The space
We are happy to welcome you into our 2 bedroom family home, located in the quiet neighbourhoods of Zandvoort. The house includes all the luxuries you can ask for during your stay.
It is tastefully furnished, comfortable, and very spacious. Two bedrooms are pretty unique in Zandvoort for Holiday Rentals.
You have a fully equipped modern kitchen, where you can prepare breakfast, lunch or an extensive dinner. Moreover, you do not have to do the dishes afterwards because there is a dishwasher. In addition, the kitchen has a 4 burner induction cooktop, microwave-oven combination, fridge with freezer, coffee machine, electric water kettle, and other convenient devices.
Relax or watch TV together in the living room with comfortable couches. Then, wake up in the morning, after a nice hot shower, with a cup of coffee on your private roof patio.
We've received good feedback about our comfortable beds.
Beach, shopping centre, restaurants, bars, supermarket and train station are all walking distance. Amsterdam centre and Amsterdam airport (Schiphol) are 30 - 40 minutes away by car or train. Amsterdam is busier and more expensive to stay at. So this house is ideally located for visiting Amsterdam while staying near the beach and enjoying the calm nature area.

The neighborhood
Your holiday home is situated in one of Zandvoort's most popular neighbourhoods. The town centre and beach are within cycling distance, but you are just far enough to escape the noises and traffic.
Zandvoort has something to offer for almost everyone. From lots of beach clubs and restaurants in summer, you can have great food and drinks to more quietness to enjoy nature in the winter. Generally, all you need is close by and mostly within walking distance. So what are you looking for in your trip?
Two National Parks embed the village; De Waterleidingduinen and Kennemerduinen. So besides strolling the beach, those are two great areas to walk or cycle. There's so much more you can do! For instance, mountain-biking around the race-track, learning how to wave- or kitesurf, and you can even get your PADI. Did you know that Zandvoort also has a nude beach as well?
We also have a great race track called "Circuit Park Zandvoort" (1.2 km), Owned by a member of the Dutch Royal family. They organize many activities and festivities there, like DTM and Historic Grand Prix. So maybe you want to get your race license?
Last but not least, from Zandvoort you can quickly get to Amsterdam by public transport, which allows you to combine an exciting city trip with a relaxing getaway next to the beach.

Getting around
Zandvoort aan Zee has its train station, which you can get in just 27 minutes from Amsterdam Central and 45 minutes from Schiphol Airport. The train station is a 10-minute walk from the accommodation and a bus stop at 5. There is a direct line to Haarlem as well. So, public transport will get you around very well depending on your plans. We will share a handy website to plan your route.
Haarlem is within cycling distance from Zandvoort, and Amsterdam can be reached by train within 25 minutes. This train also stops in Haarlem and goes at regular intervals from early morning until late night.

Ins Zentrum und ans Meer zu Fuß etwas weit, mit Auto aber kein Problem, gibt auch eine Bushaltestelle.

Im Folgenden zähle ich die Pros und Cons, die für/gegen das Apartment sprechen auf:
Pros:
- sehr geräumige und lichtdurchflutete Wohnung mit Balkon
- gute Ausstattung (es hat uns an nichts gefehlt)
- Räumlichkeiten perfekt für ein Familie von vier oder 2 Paaren
- schöne Einrichtung
- eigener Parkplatz (normal großes Auto)
- gute Kommunikation mit Host
Cons:
- Sauberkeit (es gab ein paar staubige Stellen und die Bettwäsche roch ein bisschen eigenartig, jedoch gab es auch viele saubere Stellen in der Wohnung (WC, Wohnzimmer, Essbereich etc.) also das wäre auf jeden Fall ausbaufähiger
- Check-In war grundsätzlich einfach, jedoch finde ich persönlich eine Schlüsselbox an der Wohnung für den Gast angenehmer
Im Großen und Ganzen kann ich die Wohnung empfehlen vor allem wenn man nicht direkt in der Stadt wohnen möchte.

we didn't quite look at distance from transportation when booking as we just saw how lovely the home was and booked right away, however there is NL transportation or local taxis to help you get around.
Definitely recommend staying here if you have the chance!

Je le conseille vivement pour les voyages en famille ou entre amis.Parfait.
Un point un peu particulier.Plutot une observation : Le miroir dans la salle de bain est placé un peu haut. Pas pratique pour les personnes de petite taille :)
Mais il y a un grand miroir dans le salon qui nous a beaucoup aidé .
A part cela RAS !

Angeblich waren vor uns Mieter drin, mussten darum von 9Uhr bis ca 14Uhr warten bis wir einziehen konnten. Jedoch war es dort so kalt, dass niemals jemand dort vorher drin gewohnt hat (Heizungen waren ausgeschaltet).
Zudem war kein Terrassen Schlüssel auffindbar, nach vielen Telefonaten, kam auch nichts dabei rum und wir konnten die Terrasse immer noch nicht nutzen!

Schlechte Lage, direkt über einer KFZ Werkstatt, direkt neben einer Großbaustelle, die Wohnung war allgemein schmutzig, dreckige Betten, dreckige Küche, dreckige Toilette, Schimmel im Bad in der Dusche, überall Haare auf dem Sofa und sogar in der Küche, unser einjähriger Sohn wurde sogar von einer toten Wespe gestochen die wohlschon länger auf dem Sofa lag.

Viele Angaben der Airbnb stimmen nicht überein mit dem was wirklich vor Ort vorhanden ist (z.B. kein Föhn)
Der TV geht nur sehr langsam und man brauch 5min um auf einen anderen Sender zu schalten.
Die Lage ist leider nicht zentral aber man kommt mit dem Bus in die Innenstadt und man hat direkt ein Supermarkt in der Nähe.
Die Zimmer sind schön groß.

Het lag in een zeer slechte wijk, dit werd ook meermaals verteld door de taxi chauffeur. Het leek alsof de vloerbedekking niet gestofzuigd was en er leek schimmel in de badkamer te zitten.

De wijk waarin dit appartement ligt bleek zeer slecht. Wat ook meermaals door lokale bewoners werd gezegd.
