The space
This spacious, modern and bright apartment is perfectly located and has a large living with sofa bed, seating area, dining area and a separate bedroom with comfortable queen size bed. The open kitchen has all the basic equipment you might need for a home cooked dinner. It sleeps four persons, 2 in the bedroom and 2 on the sofa bed in the living room. There is one bathroom. Perfect for a family with 1 or 2 children.

The neighborhood
The Marina area is about 10 minutes away and has all you need including restaurants, bars with live music and a large supermarket.
Lagos is the perfect holiday destination with a lively historical center full of shops, (super)markets, a marina, bars and restaurants. It is known for its breathtaking cliffs and we highly recommend a boat, kayak or SUP tour to see them from the water. The town has a picturesque historical center, great food and friendly people. As it is located on the coast you can enjoy several watersports activities such as surfing and sailing. There are many activities for all ages and preferences in this area.
Getting around
You can reach Lagos in about one hour by car from Faro Airport and car rental is available in the parking lot of the airport. By train it will take about 2,5 to 3 hours.
Lagos has a train station (for travel towards Faro, Lisbon and Porto) and a bus station (for buses towards the west-side of the south coast) but do note that buses and trains only go a few times per day. You can easily get around without a car and there are plenty of taxis and Ubers available, but if you really want to explore the area surrounding Lagos, a (rental) car will make your life a whole lot easier.

Guest can cancel free of charge up to 14 days before arrival. After this date, 100% of the total booking amount is due. Cleaning fees will be refunded to the guest in case of cancellation within 14 days of arrival. We strongly advise taking cancellation insurance for your trip to avoid possible financial loss.

The apartment was spacious and well cared for, with everything you could need! The hosts provided us with lots of helpful information and were communicative from booking to throughout the entire stay. Although the location is perhaps not as central as others, the proximity to the marina and old town is all within walking distance and is worth the walk! We will certainly be back :)

Traffic noise was louder than I expected. By marina but no view. The grocery store nearby was nice to have. Now that we’ve been to Lagos and around the Algarve I would select a different property I think .

Die Unterkunft ist leider an einer stark befahrenen Straße gelegen, daher konnte man nachts das Fenster nicht unbedingt offen lassen. Das Bad war teilweise sehr in die Jahre gekommen. Die Duschwanne sah sehr schmutzig aus und es befand sich Schimmel in den Fugen. Die Spülmaschine funktionierte nicht optimal, aber ausreichend.

Apartment is spacious, bright and comfortable. We felt good living there for 2 weeks.
Communication with Rental team was very good, they were helpful and responsive.
I’ve been working remotely including participation on the calls and screen sharing. Internet connection was good most of the time, sporadically got some lags or my audio was breaking.
Window’s and wall’s noise isolation is poor but this is only an issue for sleeping. We slept with ear plugs and it was ok.
Minor disadvantages among utilities are dishwasher cleaning only 50% of dishes, necessity to use matches for the oven and old router that reboots 10 minutes and has weak security protocol for Wi-Fi. Anyway value for price is 10/10.

Zur Altstadt ist es Fußläufig auch nicht weit.
Der Kontakt ist auch sehr freundlich und unkompliziert.
Wer geräuschempfindlich ist sollte sich dagegen wappnen da die Wohnung direkt an der Hauptstraße liegt.

Really clean! Apartment is near the grocery store.
You may also hear the sounds of cars and outside noise quite well from inside but since we don’t have trouble sleeping everything was great!
