just a 10min walk, and the Old Town 20mins walk. There are lots of restaurants close by at the Marina, and a large supermarket 15 mins walk away. Uber Eats also delivers here.

We had a great stay. Lots of space for our party of 7. Comfortable beds, private bedrooms, several outdoor sitting areas, outdoor grill. We saw the sights in the morning and would come back to enjoy the pool and have dinner. We were able to walk to most places workin 15-20 minutes - train station, historical sites, market, harbor, beach. We took Bolts when we wanted to go farther or needed transportation for luggage/groceries. Go to the Mercado Municipal de Lagos for fresh food/fish, it’s open everyday except Sunday. Go to the Vivo Mercado Lagos (organic/local food) on Wednesday. Be prepared that there are a few things you may need at the house that are not provided: pool/beach towels, shampoo and soap. In the kitchen, we did find salt/pepper/olive oil/honey/etc.

Perfect place for my partner and our 3 "kids" (17,18,20). The house is huge and the view is amazing. This place is super quiet and peaceful. The kitchen is fully stocked although we mostly ate out and ubereats. The pool and backyard are beautiful. Just an easy 15 minute walk to the marina- had a great dinner and margaritas at Southwest Bistro. Highlight for kids was taking a boat tour to Bengali Cave and other grottos. Old town is just a short walk over the bridge and full of cute shops, restaurants and bars. Felt totally safe and had no problems going our own ways. Check out the Lagos Museum and attached church- so beautiful. We ubered to the most beautiful beach, Praia do Camilo, and walked the boardwalk back to Lagos making pitstops at Praia Dona Ana and Prai dos Estudantes. Our host was wonderful and Rental Valley was easy to reach by phone and text. Totally recommend this place!

House in Lagos was perfect for our family of 8. Everyone had plenty of personal space and the communal areas were comfortable for gathering and spending time together - including the wonderful backyard with great pool, outdoor and indoor dining areas and living room. The house was very clean and new and included all the kitchen tools needed for cooking, clean towels for everyone, etc.
The house is also in a great location that was safe and walking distance to both Lagos Marina and Lagos Old Town, the central area for dining, shopping, walking around.
Also appreciated having a local host who came to welcome us and provided overview of the house and amenities.

This is a great villa. Location is perfect for the beach and the marina/town. Very modern . They could do with a little more furniture. It would be amazing if they made use of the roof terrace and front terrace as it gets the evening sun and some beach towels would be good. But overall we had a great family holiday here.

It was a fabulous rental for the few days we spent in Lagos. The rental was clean, very close to the beach and local restaurants and excursions. The house was well equipped with appliances. Our host met us at the door and walked us through the apartment and its features which other Airbnb I stayed at lacked. She was very pleasant and made us feel welcomed.

Es ist eigentlich eine Villa mit privatem Pool auf 3 Stöcken. Sehr gross und modern ausgestattet. Xtra grosse Zimmer mit Bad-en-Suite. Die Waschmaschine haben wir geschätzt :-) War alles perfekt. Pool, Zimmer, Waschmaschine und privat Parkplatz vor dem Haus.

This place was stunning. The location was perfect, just a few minutes walk to a beautiful long beach with life guards. Equally a short (20-30min) walk to the harbour and main town of Lagos. Uber is cheap in the area so incase you don't fancy the walk. Plenty of space and a very modern villa with a nice pool, comfy beds. Perhaps some more towels could be supplied but overall I'd definitely recommend and hope to return. Thanks for a great few days!
